Abstract
Description
図1に示すように、動物用健康リスク評価システム10は、動物病院11と連携することにより、患畜である動物の健康に係る将来のリスク(以下、健康リスクという)を評価するシステムである。動物用健康リスク評価システム10が連携する動物病院11は、第1動物病院11A、第2動物病院11B、及び、第3動物病院11C等の複数の動物病院を含むことができる。すなわち、動物用健康リスク評価システム10は、1または複数の動物病院と連携することができる。本実施形態においては、動物用健康リスク評価システム10は、第1動物病院11A、第2動物病院11B、及び、第3動物病院11C等の複数の動物病院と連携する。
上記第1実施形態においては、評価の対象である動物の品種に応じた健康リスクの評価をしているが、さらに評価対象である動物の年齢を考慮することが好ましい。動物の品種によって好発疾患が異なる他、図10及び図11に示すように、動物の年齢によっても好発疾患が異なる場合があるからである。
上記第1実施形態、第2実施形態、及びこれらの変形例等においては、保険会社13が動物用医療保険について特約(従来の保険プランに対して付すことができる特約の他、新たに設定した保険プランを含む)を設けた場合、その情報は、保険会社13から動物病院11等を介して動物の飼主に渡る。このため、動物用健康リスク評価システム10は、保険会社13が設定した動物用医療保険についての特約を直接的には取得し得ないが、動物用健康リスク評価システム10は保険会社13から直接に特約の情報を得ることができる。
上記第1実施形態、第2実施形態、第3実施形態、及びこれらの変形例においては、動物用健康リスク評価システム10は、動物病院11及び保険会社13から独立したシステムである。しかし、動物用健康リスク評価システム10は、動物病院11または保険会社13のシステムの一部とすることができる。また、動物用健康リスク評価システム10を構成する各部を、動物病院11、保険会社13、またはその他の独立した装置もしくはシステムに分散して設けることができる。

Claims (13)
- 動物に対して行った検査の結果である検査値を取得する検査値取得部と、
前記動物の品種を特定する情報である品種データを取得する品種データ取得部と、
前記品種データと前記検査値とを関連付けて記憶する記憶部と、
評価対象である特定動物の前記品種データ及び前記検査値を用いて、前記特定動物の健康に係る将来のリスクを評価するリスク評価部と、
を備える動物用健康リスク評価システム。 - 前記検査値取得部は、1または複数の動物病院に設置した検査装置から直接的にまたは間接的に前記検査値を取得する請求項1に記載の動物用健康リスク評価システム。

- 前記リスク評価部は、評価をする現在から特定時間経過時点における前記リスクを評価する請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の動物用健康リスク評価システム。
- 前記リスク評価部は、前記検査値の推移を予測することにより前記リスクを評価する請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載の動物用健康リスク評価システム。
- 前記リスク評価部は、前記検査値の正常値範囲からの逸脱、及び/または、前記検査値の正常値範囲からの逸脱量によって前記リスクを評価する請求項6に記載の動物用健康リスク評価システム。
- 前記動物の年齢データを取得する年齢データ取得部を備え、
前記記憶部は、前記品種データ及び前記検査値に前記年齢データを関連付けて記憶し、かつ、前記リスク評価部は、前記記憶部が記憶する前記品種データ、前記検査値、及び前記年齢データを参照することにより、前記特定動物の前記リスクを評価する請求項1ないし7のいずれか1項に記載の動物用健康リスク評価システム。 - 前記リスク評価部が評価した前記リスクの評価値を、保険会社に提供するリスク評価値提供部を備える請求項1ないし8のいずれか1項に記載の動物用健康リスク評価システム。
- 前記リスクの評価値の提供を受けた前記保険会社が動物用医療保険について特約を設けた場合に、前記特約に係る情報を取得する特約情報取得部を備える請求項9に記載の動物用健康リスク評価システム。
- 前記特約に係る情報を動物病院に提供する特約情報提供部を備える請求項10に記載の動物用健康リスク評価システム。
- 動物に対して行った検査の結果である検査値と、前記動物の品種を特定する情報である品種データと、を関連付けて記憶するデータベースから前記検査値及び前記品種データを読み出し、前記データベースから読み出した前記検査値及び前記品種データと、評価対象である特定動物の品種データ及び検査値と、を用いて、前記特定動物の健康に係る将来のリスクを評価する処理をコンピュータに行わせる動物用健康リスク評価方法。
- 前記リスクに基づいた保険プラン及び/または特約を提示する処理をコンピュータに行わせる請求項12に記載の動物用健康リスク評価方法。
