Description
本願は、米国特許法第119条(e)の下で、参照により本願に組み込まれる2017年3月17日出願の米国仮特許出願第62/472,983号に基づく優先権を主張する。
Claims (14)
- 原子炉の燃料集合体(10)の下部ノズル(12)に使用される基部(104)であって、
頂面(104b)と、
底面(104a)と、
当該底面と当該頂面の間を延びるほぼ正方形の格子状パターン配列の複数の垂直な壁部分(106)と
を具備し、
当該複数の垂直な壁部分(106)は当該底面と当該頂面の間で当該基部を貫通する複数の非円形流路(109)を画定することを特徴とする基部(104)。 - 請求項1の基部であって、
各々が前記垂直な壁部分の交差部に位置する複数の厚壁領域(107)と、
各々が対応する厚壁領域に位置する複数の流路孔(108)と
をさらに具備する請求項1の基部。 - 前記流路孔の各々は、前記基部の前記底面に位置するテイパー付き流入口(108a)と、前記基部の前記頂面に位置するテイパー付き流出口(108b)とを具備することを特徴とする、請求項2の基部。
- 各々が当該ばね部材の対応する壁部分の上縁から上方に延びる高さ(h2)の複数のばね部材(120)をさらに具備し、各ばね部材は前記燃料集合体の2本の燃料棒(102)に係合する構成であることを特徴とする、請求項3の基部。
- 前記ばね部材の各々は、前記2本の燃料棒のうちの一方と係合する構成の第1のばね状付勢部分(122)と、当該第1のばね状付勢部分に対向し、前記2本の燃料棒のうちのもう一方と係合する構成の第2のばね状付勢部分(124)とを含むことを特徴とする、請求項4の基部。
- 前記第1のばね状付勢部分および前記第2のばね状付勢部分はいずれもほぼ弓状である、請求項5の基部。
- 各々が前記複数の流路のうちの対応する1つの流路をほぼカバーするように前記基部上に配置された複数の異物フィルタ(140)をさらに具備する、請求項1または請求項3の基部。
- 前記異物フィルタの各々は、格子構造(142)を有する、中空で角錐状または円錐状の構造体より成り、当該格子構造は貫流する冷却材の流れに対する抵抗が最小となるような大きさおよび構成を有し、前記基部から上方に延びることを特徴とする、請求項7の基部。
- 前記異物フィルタの各々の前記格子構造は、前記基部の真上または真下から見ると正方形の格子状パターン配列である、請求項8の基部。
- 前記基部および前記複数のばね部材は単体として形成される、請求項4の基部。
- 前記基部および前記複数の異物フィルタは単体として形成される、請求項7の基部。
- 前記基部、前記複数の異物フィルタおよび前記複数のばね部材は単体として形成される、請求項7の基部。
- 原子炉の燃料集合体に使用する下部ノズル組立体であって、
ほぼ矩形のスカート部と、
当該ほぼ矩形の基部に結合された請求項1の平板状の基部と
を具備する下部ノズル組立体。 - 原子炉に使用される燃料集合体であって、
請求項13の下部ノズル組立体と、
上部ノズルと、
当該下部ノズルと当該上部ノズルの間を長手方向に延びてそれらに結合された多数の案内管と、
当該上部ノズルと当該下部ノズルの間を延びる細長い燃料棒のアレイと
を具備する燃料集合体。
