Abstract
Description
上述されたように、ディスプレイは、視覚形態で情報を提示するための出力装置である。ディスプレイにより、情報が、様々な視野角から閲覧することが可能になる。ディスプレイの視野角は、ディスプレイの視野角の中心に対して−45度から+45度であることができる。これにより、多数の人々がディスプレイに表示された情報を同時に閲覧することが可能になる。
Claims (15)
- ディスプレイでプライバシーを制御するためのシステムであって、
微小電気機械システム(MEMS)に回転可能に結合された発光ダイオード(LED)ピクセルと、
前記MEMSを制御するためのコントローラとを含み、前記MEMSは、LEDピクセルに関して前記ディスプレイでのプライバシーが維持されるように、そのLEDピクセルの視野角を変更するために前記コントローラにより発せられたコマンドに応答してLEDピクセルを回転させる、システム。 - 前記LEDピクセルは、青色LED、緑色LED、及び赤色LEDを収容するためのハウジングと、前記ハウジングの内壁に配置されたハウジング歯車を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記MEMSは、モータに接続されたモータ歯車を含み、前記コントローラにより発せられた前記コマンドに応答して前記モータが回転する際に、前記モータ歯車の歯が前記ハウジング歯車の歯と噛み合って前記LEDピクセルを回転させるようになっている、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラは、前記コントローラの入力源から入力を受け取るためのプロセッサ及びメモリを含み、その入力に基づいて、前記LEDピクセルを回転させるために前記MEMSに前記コマンドを発する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラの入力源は、押しボタン、回転ノブ、センサ、又はそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記LEDピクセルは、前記コントローラにより発せられた前記コマンドに応答して、前記MEMSによって−70度から+70度まで回転する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- ディスプレイ装置であって、
多数の発光ダイオード(LED)ピクセルと、
多数の微小電気機械システム(MEMS)であって、前記LEDピクセルのそれぞれが、前記MEMSの1つに回転可能に結合されている、多数のMEMSと、
前記MEMSのそれぞれを個別的に制御するためのコントローラとを含み、前記MEMSは、前記ディスプレイ装置のプライベートな閲覧が維持されるように、前記LEDピクセルの視野角を変更するために前記コントローラにより発せられた前記コマンドに応答してそれらLEDピクセルを選択的に回転させる、ディスプレイ装置。 - 前記MEMSは、前記ディスプレイ装置の全てのLEDピクセルに関して前記ディスプレイ装置のプライベートな閲覧が維持されるように、前記コントローラにより発せられた前記コマンドに応答して、前記LEDピクセルのそれぞれを或る角度に回転させる、請求項7に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記ディスプレイ装置の水平線と関連しているLEDピクセルは、前記ディスプレイ装置での前記水平線のプライベートな閲覧が維持されるように、前記ディスプレイ装置の鉛直線と関連しているLEDピクセルとは無関係に回転する、請求項7に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記ディスプレイ装置の鉛直線と関連しているLEDピクセルは、前記ディスプレイ装置での前記鉛直線のプライベートな閲覧が維持されるように、前記ディスプレイ装置の水平線と関連しているLEDピクセルとは無関係に回転する、請求項7に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記MEMSは、前記ディスプレイ装置の前記LEDピクセルの一部のプライベートな閲覧が維持されるように、前記コントローラにより発せられた前記コマンドに応答して、前記LEDピクセルの一部を回転させる、請求項7に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記コントローラの回転ノブからの入力を受け取るためのプロセッサ及びメモリを含み、その入力に基づいて、前記LEDピクセルを回転させるために前記MEMSに前記コマンドを発する、請求項7に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記LEDピクセルをユーザの方へ回転させるために前記MEMSに前記コマンドを発するように、前記ディスプレイ装置に対して前記ユーザの位置を検出するためのセンサを含む、請求項7に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- ディスプレイでのプライバシーを制御するための方法であって、
前記ディスプレイの発光ダイオード(LED)ピクセルの視野角を変更することになる入力を、コントローラの入力源を介して受け取り、
前記コントローラのプロセッサ及びメモリを用いて、前記LEDピクセルを回転させるために微小電気機械システム(MEMS)にコマンドを発し、
前記コマンドに基づいて、前記ディスプレイのプライベートな閲覧が維持されるように、前記MEMSによって前記LEDピクセルを回転させることを含む、方法。 - 前記LEDピクセルは、前記コントローラにより発せられた前記コマンドに応答して、前記MEMSによって−70度から+70度まで回転する、請求項14に記載の方法。
