Description

The present invention relates to a green tire holding device for temporarily holding a molded green tire.

In the manufacturing process of a pneumatic tire, various rubber materials are combined to form a green tire (unvulcanized tire), and the molded green tire is supplied to a vulcanizer for vulcanization. The molded green tire is temporarily held by the holding device until it is supplied to the vulcanizer. In some cases, the holding device is configured as a carrier so that the molded green tire can be transported to the vulcanizer (for example, Patent Document 1).

The green tire is held in a vertical position with the tire axial direction oriented horizontally, or in a horizontal position with the tire axial direction oriented vertically. When the green tire is held in a vertically placed state, it is conceivable to suspend the green tire by using a bar or the like arranged horizontally (for example, Patent Document 2). However, the green tire held in this way is easily deformed by its own weight with the passage of time, and there is a concern that the uniformity of the product tire after vulcanization may be deteriorated.

When the green tire is held in a horizontal position, it is conceivable to place the green tire 9 on the ring-shaped member 8 as shown in FIG. 8 (for example, Patent Document 3). The ring-shaped member 8 is made of metal or plastic. The bead portion 91 of the green tire 9 facing downward is arranged in the central hole portion 81. In this method, when the outer diameter D1 of the bead portion 91 fluctuates according to the size and type of the tire, the bead portion 91 may improperly interfere with the ring-shaped member 8, and therefore the tire surface is deformed (dented). ) And trauma.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a green tire holding device capable of suppressing deformation and occurrence of trauma of a green tire held in a horizontal position.

The above object can be achieved by the present invention as described below. That is, the green tire holding device according to the present invention includes a cloth material on which the green tire is placed horizontally and a support member that supports the cloth material in a horizontally spread state. It has an fitting hole into which the bead portion of the green tire facing downward is fitted, and a slit formed through the peripheral edge of the fitting hole in the thickness direction.

In this device, green tires are placed horizontally on a cloth material that is supported in a horizontally spread state. By fitting the bead portion facing downward into the fitting hole, the approximate position of the green tire with respect to the cloth material is determined. Further, since the slit is formed, the peripheral edge portion of the fitting hole bends downward in accordance with the green tire, and can appropriately cope with the outer diameters of various bead portions. As a result, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of deformation and trauma of the green tire held in the horizontal position.

It is preferable that the four or more slits are arranged at substantially equal intervals. As a result, the peripheral edge of the fitting hole is easily flexed appropriately and evenly, and the deformation of the green tire and the occurrence of trauma can be suppressed more effectively.

It is preferable that a plurality of the support members are arranged side by side in the vertical direction, and the support members located above the support members are vertically rotatable. As a result, a plurality of green tires can be efficiently loaded. Further, by rotating the support member located above the support member up and down, it is easy to put in and take out the green tire in the support member located below the support member.

By having the casters, the green tire holding device is configured as a transport trolley. As a result, the molded green tire can be transported to the vulcanizer and smoothly transition to the vulcanization process.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 shows a green tire 9 held by a green tire holding device described later. The green tire 9 has the tire axial direction directed up and down, and the left-right direction and the up-down direction in FIG. 1 correspond to the tire radial direction and the tire width direction, respectively. The green tire 9 has a pair of bead portions 91, a pair of sidewall portions 92 extending outward in the tire radial direction from each of the bead portions 91, and a tread portion connected to each tire radial outer end of the sidewall portion 92. It is equipped with 93. Inside the green tire 9, an annular bead core 91a arranged in the bead portion 91 and a reinforcing layer such as a carcass or a belt (not shown) are embedded.

In the green tire 9 before vulcanization, the bead portion 91 is curved outward in the tire width direction. The outer diameter D1 (see FIG. 8) of the bead portion 91 can vary variously depending on the size and type of the tire. A product tire is obtained by supplying the green tire 9 to a vulcanizer and performing vulcanization. The outer surface shape of the product tire is defined by the mold built into the vulcanizer. In the product tire after vulcanization, each bead portion 91 has a shape that is gently curved inward in the tire width direction.

The green tire 9 is molded by combining various rubber materials. The green tire 9 in the unvulcanized state is flexible and easily deformed. In particular, the green tire 9 molded by the ribbon winding method keeps a high temperature state for a while after molding, and is easily deformed by the weight of the tire or an external factor. The ribbon winding method is a method in which an unvulcanized rubber ribbon is continuously supplied to a rotary support such as a molding drum, and the rubber ribbon is spirally wound to form a rubber member having a desired shape.

The molded green tire 9 is temporarily held by the green tire holding device 1 (hereinafter, may be simply referred to as “holding device 1”) shown in FIGS. 2 to 5 until it is supplied to the vulcanizer. Will be done. The holding device 1 includes a cloth material 2 and a support member 3 that supports the cloth material 2 in a horizontally spread state. As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the green tire 9 is placed on the cloth material 2 in a horizontal position with the tire axial direction facing up and down. The cloth material 2 has a fitting hole 21 into which the bead portion 91 of the green tire 9 facing downward is fitted, and a slit 22 formed through the peripheral edge of the fitting hole 21 in the thickness direction (vertical direction). ..

According to the holding device 1, the downwardly facing bead portion 91 is fitted into the fitting hole 21, so that the approximate position of the green tire 9 with respect to the cloth material 2 is determined. At that time, the peripheral edge portion 23 (see FIG. 4) along the periphery of the fitting hole 21 may come into contact with the outer surface of the bead portion 91. Further, since the slit 22 is formed, the peripheral edge portion 23 of the fitting hole 21 bends downward in accordance with the green tire 9 as shown in FIG. 7, and the outer diameter D1 of the bead portion 91 depends on the tire size and type. Can be dealt with appropriately even if As a result, deformation and trauma of the green tire 9 held in the horizontal position are suppressed.

The cloth material 2 is formed in the form of a sheet having a thickness t smaller than its horizontal dimension. The thickness t of the cloth material 2 is, for example, 2.0 to 6.0 mm. The cloth material 2 is formed in a circular shape, but is not limited to this, and may be, for example, a rectangular shape. Canvas is preferably used as the cloth material 2. As the canvas, for example, a rubber material such as natural rubber or styrene-butadiene rubber, an organic fiber cord such as polyester cord, and a composite of cotton canvas are used. However, the material of the cloth material 2 is not particularly limited as long as the green tire 9 can be held as described above.

In the present embodiment, the fitting hole 21 is formed in a circular shape. The diameter D2 of the fitting hole 21 is larger than the outer diameter D1 of the bead portion 91, but is not limited to this. The slit 22 extends outward in the tire radial direction from the peripheral edge of the fitting hole 21. The length of the slit 22 is set to, for example, 50 to 150 mm. From the viewpoint of appropriately bending the peripheral edge portion 23, the length of the slit 22 is preferably 10% or more of the size of the fitting hole 21 (that is, the diameter D2) measured along the length direction thereof. Further, the length of the slit 22 is preferably 25% or less of the diameter D2 so that the green tire 9 can be appropriately held.

It is preferable that a plurality of slits 22 are arranged at substantially equal intervals in the tire circumferential direction in the cloth material 2. The peripheral edge portion 23 is divided into a plurality of regions by slits 22, and each of them bends along the outer surface of the green tire 9 so as to hang down like a tongue piece. In order to make it easier to flex the peripheral edge portion 23 appropriately and evenly, the number of the slits 22 arranged radially is preferably four or more, more preferably six or more, and further preferably eight or more. Further, the number of slits 22 is preferably 18 or less, and more preferably 12 or less so that the peripheral edge portion 23 is not excessively soft.

The support member 3 fixes the outer edge portion of the cloth material 2 by an annular fixing frame 31, and supports the cloth material 2 in an appropriately stretched state. The fixed frame 31 is formed in a circular shape, but is not limited to this, and may be, for example, a rectangular shape. The support member 3 is made of, for example, metal. In this holding device 1, a plurality of (three in this embodiment) support members 3 are arranged one above the other. For convenience of explanation, these are referred to as support members 3a, 3b, 3c to distinguish them. The support members 3a to 3c are mounted on the airframe frame 4, respectively. The airframe frame 4 is made of a metal pipe material or a pillar material.

The airframe frame 4 has an underframe portion 41 having a rectangular shape in a plan view, and an upright portion 42 rising from the underframe portion 41. A support member 3c located at the lowermost position is attached to the underframe portion 41. The remaining support members 3a and 3b are attached to the upright portion 42 via the arm 32 and the bearing unit 33, respectively. The bearing unit 33 includes a rotating shaft 33a extending in the horizontal direction, and the support members 3a and 3b can be rotated around the axis of the rotating shaft 32a. Therefore, in the present embodiment, among the plurality of support members 3, the support members 3a and 3b located relatively upward are configured to be vertically rotatable.

By rotating the support member 3a upward as shown by the broken line in FIG. 2, the upper part of the support member 3b located below the support member 3a is opened, and the green tire 9 can be easily taken in and out. The support member 3a is displaced between the horizontal posture in which the green tire 9 is placed and the open posture in which the green tire 9 is rotated upward. The holding device 1 has a gas spring 34 as an urging member that urges the support member 3a toward the open posture, and a fastener (not shown) that locks the support member 3a in the horizontal posture. When the fastener is operated to release the lock, the support member 3a is rotated upward by the urging force of the gas spring 34. The support member 3b is also configured in the same manner.

The holding device 1 of the present embodiment has casters 5 and is configured as a transport carriage. The casters 5 are provided at the lower part of the airframe frame 4. As a result, the molded green tire 9 can be transported to the vulcanizer by the holding device 1 and smoothly transition from the green tire molding process to the vulcanization process. Further, the holding device 1 is provided with a handle 6 for the operator to grip. It is also possible to provide a connecting tool for connecting to the towing vehicle or another holding device towed by the towing vehicle in the upright portion 42 so that the holding device 1 can be towed and moved.

In the present embodiment, the holding device 1 can mount one green tire 9 on each of the three-stage support members 3 arranged one above the other, so to speak, three green tires 9 can be loaded. It has a structure of "three steps x one". As a modification, a plurality of fixed frames 31 may be arranged side by side in the horizontal direction so that one support member 3 can hold a plurality of green tires 9. In that case, the holding device has, for example, a "three-stage x two" configuration capable of loading six green tires, or a "four-stage x three" configuration capable of loading twelve green tires. It is possible that it will happen.

The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various improvements and changes can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
