Abstract
Description
以下、本発明の試験結果に基づき、本発明を詳しく説明する。
Claims (4)
- 鋼の連続鋳造に用いる銅または銅合金製鋳型銅板の、少なくとも鋳造中の溶湯のメニスカス位置を含む領域の内表面に複数の凹部を形成し、その凹部に鋳型銅板とは熱伝導率の異なる金属を充填し、その充填金属が2層以上の積層からなり、各層は凹部の底部から開口部へ向かって鋳型の内表面の法線方向に積層され、第2層以降がニッケルまたはニッケル基合金粉末をレーザー照射位置に供給しながらレーザーを照射し、粉末を溶融・凝固して形成した厚み0.2〜2mmのニッケル基合金層を、厚み1〜10mmに多層肉盛りした被覆層であることを特徴とする、連続鋳造用鋳型の製造方法。
- 第1層が厚み30〜500μmのニッケルめっき層あるいはニッケル7〜35質量%、残部コバルトのコバルト−ニッケル合金めっき層であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連続鋳造用鋳型の製造方法。
- 第1層のニッケルめっき層あるいはコバルト−ニッケル合金めっき層を形成した後、当該ニッケルめっき層あるいはコバルト−ニッケル合金めっき層にレーザーを照射してめっき層を溶融し、銅を1〜20質量%含有するニッケル−銅合金あるいはコバルト−ニッケル−銅合金を形成することを特徴とする請求項1および2に記載の連続鋳造用鋳型の製造方法。
- 鋳型銅板から銅の拡散により銅を1〜20質量%含有する第1層のニッケル−銅合金あるいはコバルト−ニッケル−銅合金を形成した後または形成すると同時に、第2層以降としてニッケルまたはニッケル基耐熱合金粉末を供給しながらレーザーを照射し、粉末を溶融・凝固させて形成したニッケル基合金層を多層肉盛りした被覆層を形成し、銅の含有量が1〜20質量%である前記第1層から最表面層に向けて段階的に減少する傾斜組成被覆層を形成することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の連続鋳造用鋳型の製造方法。
