Claims (7)
- 指向性を有する光を出射する複数の光源が一面に配列された発光体群と、
前記複数の光源から出射された光の光路上に設けられ、第1の所定の角度範囲で入射する光を、前記第1の所定の角度範囲内で均質に拡散して出射する第1の拡散体と、を備える光源装置。 - 請求項1に記載の光源装置において、
前記第1の拡散体の光の出射面側に配列され、前記第1の拡散体から出射された光を第2の所定の方向に偏向する複数の光偏向体と、
前記光偏向体により偏向された光のうち、前記第2の所定の角度範囲で入射する光を、前記第2の所定の角度範囲内で均質に拡散して出射する第2の拡散体と、をさらに備える光源装置。 - 請求項2に記載の光源装置において、
前記光偏向体と、前記光偏向体により偏向された光を拡散して出射する前記第2の拡散体との対が、前記発光体群から見て階層的に設けられている、光源装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の光源装置において、
前記第1の拡散体における前記所定の角度範囲は、前記光源が光を出射する角度範囲と同じ、または、所定値だけ広い、光源装置。 - 請求項3に記載の光源装置において、
前記第2の拡散体における前記所定の角度範囲は、対となる光偏向体により偏向される光の角度範囲と同じ、または、所定値だけ広い、光源装置。 - 請求項2,3または5のいずれか一項に記載の光源装置において、
前記第1の所定の角度範囲を±θとすると、前記複数の光源と、前記第1の拡散体との間の距離d1は、
隣接する2つの前記光源の中心間隔Aを2tanθで除算した値、および、
前記複数の光源の光の出射範囲、または、指向性拡散板により前記複数の光源の光を拡散した後の光の出射範囲を±ξとしたときに、隣接する2つの前記光源の中心間隔Aを2tanξで除算した値のうち大きい方の値よりも大きく、
前記光偏向体と、前記光偏向体と対となる前記第2の拡散体との間の距離d2は、
前記光偏向体の、該光偏向体と隣接する光偏向体に向かう方向の幅を2tanθで除算した値よりも大きい、光源装置。 - 請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の光源装置と、
前記光源装置から出射された光を変調する変調素子と、を備える表示装置。
