Claims (16)
- 第1の端部および第2の端部を有する中空円筒形多孔質金属メディアを備える多孔質フィルタ要素であって、前記中空円筒形多孔質金属メディアが、前記第1の端部から前記第2の端部まで軸線に沿って長手方向に配置された複数のプリーツを備え、前記プリーツの各々が、約1:≧1の高さ対幅のアスペクト比をそれぞれが有する複数の部分を備える、多孔質フィルタ要素。
- 前記複数の部分がそれぞれ、1:>1の高さ対幅のアスペクト比を有する、請求項1に記載の多孔質フィルタ要素。
- 前記複数の部分がそれぞれ、1.5:>1の高さ対幅のアスペクト比を有する、請求項1に記載の多孔質フィルタ要素。
- 前記中空円筒形多孔質金属メディアが内面を有し、前記複数の部分それぞれが中空内部と、その内面に形成された開放端と、1:≧1の高さ対幅のアスペクト比を有する閉鎖上端とを有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の多孔質フィルタ要素。
- 少なくとも前記第1の端部が、先細になっている、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の多孔質フィルタ要素。
- 前記プリーツ内の連続する部分間の中心間距離が、約0.02インチから約2インチ(約0.05cmから約5.1cm)の範囲にある、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の多孔質フィルタ要素。
- 少なくとも前記第1の端部が開いている、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の多孔質フィルタ要素。
- 少なくとも前記第1の端部が閉じている、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の多孔質フィルタ要素。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の多孔質フィルタ要素を備える多孔質フィルタであって、前記第1の端部が、継手をさらに備える、多孔質フィルタ。
- 前記第1の端部および前記第2の端部を有する前記中空円筒形多孔質金属メディアを備える少なくとも1つの追加の多孔質要素をさらに備え、前記中空円筒形多孔質金属メディアが、前記第1の端部から前記第2の端部まで軸線に沿って長手方向に配置された複数のプリーツを備え、前記プリーツの各々が、約1:≧1の高さ対幅のアスペクト比をそれぞれが有する前記複数の部分を備える、請求項9に記載の多孔質フィルタ。
- 流体を濾過する方法であって、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の多孔質フィルタ要素、または請求項9または10に記載の多孔質フィルタに前記流体を通すステップを含む、方法。
- 前記流体を前記多孔質フィルタ要素または前記多孔質フィルタの外側から前記多孔質フィルタ要素または前記多孔質フィルタの中空内部に通すステップを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 洗浄流体を濾過の反対方向に前記多孔質フィルタ要素または前記多孔質フィルタに通すステップをさらに含む、請求項11または12に記載の方法。
- 逆パルスを行うステップを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 垂直に配置された請求項9または10に記載の複数のフィルタを備える、フィルタシステム。
