Abstract
Description
Claims (17)
- 多孔質構造(1)を備える医療機器(9)であって、
前記多孔質構造の構成は、前記多孔質構造に適用される荷重に依存して変化し、
前記多孔質構造は、前記荷重が第1の大きさである場合には第1の構成を有し、かつ、前記荷重が前記第1の大きさより大きい第2の大きさである場合には第2の構成に移行し、
前記荷重は、圧縮荷重、引張荷重、剪断荷重、または捩れ荷重のうちの1つであり、
前記医療機器は、複数のユニットからなり、
前記多孔質構造は、前記複数のユニットのうちの第1のユニット(4)の第1の表面部分(2)と、前記複数のユニットのうちの第2のユニット(5)の第2の表面部分(3)と、を備え、
前記第1の表面部分は、前記多孔質構造が前記第1の構成を有している場合には前記第2の表面部分から引き離され、
前記第1の表面部分は、前記多孔質構造が前記第2の構成を有している場合には前記第2の表面部分に係合されている、医療機器。 - 請求項1に記載の医療機器において、
前記荷重の適用による前記多孔質構造の変形に対する抵抗は、前記多孔質構造が前記第1の構成を有している場合よりも前記多孔質構造が前記第2の構成を有している場合の方がより大きい、医療機器。 - 請求項1または2に記載の医療機器において、
前記多孔質構造は、前記多孔質構造が前記第2の構成を有している場合にのみ達成される最大機械強度を備えている、医療機器。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の医療機器において、
前記複数のユニットのそれぞれは、本体(20,22)と、当該本体から伸びるアーム(19,21)とを備える、医療機器。 - 請求項4に記載の医療機器において、
前記第1の表面部分は、前記第1のユニットの前記アーム(19)の一部分であり、かつ、前記第2の表面部分は、前記第2のユニットの前記アーム(21)の一部分である、医療機器。 - 請求項4または5に記載の医療機器において、
前記第1のユニットの前記アームは、前記第2のユニットの前記アームに互いに連結されている、医療機器。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の医療機器において、
前記第1および第2のユニットのうち少なくとも一方の前記本体が多孔質である、医療機器。 - 請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の医療機器において、
前記複数のユニットは、一次元配列、二次元配列、または三次元配列で相対的に位置決めされている、医療機器。 - 請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の医療機器において、
前記複数のユニットの全てが互いにほぼ同一である、医療機器。 - 請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の医療機器において、
前記多孔質構造は、第1のユニットと、第2のユニットと、前記第1のユニットを前記第2のユニットに接続する1つ以上の接続部材とを備えている、医療機器。 - 請求項10に記載の医療機器において、
前記1つ以上の接続部材のそれぞれは、前記第1の構成から前記第2の構成への前記多孔質構造の移行の間には、弾性的に変形するよう構成されている、医療機器。 - 請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の医療機器において、
前記多孔質構造は、0.3mm〜1.5mmの第1の気孔サイズ(24)を有する1つ以上の気孔(23)を備え、かつ
前記多孔質構造は、0.75mm〜5mmの第2の気孔サイズ(26)を有する1つ以上の気孔(25)を備えている、医療機器。 - 請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の医療機器において、
前記医療機器は、第1の端部(10)および第2の端部(11)を備え、
前記多孔質構造は、前記第1の端部と前記第2の端部との間にあり、
前記第1の端部および前記第2の端部のうちの一方またはそれぞれは、前記多孔質構造と同じ多孔質であり、または、前記多孔質構造ほど多孔質ではなく、
選択的に、前記第1の端部および前記第2の端部のうち少なくとも一方は、留め具を受け入れるための開口(12)を備えている、医療機器。 - 請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の医療機器において、
前記多孔質構造は弾性である、医療機器。 - 請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載の医療機器において、
前記医療機器は、
整形外科用インプラント、頭部インプラント、顎顔面用インプラント、頭部顎顔面用インプラント、ジョイント交換用インプラント、骨接合用インプラント、骨欠損充填用インプラント、股関節用インプラント、脊柱用インプラント、ステント、または移植片を含むインプラント、
歩行用装具、短下肢装具、外骨格、インソール、添え木、またはヘルメットを含む矯正器具、
および
手部義手、股関節装具、または肢装具を含む人工装具、
のうちの一つである、医療機器。 - 多孔質構造(1)を備える医療機器(9)を製造する方法であって、
前記多孔質構造が使用中に受ける可能性のある荷重範囲を決定すること、および
前記多孔質構造が前記多孔質構造に適用される荷重に依存して変化する構成を有し、前記荷重が第1の大きさである場合には第1の構成を、前記荷重が前記荷重範囲内で前記第1の大きさより大きい第2の大きさである場合には第2の構成を前記多孔質構造が有するような前記多孔質構造を備える前記医療機器を製造すること、からなり、
前記荷重は、圧縮荷重、引張荷重、剪断荷重、または捩れ荷重のうちの1つであり、
前記医療機器は、複数のユニットからなり、
前記多孔質構造は、前記複数のユニットのうちの第1のユニット(4)の第1の表面部分(2)と、前記複数のユニットのうちの第2のユニット(5)の第2の表面部分(3)と、を備え、
前記第1の表面部分は、前記多孔質構造が前記第1の構成を有する場合には前記第2の表面部分から引き離され、
前記第1の表面部分は、前記多孔質構造が前記第2の構成を有する場合には前記第2の表面部分に係合される、方法。 - 請求項16に記載の方法において、
前記製造が、付加的な製造または選択的レーザー溶融を含む、方法。
