Claims (29)
- 血管壁における穿刺部を封止する装置であって、
位置決めアセンブリの末端部分に位置決めした位置決め素子、及び位置決めアセンブリの末端部分に配置した封止材を有する、該位置決めアセンブリと、
前記位置決めアセンブリに沿って軸線方向に前進可能であり、前記封止材に接触する支持部材と
を備える、装置。 - 請求項1記載の装置において、前記位置決めアセンブリは、さらに、前記封止材を少なくとも部分的に包囲する封止材スリーブを有する、装置。
- 請求項1記載の装置において、さらに、前記位置決めアセンブリに釈放可能に係合するシースを備える、装置。
- 請求項3記載の装置において、前記シースはハブ部分を有し、前記ハブ部分は、前記封止材スリーブを収容するよう構成したキャビティを有する、装置。
- 請求項4記載の装置において、さらに、ハンドルを備え、また前記位置決めアセンブリは前記ハンドルから延在し、また前記シースのハブ部分は前記ハンドルに釈放可能に係合する、装置。
- 請求項3記載の装置において、前記シースの内径は、前記封止材スリーブの外径よりも小さい、装置。
- 請求項1記載の装置において、前記封止材は前記位置決め素子に隣接して配置する、装置。
- 血管壁における穿刺部を封止する装置であって、
位置決めアセンブリの末端部分に配置した封止材を有する、該位置決めアセンブリと、
シース内で前記位置決めアセンブリが軸線方向に前進可能である、該シースと、及び
内側ハウジング部分に対して相対移動するよう構成した外側ハンドル部分を有するハンドルであり、前記外側ハンドル部分を前記シースに取外し可能に連結した、該ハンドルと
を備える、装置。 - 請求項8記載の装置において、さらに、非拡張状態と拡張状態との間で移動可能な位置決め素子を備え、前記位置決め素子は前記位置決めアセンブリの末端部分に位置決めする、装置。
- 請求項8記載の装置において、前記ハンドルは、さらに、前記内側ハウジング部分と前記外側ハンドル部分との間の移動を分離するよう構成した第1アクチュエータを有する、装置。
- 請求項8記載の装置において、前記ハンドルは、支持部材を前記シース内で前進させるよう構成した第2アクチュエータを有する、装置。
- 請求項11記載の装置において、前記ハンドルは、さらに、ラック・アンド・ピニオンを有し、また前記第2アクチュエータは、前記ピニオンにリンク連結し、前記ラックを移動させる、装置。
- 請求項8記載の装置において、前記ハンドルは、前記位置決めアセンブリの前記支持部材に対する移動を制御する構成の第3アクチュエータを有する、装置。
- 請求項13記載の装置において、前記第3アクチュエータは、前記封止材内を通過するよう前記位置決め素子を後退させるよう構成する、装置。
- 請求項13記載の装置において、前記第3アクチュエータは、前記内側ハウジング部分に対して摺動可能にする、装置。
- 請求項8記載の装置において、シースはハブを有し、前記ハブは前記ハンドルに取外し可能に連結する、装置。
- 請求項16記載の装置において、前記位置決めアセンブリは、さらに、前記封止材をカバーする封止材スリーブを有する、装置。
- 請求項17記載の装置において、前記ハブは、前記位置決めアセンブリを前記シース内に挿入するとき前記封止材スリーブの一部を収容するキャビティを有する、装置。
- 請求項8記載の装置において、前記内側ハウジング部分は、前記位置決めアセンブリに取外し可能に連結する、装置。
- 血管壁における穿刺部を封止する方法であって、
シースを前記血管内に前進させるシース前進ステップと、
位置決め素子が前記血管に進入するよう位置決めアセンブリを前記シース内で前進させる位置決めアセンブリ前進ステップであり、前記位置決めアセンブリは、該位置決めアセンブリの末端部分に配置した封止材を担持するものとする、該位置決めアセンブリ前進ステップと、及び
前記シースを後退させて前記封止材を前記血管の外部に露出させるシース後退ステップと
を有する、方法。 - 請求項20記載の方法において、さらに、前記位置決め素子を血管内で拡張させるステップを有する、方法。
- 請求項20記載の方法において、さらに、前記位置決め素子を基端方向に後退させ、前記位置決め素子を前記血管壁に着座させるステップを有する、方法。
- 請求項20記載の方法において、さらに、前記位置決めアセンブリを前記シース内で前進させた後、前記位置決めアセンブリ及び前記シースを釈放可能に係合させるステップを有する、方法。
- 請求項23記載の方法において、さらに、前記位置決めアセンブリを前記シースから釈放するステップを有する、方法。
- 請求項24記載の方法において、さらに、前記位置決めアセンブリを前記シースから釈放した後、前記位置決めアセンブリ及び前記シースを再係合させるステップを有する、方法。
- 請求項20記載の方法において、さらに、支持部材を前進させて前記封止材をタンピングするステップを有する、方法。
- 請求項20記載の方法において、さらに、前記位置決めアセンブリを前記支持部材から釈放するステップを有する、方法。
- 請求項20記載の方法において、さらに、前記位置決め素子を前記封止材に通過するよう後退させ、前記封止材を所定位置に留置するステップを有する、方法。
- 請求項20記載の方法において、前記位置決めアセンブリの前進により、前記封止材を封止材スリーブから前記シースに転送するステップを有する、方法。
