Description
Claims (15)
- 複数の積層ヘッドと、
連続するループ状の積層経路を規定するとともに、当該積層経路に沿って前記積層ヘッドを連続して移動させるヘッド移動システムと、
前記積層経路の一部に沿って配置されて第1積層ステーションを構成する少なくとも1つの積層マンドレルと、を備える製造システムであって、
前記積層ヘッドが前記ヘッド移動システムによって移動されて前記積層経路を1周以上する間に、前記積層ヘッドの各々は、前記少なくとも1つの積層マンドレルの上に、又は、前記積層マンドレルに先に配置されたレイアップ材料の上に、レイアップ材料を送出して複合積層材をレイアップするように構成されている、製造システム。 - 前記積層経路は、第1側辺部、及び、当該第1側辺部に対向する第2側辺部を有し、
前記少なくとも1つの積層マンドレルは、前記第1側辺部及び前記第2側辺部のうちの少なくとも1つに沿って配置されている、請求項1に記載の製造システム。 - 前記積層経路に接続された待機経路を有する待機ベイをさらに備え、
前記待機ベイは、前記待機経路上に1つ以上の積層ヘッドを保管するよう構成されており、
前記ヘッド移動システムは、前記積層ヘッドを前記積層経路と前記待機経路との間で移動させるよう構成されている、請求項1又は2に記載の製造システム。 - 前記待機ベイに接続された引き込み経路を有するメンテナンスベイをさらに備え、当該メンテナンスベイは、前記積層ヘッドのうちの1つ以上に装着された材料ロールの保守及び交換のうちの少なくとも1つのために構成されており、
前記ヘッド移動システムは、前記積層ヘッドを前記待機経路と前記引き込み経路との間で移動させるよう構成されている、請求項3に記載の製造システム。 - 前記積層経路に接続されたリローディング経路を有するリローディングベイをさらに備え、
前記リローディングベイは、交換用材料ロール又は交換用積層ヘッドのうちの少なくとも1つを含み、前記交換用材料ロールは、前記積層経路上の積層ヘッドにおける使用済み材料ロールと交換するためのものであり、前記交換用積層ヘッドは、前記積層経路上の積層ヘッドと交換するためのものであり、
前記ヘッド移動システムは、積層ヘッドの使用済み材料ロールを交換するために、又は、当該積層ヘッドを交換するために、当該積層ヘッドを前記積層経路から前記リローディング経路に移動させるよう構成されている、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の製造システム。 - 前記ヘッド移動システムは、
前記積層経路を規定するとともに、前記積層ヘッドを支持する軌道システム、及び、
前記積層ヘッドを支持して前記積層経路に沿って移動させるヘッド移動ロボットシステム、
のうちの1つを含む、請求項1〜5のうちのいずれかに記載の製造システム。 - 少なくとも1つの積層マンドレルを保管するよう構成されたマンドレル待機位置をさらに備え、前記積層マンドレルは、前記マンドレル待機位置から前記積層ステーションに移動可能である、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の製造システム。
- 前記積層ステーションから前記積層マンドレル及び前記複合積層材を受け取るよう構成されたマンドレル排出位置をさらに備える、請求項7に記載の製造システム。
- ヘッド移動システムを用いて、連続するループ状の積層経路に沿って複数の積層ヘッドを移動させることと、
前記積層ヘッドが前記積層経路を少なくとも1周する間に、前記積層ヘッドから少なくとも1つの積層マンドレルの上に、又は、先に配置されたレイアップ材料の上に、レイアップ材料を送出して複合積層材を形成することと、を含み、前記少なくとも1つの積層マンドレルは、前記積層経路の一部に沿って配置されており、第1積層ステーションを構成するものである、複合積層材を製造する方法。 - 前記積層ヘッドからレイアップ材料を送出するステップは、
複合レイアップ材料、金属メッシュ、金属箔、及び、加工材料のうちの少なくとも1つを含むレイアップ材料を前記積層ヘッドから送出することを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。 - 前記積層ヘッドから前記少なくとも1つの積層マンドレルの上にレイアップ材料を送出するステップは、
前記積層経路の第1側辺部、及び、当該第1側辺部の反対側に位置する第2側辺部のうちの少なくとも1つに沿って配置された前記積層マンドレルの上にレイアップ材料を送出することを含み、
前記第1側辺部及び前記第2側辺部は、第1端部、及び、当該第1端部の反対側に位置する第2端部によって相互に接続されている、請求項9又は10に記載の方法。 - 前記第1側辺部及び前記第2側辺部のうちの少なくとも1つに沿って配置された前記積層マンドレルの上にレイアップ材料を送出することは、
前記第1側辺部及び前記第2側辺部に沿ってそれぞれ配置されて、前記第1積層ステーション及び第2積層ステーションをそれぞれ構成する第1積層マンドレル及び第2積層マンドレルの上にレイアップ材料を送出することを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記積層ヘッドのうちの少なくとも1つを、前記積層経路と、当該積層経路に接続された待機経路との間で移動させることと、
前記待機経路上にある待機ベイに、前記積層経路上の前記積層ヘッドのうちの1つ以上と交換するための1つ以上の積層ヘッドを保管することと、をさらに含む、請求項9〜12のいずれかに記載の方法。 - 前記積層ヘッドのうちの少なくとも1つを、前記積層経路と、当該積層経路に接続されたリローディング経路との間で移動させることと、
交換用材料ロール又は交換用積層ヘッドのうちの少なくとも1つを、前記リローディング経路上にあるリローディングベイに保管することと、をさらに含むとともに、
前記積層経路から前記リローディングベイに移動された積層ヘッドに装着されている使用済み材料ロールを前記交換用材料ロールと交換するか、
前記積層経路から前記リローディングベイに移動された積層ヘッドを交換用積層ヘッドと交換するか、
のうちのいずれか1つを実行することをさらに含む、請求項9〜13のいずれかに記載の方法。 - 前記積層経路に沿って前記複数の積層ヘッドを連続して移動させるステップは、
前記積層経路を構成する軌道システムに沿って、前記複数の積層ヘッドを移動させること、及び、
複数のヘッド移動ロボット装置を用いて、前記複数の積層ヘッドを移動させること、
のうちの1つを含む、請求項9〜14のいずれかに記載の方法。
