Abstract
Description

一実施形態によれば、振動触覚装置は、上部エンクロージャ110と、下部エンクロージャ160と、を含み、上部エンクロージャ110および下部エンクロージャ160は、電池120、フレキシブルプリント回路基板(PCB)130、1つ以上の隔離パッド140、および複数のアクチュエータ150を収容する。一実施形態によれば、振動触覚装置は、ストラップ170、マイクロホン180、および/または1つ以上の電子装置を入力するための1つ以上の入力チャネル190をさらに含むことができる。一実施形態によれば、触覚装置100は、ユーザの頭部、胸部、腕、足、および/または任意の他の適切な場所に配置するように構成することができる。一実施形態によれば、振動触覚装置100の制御システムの入力としては、角度の正しさ/誤りの程度、触覚ボリューム、周波数(例えば、「time_on」および「time_off」の関数としてのブリンク速度)、配向、触覚表現(例えば、特定の情報を通信するための慎重なメッセージ)、触覚エクスペリエンス(例えば、「触覚コリドー」)などの直観的なエクスペリエンス)、および/または任意の他の適切な入力を挙げることができる。
図14〜図15に示される実施形態によれば、頂部エンクロージャ110は、底部エンクロージャ160上で完全に囲まれる。一実施形態によれば、頂部エンクロージャ110は、展性の高いシリコン型から形成される。しかしながら、本発明の趣旨を維持しながら、任意の適切な材料を使用することができることに留意されたい。

複数のアクチュエータと、を備える装置。 - 前記プリント回路基板と、前記電池と、前記1つ以上の隔離パッドと、前記複数のアクチュエータを収容するように構成された筐体と、をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記プリント回路基板が、フレキシブルプリント回路基板である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記装置を前記ユーザに結合するためのストラップをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記電池が、充電式電池である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記隔離パッドが、前記アクチュエータを機械的に分離するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
