圧力ブラダー(300)と一つ以上の加熱面(230)の少なくとも一つが複数の支持挿入体(400)の各々を支持して受ける複数のキャビティ(236、336)を備え、各支持挿入体(400)が、コンソリデーション圧力とキャビティ(236、336)の物理的制約に応じてその中に含まれている各熱可塑性補強用素子(502)に圧密圧力を印加する、項D1に記載の方法。
複数の熱可塑性補強用素子(502)が、複数の支持挿入体(400)内に配置された際に部分的にコンソリデーションされた(タッキングされた)プリフォーム状態であり、各支持挿入体(400)が、コンソリデーション圧力が印加された際に各熱可塑性補強用素子(502)に圧密圧力を印加して、熱可塑性補強用素子(502)を完全にコンソリデーションする、項D1又は項D2に記載の方法。
複数の熱可塑性補強用素子(502)が、揃えられたスカーフ継ぎ接合界面を有する個別セグメントであり、個別セグメントが、コンソリデーション圧力が印加された際にスカーフ継ぎ接合界面に沿って互いに溶融する、項D3に記載の方法。
一つ以上の熱可塑性部品を受けて、一つ以上の熱可塑性部品にコンソリデーション温度を印加する一つ以上の加熱面を備える加熱アセンブリと、加熱アセンブリ内に配置され、一つ以上の熱可塑性部品にコンソリデーション圧力を印加する圧力ブラダーと、加熱アセンブリ内に配置され、一つ以上の熱可塑性部品のうちの少なくとも一つを支持する支持挿入体とを備え、圧力ブラダーと支持挿入体とのうちの少なくとも一つが熱伝導性であり、支持挿入体が、一つ以上の熱可塑性部品のうちの少なくとも一つを支持して少なくとも部分的に取り囲むような形状に構成され、一つ以上の加熱面と圧力ブラダーのうちの少なくとも一つが支持挿入体を受けて支持するような形状にされている、ココンソリデーションツール。
圧力ブラダーが、圧力ブラダーが加圧された際に一つ以上の熱可塑性部品を共に圧着するように構成され、圧力ブラダーが、圧力ブラダーが加圧された際に一つ以上の加熱面のうちの少なくとも一つに接触している一つ以上の熱可塑性部品を圧着するように構成されている、項E1に記載のココンソリデーションツール。
支持挿入体が、圧力ブラダーが加圧された際に支持挿入体内の熱可塑性部品に圧密圧力を印加する、項E1又は項E2に記載のココンソリデーションツール。
熱可塑性補強用素子と一体成形された熱可塑性機体スキンを形成するためのココンソリデーションツールであって、熱可塑性機体スキンと一つ以上の熱可塑性補強用素子とを受けて、コンソリデーション温度を印加する一つ以上の加熱面を備える加熱アセンブリと、加熱アセンブリ内に配置され、熱可塑性機体スキンと一つ以上の熱可塑性補強用素子にコンソリデーション圧力を印加する圧力ブラダーと、加熱アセンブリ内に配置され、一つ以上の熱可塑性補強用素子を支持して少なくとも部分的に取り囲む複数の支持挿入体とを備え、圧力ブラダーと複数の支持挿入体が熱伝導性である、ココンソリデーションツール。
圧力ブラダーが、圧力ブラダーが加圧された際に熱可塑性機体スキンと一つ以上の熱可塑性補強用素子を共に圧着するように構成され、圧力ブラダーが、圧力ブラダーが加圧された際に一つ以上の加熱面のうちの少なくとも一つに接触している一つ以上の熱可塑性補強用素子と熱可塑性機体スキンを圧着するように構成されている、項F1に記載のココンソリデーションツール。
複数の支持挿入体が、圧力ブラダーが加圧された際に支持挿入体内の各熱可塑性補強用素子に圧密圧力を印加する、項F2に記載のココンソリデーションツール。
圧力ブラダーが、複数の支持挿入体を受けて支持するような形状にされた複数のキャビティを備え、前記複数の支持挿入体が、圧力ブラダーが加圧された際に、加圧された圧力ブラダーによって印加されるコンソリデーション圧力と複数のキャビティの物理的制約に応じてその中に含まれている各熱可塑性補強用素子に圧密圧力を印加する、項F2又は項F3に記載のココンソリデーションツール。
加熱アセンブリ内に配置された際に、圧力ブラダーと複数の熱伝導性の支持挿入体と一つ以上の熱可塑性補強用素子が、加熱アセンブリ内に熱可塑性機体スキンを支持するように構成された支持面を画定する、項F4に記載のココンソリデーションツール。
一つ以上の加熱面のうちの少なくとも一つが、複数の支持挿入体を受けて支持するような形状にされた複数のキャビティを備え、複数の支持挿入体が、圧力ブラダーが加圧された際に、加圧された圧力ブラダーによって印加されるコンソリデーション圧力と複数のキャビティの物理的制約に応じてその中に含まれている各熱可塑性補強用素子に圧密圧力を印加する、項F3から項F5のいずれか一項に記載のココンソリデーションツール。
加熱アセンブリ内に配置された際に、複数の熱伝導性の支持挿入体と一つ以上の熱可塑性補強用素子が、複数のキャビティを備える一つ以上の加熱面のうちの少なくとも一つの頂面と共に、加熱アセンブリ内に熱可塑性機体スキンを支持するように構成された支持面を画定する、項F6に記載のココンソリデーションツール。
回転マンドレルを更に備え、一つ以上の加熱面のうちの少なくとも一つが回転マンドレルによって支持される、項F3から項F7のいずれか一項に記載のココンソリデーションツール。
熱可塑性部品をコンソリデーションするための方法であって、加熱アセンブリ内に圧力ブラダーを配置することと、圧力ブラダーの上方に第一熱可塑性部品を配置することと、支持挿入体内に第二熱可塑性部品を配置することと、加熱アセンブリ内に支持挿入体を配置することと、コンソリデーション圧力と温度を印加することとを備え、支持挿入体が第二熱可塑性部品を支持して少なくとも部分的に取り囲む形状に構成される、方法。
加熱アセンブリが一つ以上の加熱面を備え、圧力ブラダーが、コンソリデーション圧力が印加された際に一つ以上の加熱面のうちの少なくとも一つと接触している第二熱可塑性部品と第一熱可塑性部品を圧着するように構成される、項G1に記載の方法。

圧力ブラダーと一つ以上の加熱面のうちの少なくとも一つが、複数の支持挿入体を支持して受ける複数のキャビティを備え、支持挿入体が、コンソリデーション圧力とキャビティの物理的制約に応じてその中に含まれている熱可塑性補強用素子に圧密圧力を印加する、項H1に記載の方法。

- 熱可塑性補強用素子と一体成形された熱可塑性機体スキンを形成するためのココンソリデーションツールであって、
熱可塑性機体スキンと一つ以上の熱可塑性補強用素子を受けてコンソリデーション温度を印加する一つ以上の加熱面を備える加熱アセンブリと、
前記加熱アセンブリ内に配置され、前記熱可塑性機体スキンと前記一つ以上の熱可塑性補強用素子にコンソリデーション圧力を印加する圧力ブラダーと、
前記加熱アセンブリ内に配置され、前記一つ以上の熱可塑性補強用素子を支持して少なくとも部分的に取り囲む複数の支持挿入体と、を備え、
前記圧力ブラダーと前記複数の支持挿入体が熱伝導性である、ココンソリデーションツール。 - 前記圧力ブラダーが、前記圧力ブラダーが加圧された際に前記熱可塑性機体スキンと前記一つ以上の熱可塑性補強用素子を共に圧着するように構成され、
前記圧力ブラダーが、前記圧力ブラダーが加圧された際に前記一つ以上の加熱面のうちの少なくとも一つと接触している前記一つ以上の熱可塑性補強用素子と前記熱可塑性機体スキンを圧着するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のココンソリデーションツール。 - 前記複数の支持挿入体が、前記圧力ブラダーが加圧された際に該支持挿入体内の各熱可塑性補強用素子に圧密圧力を印加するように構成されている、請求項2に記載のココンソリデーションツール。
- 前記圧力ブラダーが、前記複数の支持挿入体を受けて支持するような形状にされた複数のキャビティを備え、
前記複数の支持挿入体が、前記圧力ブラダーが加圧された際に、加圧された前記圧力ブラダーによって印加されるコンソリデーション圧力と前記複数のキャビティの物理的制約に応じて該支持挿入体内に含まれる各熱可塑性補強用素子に圧密圧力を印加するように構成されている、請求項2又は3に記載のココンソリデーションツール。 - 前記加熱アセンブリ内に配置された前記圧力ブラダーと前記複数の支持挿入体と前記一つ以上の熱可塑性補強用素子が、前記加熱アセンブリ内に前記熱可塑性機体スキンを支持するように構成された支持面を画定する、請求項4に記載のココンソリデーションツール。
- 前記一つ以上の加熱面のうちの少なくとも一つが、前記複数の支持挿入体を受けて支持するような形状にされた複数のキャビティを備え、
前記複数の支持挿入体が、前記圧力ブラダーが加圧された際に、加圧された前記圧力ブラダーによって印加されるコンソリデーション圧力と前記複数のキャビティの物理的制約に応じて該支持挿入体内に含まれる各熱可塑性補強用素子に圧密圧力を印加するように構成されている、請求項3から5のいずれか一項に記載のココンソリデーションツール。 - 前記加熱アセンブリ内に配置された前記複数の支持挿入体と前記一つ以上の熱可塑性補強用素子が、前記複数のキャビティを備える前記一つ以上の加熱面のうちの少なくとも一つと共に、前記加熱アセンブリ内に前記熱可塑性機体スキンを支持するように構成された支持面を画定する、請求項6に記載のココンソリデーションツール。
- 回転マンドレルを更に備え、
前記一つ以上の加熱面のうちの少なくとも一つが前記回転マンドレルによって支持されている、請求項3から7のいずれか一項に記載のココンソリデーションツール。 - 熱可塑性補強用素子と一体成形された熱可塑性機体スキンを形成するための方法であって、
一つ以上の加熱面を備える加熱アセンブリ内に圧力ブラダーを配置することと、
前記圧力ブラダーの上方に熱可塑性機体スキンを配置することと、
複数の支持挿入体内に複数の熱可塑性補強用素子を配置することと、
前記加熱アセンブリ内に前記複数の支持挿入体を配置することと、
コンソリデーション圧力とコンソリデーション温度を印加することと、を備え、
各支持挿入体が、各熱可塑性補強用素子を支持して少なくとも部分的に取り囲むような形状に構成され、
前記圧力ブラダーが、前記コンソリデーション圧力が印加された際に、前記熱可塑性機体スキンと前記複数の熱可塑性補強用素子を共に圧着するように構成され、
前記圧力ブラダーが、前記コンソリデーション圧力が印加された際に、前記一つ以上の加熱面のうちの少なくとも一つに接触している前記複数の熱可塑性補強用素子と前記熱可塑性機体スキンを圧着するように構成され、
前記支持挿入体が、前記コンソリデーション圧力が印加された際に、前記熱可塑性補強用素子に圧密圧力を印加する、方法。 - 前記圧力ブラダーと前記一つ以上の加熱面のうちの少なくとも一つが、前記複数の支持挿入体を支持して受ける複数のキャビティを備え、
前記支持挿入体が、前記コンソリデーション圧力と前記複数のキャビティの物理的制約に応じて該支持挿入体内に含まれる前記熱可塑性補強用素子に圧密圧力を印加する、請求項9に記載の方法。 - 前記複数の熱可塑性補強用素子が、前記複数の支持挿入体内に配置される際に部分的にコンソリデーションされた及び/又はタッキングされたプリフォーム状態にあり、
前記支持挿入体が、前記コンソリデーション圧力が印加された際に、前記熱可塑性補強用素子に圧密圧力を印加して、前記熱可塑性補強用素子を完全にコンソリデーションする、請求項9又は10に記載の方法。
