Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明は異物質検出方法及びそのための装置及びシステムに関するもので、本発明の一実施例による無線電力送信機における異物質検出方法は、物体を感知すれば、基準動作周波数に相応する品質因子値を測定する段階と、動作周波数帯域内の品質因子値が最大である現在ピーク周波数を探索する段階と、基準ピーク周波数についての情報が含まれた異物質検出状態パケットを無線電力受信機から受信する段階と、前記現在ピーク周波数と前記基準ピーク周波数間の差分値を用いて前記測定された品質因子値を補正する段階と、前記補正された品質因子値と所定の品質因子臨界値を比較して異物質の存在有無を判断する段階とを含むことができる。よって、本発明はより効果的で正確に異物質を検出することができる利点がある。

Claims (12)
- 無線電力送信機における異物質検出方法であって、
物体を感知すれば、基準動作周波数に相応する品質因子値を測定する段階と、
動作周波数帯域内の品質因子値が最大である現在ピーク周波数を探索する段階と、
基準ピーク周波数についての情報が含まれた異物質検出状態パケットを無線電力受信機から受信する段階と、
前記現在ピーク周波数と前記基準ピーク周波数間の差分値を用いて前記測定された品質因子値を補正する段階と、
前記補正された品質因子値と所定の品質因子臨界値を比較して異物質の存在有無を判断する段階とを含む、異物質検出方法。 - 前記基準ピーク周波数は充電領域に前記無線電力受信機のみ配置された状態で前記動作周波数帯域内の最大品質因子値を有する周波数である、請求項1に記載の異物質検出方法。
- 前記判断結果によって異物質が検出されれば、前記無線電力受信機への電力伝送を中断する段階をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の異物質検出方法。
- 前記異物質検出状態パケットはモード情報をさらに含み、前記モード情報に基づいて前記基準ピーク周波数についての情報が前記異物質検出状態パケットに含まれたかを識別する、請求項1に記載の異物質検出方法。
- 前記異物質の存在有無を判断する段階は、
前記補正された品質因子値が前記所定の品質因子臨界値より小さければ、異物質が存在すると判断する段階と、
前記補正された品質因子値が前記所定の品質因子臨界値より大きいか同じであれば、異物質が存在しないと判断する段階とを含む、請求項1に記載の異物質検出方法。 - 物体が感知されれば、基準動作周波数に相応する品質因子値を測定する品質因子測定部と、
動作周波数帯域内の品質因子値が最大である現在ピーク周波数を探索するピーク周波数探索部と、
基準ピーク周波数についての情報が含まれた異物質検出状態パケットを無線電力受信機から受信する通信部と、
前記現在ピーク周波数と前記基準ピーク周波数間の差分値を用いて前記測定された品質因子値を補正する補正部と、
前記補正された品質因子値と所定の品質因子臨界値を比較して異物質の存在有無を判断する検出部とを含む、無線電力送信機。 - 前記基準ピーク周波数は充電領域に前記無線電力受信機のみ配置された状態で前記動作周波数帯域内の最大品質因子値を有する周波数である、請求項6に記載の無線電力送信機。
- 前記判断結果によって異物質が検出されれば、前記無線電力受信機への電力伝送を中断する、請求項6に記載の無線電力送信機。
- 前記異物質検出状態パケットはモード情報をさらに含み、前記モード情報に基づいて前記基準ピーク周波数についての情報が前記異物質検出状態パケットに含まれたかを識別する、請求項6に記載の無線電力送信機。
- 前記検出部は、
前記補正された品質因子値が前記所定の品質因子臨界値より小さければ、異物質が存在すると判断し、
前記補正された品質因子値が前記所定の品質因子臨界値より大きいか同じであれば、異物質が存在しないと判断する、請求項6に記載の無線電力送信機。 - 無線電力受信機であって、
無線電力送信機に異物質検出(Foreign Object Detection、FOD)状態パケットを伝送する通信部と、
基準ピーク周波数及びモードフィールドを含む前記異物質検出状態パケットを生成する制御部とを含み、
前記基準ピーク周波数は異物質がない状態で前記無線電力送信機に含まれるコイルで測定される共振周波数に対応する周波数を含み、
前記モードフィールドに含まれる情報は、前記無線電力受信機が非活性化状態にあるかを指示する情報及び異物質がない状態を指示する情報を含む、無線電力受信機。 - 前記通信部は、前記無線電力送信機から前記異物質検出状態パケットに対応して異物質感知指示子を受信する、請求項11に記載の無線電力受信機。
