Description

The present invention relates to a removal jig.

A pipe joint having a lock claw for connecting a pipe body such as a pipe with one touch and a release member for releasing the pipe body from the lock claw is known. In order to prevent unintentional detachment of the tubular body from the lock claw due to an erroneous operation, it has been proposed to adopt a structure that does not expose the release member to the outside. There has been proposed a removal jig that improves the workability of an intentional removal work of a pipe body connected to such a pipe joint (see Patent Document 1).

Although the workability of the removal work has been improved by the removal jig proposed in Patent Document 1, in order to remove the pipe body, it is necessary for the operator to maintain the state in which the removal jig is pressed against the pipe joint. In particular, when a pipe joint is used in a narrow region, it has been found that it is difficult to maintain the pressure of the removal jig, and further workability improvement has been demanded.

Therefore, an object of the present invention made in view of such circumstances is to provide a removal jig that improves the workability of the work of removing the pipe body from the pipe joint.

In order to solve the above-described problems, the removal jig of the present invention includes a claw portion that engages with an outer surface of the tube body when a force for pulling out the tube body is applied, and prevents the tube body from being pulled out, A pipe body inserted into a pipe joint comprising: a release part that releases engagement of the claw part with the outer surface of the pipe body when moving toward the claw part side along the axial direction; And a semi-cylindrical main body portion that can be attached to the outer periphery of the pipe joint, and provided in the main body portion, and when the pipe joint is attached to the main body portion, Opposing and provided in the main body part, a pressing part that can press the releasing part so as to move the releasing part to the claw part side along the axial direction, and the pressing part pressed the releasing part and lockable locking portion to said fitting state, radially outward of said body portion, spread from the body portion Possess a planar projection projecting in a direction, and at the projecting portion, the radially outer end of the body portion, the direction for moving the releasing portion along the axial direction on the claw portion It protrudes on the opposite side to. According to the removal jig of the present invention, the workability of the work of removing the pipe body from the pipe joint is improved.

According to this invention comprised as mentioned above, the removal jig | tool which improves the workability | operativity of the removal operation | work from the pipe joint of a pipe body can be provided.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

First, an example of a pipe joint that allows a pipe body to be removed by a removal jig according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 1 is a half-cut sectional view along an axial direction (hereinafter sometimes simply referred to as “axial direction”) AD of a pipe joint 10 showing the pipe joint 10 of the example in a state where a pipe body 11 is inserted. .

As shown in FIG. 1, the pipe joint 10 includes a joint main body portion 12, a limiting member 13, a seal member 14, a ring member 15, a lock member 16, and a release portion 17.

The joint body 12 can be made of, for example, resin, gun metal, or bronze, and has a cylindrical element 18.
The limiting member 13 can be made of resin, for example, and is generally cylindrical. The limiting member 13 is fixed to the cylindrical element 18 in a state where the cylindrical element 18 of the joint body 12 is inserted from one end of the limiting member 13.
The seal member 14 is, for example, an O-ring, and is accommodated inside the cylindrical element 18 of the joint main body 12. The cylindrical element 18 and the inside of the tube body 11 are sealed tightly.
The ring member 15 can be made of, for example, resin, and has a generally cylindrical shape. When the pipe body 11 is inserted into the pipe joint 10 and fluid internal pressure is applied, the ring member 15 is connected to the joint main body 12. The seal member 14 is held at a certain position.
The pipe body 11 inserted into the pipe joint 10 is, for example, a resin pipe or hose used in a residential water supply or hot water supply pipe system. Used to connect to pipes and pipes.

The lock member 16 is formed in a generally annular shape from an elastic material, for example, stainless steel, and a cross section of the lock member 16 cut along the axial direction AD has a lateral V-shape. The lock member 16 is accommodated in the restricting member 13 with the V-shaped bent side facing the opposite side in the axial direction from the ring member 15 side. A V-shaped tip portion on the inner peripheral side of the lock member 16 constitutes a claw portion 19. When the tube body 11 is pushed into the inner periphery of the lock member 16 from the V-shaped bent side of the cross section of the lock member 16, the lock member 16 is elastically deformed so that the claw portion 19 spreads radially outward. The body 11 can be inserted. On the other hand, when a force for pulling out the tube body 11 is applied to the V-shaped bent side of the cross section of the lock member 16, engagement of the claw portion 19 to the outer surface of the tube body 11, for example, a tube body having a uniform outer diameter 11 is prevented from being pulled out from the lock member 16 by the biting of the claw 19 into the outer surface of the tube 11 or the engagement of the claw 19 with the annular groove formed in the outer peripheral surface of the tube 11. The

The release portion 17 can be made of resin, for example, and includes a cylindrical element 20 and a taper element 21. The cylindrical element 20 and the taper element 21 are continuous and have the same inner diameter, and have holes through which the tube body 11 can be inserted. The outer diameter of the cylindrical element 20 is substantially the same as or slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the end of the restricting member 13 on the side opposite to the end engaged with the joint main body 12. It is slidable along the axial direction inside. The outer diameter of the taper element 21 is a taper shape that expands from one end of the release portion 17 toward the center along the axial direction, and the maximum outer diameter of the taper element 21 is larger than the outer diameter of the cylindrical element 20. Thus, the release portion 17 is prevented from detaching from the inside of the limiting member 13. When the release portion 17 of this example moves to the claw portion side along the axial direction, the taper element 21 is press-fitted into the claw portion 19 of the lock member 16, and the claw portion 19 is spread outward in the radial direction. The engagement of the 19 tube bodies 11 to the outer surface is released.

Next, the structure of the removal jig according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the removal jig 22 according to the present embodiment. FIG. 3 is a side view of the removal jig 22 as viewed from the direction A in FIG. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the removal jig 22 includes a main body portion 23, a pressing portion 24, and a locking portion 25. The removal jig 22 is integrally formed of, for example, a resin such as polypropylene, polyacetal, polyethylene, or nylon.

In the present embodiment, the main body 23 of the removal jig 22 has a semi-cylindrical side element 26 with a part cut away, and a cylindrical element radially inward from one end in the axial direction of the side element 26. It has a semicircular bottom element 27 that extends and can be mounted on the outer periphery of the pipe joint 10.

In this embodiment, the pressing portion 24 has a semi-cylindrical shape, and the cylindrical wall surface extends inward in the axial direction on the inner peripheral side of the bottom element 27 of the main body portion 23 of the removing jig 22. It is provided in the main body 23. The pressing portion 24 faces the release portion 17 of the pipe joint 10 in the axial direction AD in a state where the main body portion 23 of the removal jig 22 is mounted on the outer periphery of the pipe joint 10, and the release portion 17 along the axial direction AD. The release portion 17 can be pressed so as to move inward in the axial direction, that is, toward the claw portion 19 side.

In this embodiment, the locking portion 25 is provided in the vicinity of the opening end of the main body portion 23 of the removal jig 22, that is, the end opposite to the one end where the bottom element 27 is provided, and the cylindrical shape of the side element 26. It has a circular arc shape extending radially inward. The locking part 25 can be locked to the pipe joint 10 in a state where the pressing part 24 presses the release part 17 of the pipe joint 10.

Next, in this embodiment, the operation | work which removes the pipe body 11 inserted in the pipe joint 10 using the removal jig | tool 22 is demonstrated. FIG. 4 is a half-cut sectional view showing the pipe joint 10, the pipe body 11, and the removal jig 22 in a state in which the removal jig 22 is attached to the pipe joint 10 into which the pipe body 11 is inserted. FIG. 5 is a half-cut sectional view showing the pipe joint 10, the pipe body 11, and the removal jig 22 with the removal jig 22 attached to the pipe joint 10 into which the pipe body 11 is inserted.

As shown in FIG. 4, the removal jig 22 is first pushed into the outer surface of the pipe joint 10 along the axial direction AD while elastically deforming the removal jig 22 so as to expand the side element 26 of the main body 23. As shown in FIG. 5, when the removal jig 22 is pushed into the pipe joint 10, the locking portion 25 of the removal jig 22 is engaged with the end face of the limiting member 13 in a state where the removal jig 22 is restored from the elastic deformation. The pipe joint 10 is locked. In the state where the locking portion 25 is locked to the pipe joint 10, the pressing portion 24 of the removal jig 22 presses the release portion 17 of the pipe joint 10 in the axial direction, that is, the release portion 17 is The state of moving inward in the axial direction within the pipe joint 10 is maintained. By the movement of the release portion 17, the taper element 21 widens the claw portion 19 outward in the radial direction, and the engagement of the claw portion 19 with the tube body 11 is released. Therefore, the pipe body 11 can be removed from the pipe joint 10 by pulling the pipe body 11 outward in the axial direction in this state.

As described above, when the removal jig of the present embodiment is used, the pressing of the release portion 17 by the pressing portion 24 is maintained in a state where the locking portion 25 is locked to the pipe joint 10. Therefore, if the locking portion 25 is locked to the pipe joint 10, it becomes unnecessary to maintain the pushing of the removal jig 22 by the operator during the pulling-out operation of the pipe body 11 from the pipe joint 10. Therefore, according to the removal jig 22 of the present embodiment, the workability of the removal work is improved.
In addition, when using a removal jig that needs to be maintained by the operator, such as a conventional removal jig, the release portion 17 is not sufficiently pressed, and the claw portion 19 is not engaged with the tube body 11. Release may be insufficient. If the tube body 11 is pulled out in a state where the disengagement of the claw portion 19 from the tube body 11 is insufficient, the outer surface of the tube body 11 may be damaged by the claw portion 19. Debris due to damage to the outer surface of the tube body 11 can remain in the pipe joint 10, and when the tube body 11 is reinserted into the tube joint 10, the debris is placed between the outer surface of the tube body 11 and the seal member 14. As a result, there is a risk of causing water leakage. On the other hand, according to the removal jig 22 of this embodiment, since the sufficient pressing state to the release part 17 is maintained, the engagement of the claw part 19 with the tubular body 11 is sufficiently released, and the tubular body 11 Damage to the outer surface is suppressed.

In this embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the removal jig 22 is, for example, a flat plate-like protrusion that protrudes radially outward of the side element 26 of the main body 23 and extends in the direction extending from the main body 23. A portion 28 is provided. In the present embodiment, two protrusions 28 are provided. The number of the protrusions 28 may be singular or plural. In the case where a plurality of projecting portions 28 are provided, for example, as in the present embodiment, the projecting portions 28 are preferably arranged at positions sandwiching the cylindrical central axis of the side element 26.
According to such a configuration, the pressing of the pressing portion 24 to the release portion 17 is more easily performed by placing a finger on the protruding portion 28. Further, by putting a finger on the protruding portion 28, the removal jig 22 can be easily detached from the pipe joint 10.

Further, in the present embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, a notch 29 extending along the axial direction AD is formed from the opening end side on the locking portion 25 side of the main body portion 23 of the removal jig 22.
According to such a configuration, it is easy to expand the side element 26 radially outward on the opening end side of the main body 23, and the attachment of the removal jig 22 to the pipe joint 10 is facilitated.
