- 前記頭蓋プロテーゼは、カスタムメイドである、請求項40に記載の頭蓋プロテーゼ。
- 前記頭蓋プロテーゼは、付加製造プロセスを用いてカスタムメイドされる、請求項59に記載の頭蓋プロテーゼ。
- 前記頭蓋プロテーゼは、モールドを用いてその場で処方される、請求項40に記載の頭蓋プロテーゼ。
- 前記頭蓋プロテーゼは、プラスチック樹脂状材料またはアルギン酸塩を用いてその場で処方される、請求項61に記載の頭蓋プロテーゼ。

- 前記外側本体は、前記プロテーゼが患者に移植された後に1つ以上の診断機器を係合するための1つ以上の手段をさらに含み、前記係合された診断機器および/または頭蓋内送達システムは正常に機能する、請求項40に記載の頭蓋プロテーゼ。
- 前記外側本体は、チタン、チタン合金、コバルトクロムまたはこれらの任意の組み合わせから作製される、請求項66に記載の頭蓋プロテーゼ。

- 前記診断機器および/または頭蓋内送達システムを保持するための前記手段は、前記係合手段の壁を覆い、設置後に前記機器または送達を前記プロテーゼに対してしっかりと保持する圧力を前記機器または送達システムに及ぼす、生体適合性であり殺菌可能な弾性材料から作製される、請求項69に記載の頭蓋プロテーゼ。

- 前記頭蓋プロテーゼの前記内部窓は、ポリエチレン、ポリスチレン、アクリル、ポリメチルペンテンおよびポリメチルメタクリレートからなる群より選択される材料から製造される、請求項40に記載の頭蓋プロテーゼ。
- 前記1つ以上の診断機器は、経頭蓋ドプラシステム、頭蓋内圧モニタ、マイクロセンサICPトランスデューサ、実質プローブ、温度プローブ、頭蓋内血流モニタ、ポートアクセスを備えたリザーバデバイスならびに高密度焦点式超音波および磁気画像化デバイスからなる群より選択される、請求項68に記載の頭蓋プロテーゼ。
- 前記プロテーゼは、脳腫瘍、神経膠芽腫、外傷性脳損傷、実質内血腫、硬膜下血腫、硬膜外血腫、不整脈後の血管攣縮を伴うクモ膜下出血、先天性または後天性水頭症、脳室ドレナージを伴う脳外傷、脳の炎症、脳の感染、視床下部の損傷、またはシャントの移植により引き起こされる脳の損傷を診断および治療するように設計される、請求項74に記載の頭蓋プロテーゼ。
- 前記プロテーゼは、患者のクモ膜下腔の頭蓋内圧、脳組織酸素分圧、硬膜下圧、実質圧、脳室内圧、実質内圧、脳の温度、脳の血流、組織灌流、脳室液圧を監視するように設計される、請求項74に記載の頭蓋プロテーゼ。
- 前記プロテーゼは、細胞学的および化学的分析のための脳組織サンプルの回収、脳室液の排出、および化学療法剤または放射性同位体の注射を可能にするように設計される、請求項68に記載の頭蓋プロテーゼ。
