Claims (10)
- 集中型データを無線で送信する方法であって、
3次元空間において複数のカバレッジローブを形成するために複数のアンテナアレイ素子の第1のサブセットを同調するステップであって、前記複数のアンテナアレイ素子は電磁放射を受信する、該ステップと、
前記複数のカバレッジローブの少なくとも1つにおいて、1つまたは複数の新しい第1のクライアント装置を検出するステップと、
前記第1のサブセットによって、前記1つまたは複数の新しい第1のクライアント装置から第1のメッセージを受信するステップと、
前記第1のメッセージに基づいて、3次元空間における前記1つまたは複数の新しい第1のクライアント装置の第1の位置を決定するステップと、
前記第1の位置において電磁波の強め合う強度信号を生成するために、前記複数のアンテナアレイ素子の第2のサブセットを同調するステップと、
前記第1および第2のサブセットによって、前記電磁波を前記1つまたは複数の第1の装置に送信するステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記第1の位置を前記決定するステップは、前記複数のアンテナアレイ素子のうちの1つまたは複数のためのリバースタイミングを計算するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記リバースタイミングは、
前記第1のサブセットによって受信された前記第1のメッセージの入力時間オフセットを記録することと、
前記入力時間オフセットに基づいて前記リバースタイミングを計算することと
により計算されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記複数のカバレッジローブの少なくとも1つにおいて1つまたは複数の新しい第2のクライアント装置を検出するステップと、
前記1つまたは複数の新しい第2のクライアント装置から第2のメッセージを受信するステップと、
前記第2のメッセージに基づいて、3次元空間における前記1つまたは複数の新しい第1のクライアント装置の第2の位置を決定するステップと、
前記第2の位置において強め合う強度信号を生成するために、前記複数のアンテナアレイ素子の第3のサブセットを同調するステップと、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記電磁波を第1の周波数で前記1つまたは複数の第1のクライアント装置に、かつ第2の周波数で前記1つまたは複数の第2のクライアント装置に送信するステップ
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。 - 2つまたはそれ以上の第1のクライアント装置から同時に、データメッセージを、単一のデータ入力信号として受信するステップと、
前記単一のデータ入力信号を複数のデータ信号に分離するステップであって、各々は前記第1のクライアント装置の1つに対応する、ステップと、
前記第1のクライアント装置の各々に対してそれぞれのデータ信号を準備するステップと、
前記それぞれのデータ信号を多重化することにより出力データ信号を生成するステップと、
前記出力データ信号を前記第1のクライアント装置に送信するステップと、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第1の位置は、高さ成分を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の位置と、前記第1の位置の高度角および方位角と、前記第1の位置の前記複数のアンテナアレイ素子までの距離とに基づいて、前記1つまたは複数の新しい第1のクライアント装置の方向を決定するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 無線送信機であって、
複数の送受信機および複数のアンテナ素子を含む基地局送信機アレイを含み、前記アンテナ素子は電磁放射を受信し、
前記基地局送信機アレイは、
3次元空間において複数のカバレッジローブを形成するために前記複数のアンテナ素子の第1のサブセットを同調し、
前記複数のカバレッジローブの少なくとも1つにおいて、1つまたは複数の新しい第1のクライアント装置を検出し、
前記1つまたは複数の新しい第1のクライアント装置から第1のメッセージを受信し、
前記第1のメッセージに基づいて、3次元空間における前記1つまたは複数の新しい第1のクライアント装置の第1の位置を決定し、
前記第1の位置において電磁波の強め合う強度信号を生成するために、前記複数のアンテナ素子の第2のサブセットを同調し、
前記電磁波を前記1つまたは複数の第1の装置に送信する
ように構成されたことを特徴とする無線送信機。 - 前記基地局送信機アレイは、前記複数のアンテナ素子のうちの1つまたは複数のためのリバースタイミングを計算することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の無線送信機。
