第2の態様では、図5に示すように、強化冶具Iの第3のローラ5を床面12に当接させた状態で下肢筋力の強化を行う。すなわち、下肢筋力の強化を行う高齢者等IIIが車椅子IIに座った初期の状態で足先に強化冶具Iを装着する。かかる状態で、図5(a)に示すように、下方に伸びる足先に装着された強化冶具Iの第3のローラ5を床面12に当接させる。かかる状態では第3のローラ5により補強冶具Iの前方(図4の左方向)への移動が拘束されている。かかる状態で図5(b)に示すように、足先を矢印D方向に伸ばすことにより車椅子IIを後方(矢印A方向)に後退移動させる。かかる車椅子IIを移動させることでその間中、移動動作に伴う負荷が高齢者等IIIの下肢に作用する。この結果、当該動作を繰り返すことにより、第1の態様と同様に、下肢筋力が補強される。

前記軸回りに回転するとともに、前記足載せ台の中央部の下方に配設した第2のローラとを有し、
前記第1のローラは、前記足先側端部から前記踵側端部に向かう方向の前記足載せ台の移動を拘束する一方、前記踵側端部から前記足先側端部に向かう方向の前記足載せ台の移動は許容するように一方向のみへの回転を可能に形成したものであることを特徴とする下肢筋力の強化治具。
