Claims (14)
- レーザビーム(5)に対する放出側の端部を有するハウジング(2)と、前記ハウジング(2)内に設置されたボール(3)とを備える、レーザ透過溶着装置の光学ヘッド(1)であって、
前記ボール(3)は、屈折率が少なくとも1.6である材料から形成されていることを特徴とする光学ヘッド(1)。 - 前記ボール(3)は、屈折率が少なくとも1.7である材料から形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の光学ヘッド(1)。
- 前記ボール(3)の径は、15mm以下、好ましくは10mm以下であることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の光学ヘッド(1)。
- 前記ボール(3)を保持する、前記ハウジング(2)上に配置された拘束部(9)によって特徴付けられる、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の光学ヘッド(1)。
- 前記ボール(3)は前記ハウジング(2)の円筒状シャフト部分(4)内に摺動可能に設置されており、前記レーザビーム(5)が前記ボール(3)を照射する前に前記レーザビーム(5)を実質的にコリメートするように配置されたコリメートレンズ(7)によって特徴付けられる、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の光学ヘッド(1)。
- 前記コリメートレンズ(7)は、前記レーザビーム(5)が前記ボール(3)を照射する直前に前記レーザビーム(5)を実質的にコリメートするように、前記光学ヘッド(1)内に配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の光学ヘッド(1)。
- 前記コリメートレンズ(7)の設置高さ及び/又は特性及び条件によってスポットサイズ(18)が決定されることを特徴とする、請求項5又は6に記載の光学ヘッド(1)。
- 前記ボール(3)を設置するための空気軸受(10)が前記ハウジング(2)と連携し、前記空気軸受は、前記レーザビーム(5)の通路に供される開口部(11)を備え、前記レーザビーム(5)が届く前に前記レーザビーム(5)が前記ボール(3)上にフォーカスされるように前記ハウジング内に設計及び/又は配置された集束レンズ(8)によって特徴付けられる、請求項1〜5の少なくとも1項に記載の光学ヘッド(1)。
- 前記開口部は、径が最大4mm、好ましくは最大2mmの寸法であることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の光学ヘッド(1)。
- 前記空気軸受(10)は、前記開口部(11)に加えて、圧縮空気の通路に供される少なくとも1つの凹部(19)を備えることを特徴とする、請求項8又は9に記載の光学ヘッド(1)。
- ボール(3)を備える光学ヘッド(1)によるレーザ透過溶着によって2つの接合相手(13,14)を溶着する方法であって、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の光学ヘッド(1)を使用することを特徴とする方法。
- 前記コリメートレンズ(7)の設置高さ及び/又は特性及び条件によって前記レーザビーム(5)のスポットサイズ(18)を選択する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記レーザビームを、前記ボールを照射する直前にコリメートすることを特徴とする、請求項11又は12に記載の方法。
- 前記レーザビームを、前記レーザビームが前記ボールを照射する前にフォーカスすることを特徴とする、請求項11又は12に記載の方法。
