Claims (13)
- 発光装置と前記発光装置を駆動する駆動トランジスタを含むピクセルを具備している発光表示パネル;
1フレーム期間で、第nピクセルを介して一般画像が表示された後に前記第nピクセルを介して表示されるブラック画像に対応するブラック画像データを前記発光表示パネルの特性値に基づいて設定する制御部;
前記発光表示パネルに対して生成された前記特性値を保存する保存部;
前記制御部から伝送されるブラック画像データをブラック画像データ電圧に変換して前記発光表示パネルに備えられたデータラインに出力するデータドライバ;および
前記制御部の制御に基づいて、前記発光表示パネルに備えられたゲートラインにゲート信号を出力するゲートドライバを含み、
前記特性値が、前記発光表示パネルに備えられたすべてのピクセルのうちの少なくとも一つのピクセルに備えられた駆動トランジスタの閾値電圧の変化量であり、
前記制御部は、前記閾値電圧の変化量を用いて前記第nピクセルに対応する前記ブラック画像データを生成する発光表示装置。 - 前記第nピクセルに適用される前記閾値電圧の変化量が、第nピクセルに備えられた駆動トランジスタの閾値電圧の変化量である請求項1に記載の発光表示装置。
- 前記閾値電圧の変化量が、外部システムから装置オフ信号を受信した後に作成され、前記保存部に保存される請求項1に記載の発光表示装置。
- 前記保存部には、前記発光表示パネルの製造時、前記少なくとも一つのピクセルに対して測定された開始閾値電圧および装置オフ信号を受信した後、前記少なくとも一つのピクセルに対して測定された閾値電圧が保存され、
前記制御部は、前記開始閾値電圧および前記閾値電圧を用いて前記閾値電圧の変化量を算出する請求項1に記載の発光表示装置。 - 前記第nピクセルに対応するブラック画像データにより前記データドライバで生成されるブラック画像データ電圧が、前記発光表示パネルに備えられたピクセルのすべてに適用される基準ブラック画像データ電圧よりも、前記ピクセルの閾値電圧の変化量だけ変化した電圧である請求項1に記載の発光表示装置。
- 前記発光表示パネルに備えられたすべてのピクセルに対応するブラック画像データが、同一ではない請求項1に記載の発光表示装置。
- 前記第nピクセルに適用される前記閾値電圧の変化量が、前記発光表示パネルに備えられたすべての駆動トランジスタのうちの少なくとも二つの閾値電圧の変化量の平均である請求項1に記載の発光表示装置。
- 前記制御部が、
前記の平均を用いて、前記発光表示パネルに備えられたすべてのピクセルに対応する前記ブラック画像データを生成する請求項7に記載の発光表示装置。 - 前記発光表示パネルに備えられたすべてのピクセルに対応するブラック画像データが、互いに同じ請求項1に記載の発光表示装置。
- 発光素子と前記発光素子を駆動する駆動トランジスタを含むピクセルを具備している発光表示パネル;
1フレーム期間で、第nピクセルを介して一般画像が出力された後に前記第nピクセルを介して出力されるブラック画像に対応するブラック画像データを発光表示パネルの特性値を考慮して設定する制御部;
前記発光表示パネルに対して生成された前記特性値を保存する保存部;
前記制御部から伝送されるブラック画像データをブラック画像データ電圧に変換して前記発光表示パネルに備えられたデータラインに出力するデータドライバ;および
前記制御部の制御によって、前記発光表示パネルに備えられたゲートラインにゲート信号を出力するゲートドライバを含み、
前記特性値が、前記ブラック画像データが出力される1フレーム期間に前記発光表示パネルのすべてのピクセルに出力される一般画像データ電圧のうちの最小値であり、
前記制御部は、前記最小値を用いて前記ブラック画像データを生成する発光表示装置。 - 前記第nピクセルに対応するブラック画像データにより前記データドライバで生成されるブラック画像データ電圧が、前記発光表示パネルに備えられたピクセルのすべてに適用される基準ブラック画像データ電圧よりも大きく、前記最小値よりも小さい請求項10に記載の発光表示装置。
- 前記第nピクセルに対応するブラック画像データにより前記データドライバで生成されるブラック画像データ電圧が、基準黒画像データ電圧よりも大きく、既設定された最高ブラック画像データ電圧より小さい請求項10に記載の発光表示装置。
- 前記最小値が、前記最高ブラック画像データ電圧よりも大きければ、前記ブラック画像データ電圧は、前記最高ブラック画像データ電圧になる請求項12に記載の発光表示装置。
