Claims (15)
- クチュエータ部材であって、

印加電界の大きさに依存して変形するように構成される電気活性ポリマ材料と、
当該アクチュエータ部材の変形によって引き起こされる前記キャパシタンスの変化を少なくとも部分的に相殺するように構成されるキャパシタンス補償手段とを含む、
アクチュエータ部材。 - 前記キャパシタンス補償手段は、当該アクチュエータ部材の少なくとも一部分の比誘電率を減少させることによってキャパシタンスの前記変化を少なくとも部分的に相殺するように構成される、請求項1に記載のアクチュエータ部材。
- 前記キャパシタンス補償手段は、印加電界の増大する大きさ、印加電荷の増大、及び当該アクチュエータ部材の機械的変形のうちの1つ又はそれよりも多くに依存して、当該アクチュエータ部材の比誘電率の減少を誘発するように構成される、請求項2に記載のアクチュエータ部材。
- 前記キャパシタンス補償手段は、補償材料を含み、該補償材料は、印加電界の増大する大きさ、印加電荷の増大、及び当該アクチュエータ部材の機械的変形のうちの1つ又はそれよりも多くに応答して、前記補償材料に亘るキャパシタンスの減少を独立して示す、請求項1乃至3のうちのいずれか1項に記載のアクチュエータ部材。
- 前記補償材料は、キャパシタンスの減少をもたらす実効比誘電率の減少を示す、請求項4に記載のアクチュエータ部材。
- 前記キャパシタンス補償手段は、前記補償材料で形成される複数の粒子を含み、該粒子は、前記電気活性ポリマ材料内に埋め込まれる、請求項4又は5に記載のアクチュエータ部材。
