ハウジングと、
ハウジング内にある、
センサであって、加熱要素の反射率または温度を測定し、対応する信号を生成するように構成されたセンサ、および、
制御構成要素であって、対応する信号を受信し、そのように測定された反射率または温度に基づいて加熱要素でのエアロゾル前駆体組成物の体積を決定するように構成された制御構成要素と、を含み、制御構成要素が、体積が所定の閾値体積を上回るまたは下回ることそれぞれに応答して、弁を制御して、エアロゾル前駆体組成物の流量を減少または増加させるように構成される、制御本体。 - センサが、加熱要素での光の反射率を測定するように構成された光学式液面センサであるか、それを含み、制御構成要素が、そのように測定された反射率に基づいてエアロゾル前駆体組成物の体積を決定するように構成される、請求項11に記載の制御本体。
- センサが、加熱要素の温度を測定するように構成された温度センサであるか、それを含み、制御構成要素が、そのように測定された温度に基づいてエアロゾル前駆体組成物の体積を決定するように構成される、請求項11に記載の制御本体。
- 弁が、可変でありエアロゾル前駆体組成物の流量に比例する電動機速度を有する単相誘導電動機であるか、それを含み、
弁を制御するように構成された制御構成要素が、弁を制御して、電動機速度ひいては流量をそれぞれ減少または増加させるように構成されていることを含む、請求項11に記載の制御本体。 - 所定の閾値体積が、第1および第2の閾値体積を含み、
弁を制御するように構成されている制御構成要素が、体積が第1の閾値体積を上回るか、第2の閾値体積を下回ることそれぞれに応答して、弁を制御して、エアロゾル前駆体組成物の流量を減少または増加させるように構成されていることを含む、請求項11に記載の制御本体。 - 第1および第2の閾値体積がそれぞれ100ミリリットル(mL)および10mLであり、
弁を制御して流量を減少または増加させるように構成されている制御構成要素が、それぞれエアロゾル前駆体組成物の流れが止まるまで、または体積が100mLを超えるまで、弁を制御して、流量を徐々に減少または増加させるように構成されていることを含む、請求項15に記載の制御本体。 - 弁を制御するように構成されている制御構成要素が、ハウジングの少なくとも一部を通る液体の流れが検出される場合にのみ弁を制御するように構成されていることを含み、
エアロゾル送達装置が、液体の流れの圧力を測定し、第2の対応する信号を生成するように構成された圧力センサをさらに含み、
制御構成要素が、第2の対応する信号を受信し、弁を制御して、そのように測定された圧力に比例してエアロゾル前駆体組成物の流量をさらに減少または増加させるように構成される、請求項11に記載の制御本体。 - 弁を制御するように構成されている制御構成要素が、ハウジングの少なくとも一部を通る液体の流れが検出される場合にのみ弁を制御するように構成されていることを含み、

をさらに含む制御本体。 - リザーバが再充填可能なリザーバであり、エアロゾル送達装置が、
液面センサであって、再充填可能なリザーバ内のエアロゾル前駆体組成物の体積を測定し、第2の対応する信号を生成するように構成された液面センサと、
通信インターフェースであって、体積が第2の所定の閾値を下回ることに応答して、リザーバを再充填するために容器を自動的に注文するように構成された遠隔注文システムに、そのように測定された再充填可能なリザーバ内のエアロゾル前駆体組成物の体積を伝達する第2の対応する信号または別の信号の無線通信を可能にするように構成された通信インターフェースと、
をさらに含む、請求項11に記載の制御本体。
