Description

The present invention relates to a dust cap for an eye joint.

Eye joint metal fittings are used together with eye bolts (union bolts) to connect hoses and the like to equipment.
In many cases, the eye joint fitting includes a metal eye joint body through which an eye bolt insertion hole is formed, and a tube body protruding from the eye joint body and connected to a hose.
The eyebolts are formed at a flow path extending inside the shaft portion and a shaft portion located inside the eyebolt insertion hole with the eyebolt inserted into the eyebolt insertion hole, and communicate with the flow path. It has an opening of 1 and a second opening formed on the tip surface of the shaft portion and the outer peripheral surface of the shaft portion protruding from the eyebolt insertion hole and communicating with the flow path.

Both ends of the eyebolt insertion hole in the extending direction are formed with an inner diameter through which the shaft portion of the eyebolt is inserted, and are opened as openings on both end faces of the eye joint body. It is formed as a large-diameter portion having an inner diameter larger than that of the opening so that it can easily communicate with the first opening of the eyebolt.
To attach the eye joint metal fitting to the device side, one end face portion of the end face portions on both sides of the eye joint body is placed on the device side surface via an annular seal member, and the ring seal is provided on the other end face portion. The eyebolt is inserted into the eyebolt insertion hole of the eye joint body with the member mounted, the lower surface of the head of the eyebolt is elastically contacted with the other end face portion via the seal member, and the male screw of the shaft portion of the eyebolt is a device. It is done by being screwed into the female screw on the side.
Therefore, since the end faces on both sides of the eye joint body provided with the opening of the eye bolt insertion hole of the eye joint body serve as a sealing surface, if scratches or the like are made, it may cause fluid leakage during use.
