Abstract
Description
水の輸送または貯蔵に使用されるプラスチック材料は、細菌増殖を刺激する成分を放出し得る。細菌は、水を消費するヒトおよび家畜への健康リスクを引き起こし得る。細菌増殖を制御するために、塩素または二酸化塩素などの殺菌剤が典型的には飲用水に添加される。しかしながら、長期間の使用で、管、フィッティング、および貯蔵容器の形成に使用したプラスチック材料が塩素および塩素化誘導体によって化学的に攻撃され得る。したがって、細菌増殖の刺激がより少なくなり、それ故に飲用水の塩素処理を減少させることが可能な管、フィッティング、および貯蔵容器が望まれている。
ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)組成物の調製に使用した成分を表1要約する。
これらの実施例は、ガラス繊維を含む予言的なポリ(フェニレンエーテル)組成物を例証する。配合条件は、ガラス繊維を下流側のフィーダーを介して押出機に添加した以外は実施例1〜6と同じである。表3中、成分量はポリ(フェニレンエーテル)とポリスチレンと水素化ブロックコポリマーとの合計100質量部に対しての質量部で表される。
これらの実施例は、高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE)、無可塑ポリ(塩化ビニル)(PVC−u)、およびポリ(フェニレンエーテル)組成物(PPE)の押出された表面の表面粗さの特徴付けを例証する。
共押出は、材料の多層の同時の押出である。共押出は、2つ以上の押出機を使用して、異なる粘性のプラスチックの一定の容量のスループットを溶融し、単一押出ヘッド(ダイス)へ送達し、それから材料を望ましい形状に押出する。層の厚さは、材料を送達する個々の押出機の相対速度およびサイズによって制御される。
これらの実施例は、本ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)組成物から調製した物品が、ポリ(塩化ビニル)から調製した対応する物品と比較して、水中の微生物増殖のはるかに良好な制御を示すことを例証する。NEN−EN 16421:2014,“Influence of materials on water for human consumption − Enhancement of microbial growth (EMG)”,方法1に準拠して試験を実施した。この試験では、ホウケイ酸ガラスがネガティブコントロールになり(BPP<100pg ATP/cm2として示される低い微生物増殖)、可塑化ポリ(塩化ビニル)(PVC−p)がポジティブコントロールになり(BPP>10,000pg ATP/cm2として示される高い微生物増殖)、ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)組成物が実験試料になる。
Claims (20)
- 外層組成物の合計質量に対して、
架橋ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリ(1−ブテン)、およびポリ(塩化ビニル)からなる群より選択される熱可塑性物質を50〜100質量%と、
充填剤を0〜50質量%と、
を含む外層組成物を含む外層と、
ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)とポリスチレンと水素化ブロックコポリマーとの合計100質量部に対して、
ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)を20〜70質量部と、
ポリスチレンを30〜80質量部と、
アルケニル芳香族モノマーと共役ジエンとの水素化ブロックコポリマーを0〜15質量部と、
を含む内層組成物を含む内層と、
を含むことを特徴とする水の輸送用のライニング管。 - 前記外層組成物中の前記熱可塑性物質がポリプロピレンである請求項1に記載のライニング管。
- 前記充填剤が、タルク、クレイ、マイカ、炭酸カルシウム、およびそれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される請求項1または2に記載のライニング管。
- 前記ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)が、クロロホルム中25℃でUbbelohde粘度計によって測定される固有粘度が0.1〜0.6dL/gであるポリ(2,6−ジメチル−1,4−フェニレンエーテル)である請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のライニング管。
- 前記ポリスチレンが、ISO1133−4(2011)に準拠して200℃および5kg負荷で測定されるメルトフローインデックスが1〜5g/10分であるアタクチックホモポリスチレンを含む請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のライニング管。
- 前記内層組成物が前記水素化ブロックコポリマーを1〜15質量部含み、前記水素化ブロックコポリマーが、ポリスチレン含量が約25〜40質量%であり、質量平均分子量が約200,000〜400,000g/モルであるポリスチレン−ポリ(エチレン−ブチレン)−ポリスチレントリブロックコポリマーである請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載のライニング管。
- 前記内層が、3〜15nmの値である表面粗さパラメータRa、および7〜25nmの値であるRqによって特徴付けられる内面を含む請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載のライニング管。
- 前記外層組成物がポリプロピレンを95〜100質量%含み;
前記ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)が、クロロホルム中25℃で測定される固有粘度が0.1〜0.6dL/gであるポリ(2,6−ジメチル−1,4−フェニレンエーテル)を含み;
前記ポリスチレンが、ISO1133−4(2011)に準拠して200℃および5kg負荷で測定されるメルトフローインデックスが1.5〜3.5g/10分であるアタクチックホモポリスチレンを含み;
前記内層組成物が前記水素化ブロックコポリマーを1〜15質量部含み、前記水素化ブロックコポリマーが、ポリスチレン含量が約25〜40質量%であり、質量平均分子量が約200,000〜400,000g/モルであるポリスチレン−ポリ(エチレン−ブチレン)−ポリスチレントリブロックコポリマーであり;
前記内層組成物が、
前記ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)を35〜45質量部と、
前記ポリスチレンを43〜53質量部と、
前記水素化ブロックコポリマーを5〜15質量部と、
を含む請求項1に記載のライニング管。 - ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)とポリスチレンと水素化ブロックコポリマーとの合計100質量部に対して、
クロロホルム中25℃でUbbelohde粘度計によって測定される固有粘度が0.1〜0.6dL/gであるポリ(2,6−ジメチル−1,4−フェニレンエーテル)を30〜50質量部と;
ISO1133−4(2011)に準拠して200℃および5kg負荷で測定されるメルトフローインデックスが1〜5g/10分であるアタクチックホモポリスチレンを35〜55質量部と;
ポリスチレン−ポリ(エチレン−ブチレン)−ポリスチレントリブロックコポリマーを1〜15質量部と;
を含む組成物を含み、
前記組成物はゴム変性ポリスチレンを含まず、スチレンとブタジエンの非水素化ブロックコポリマーを含まず、内層組成物の合計質量に対して、遊離ブタジエンを1質量ppm未満含み;
前記組成物は、NEN−EN16421:2014方法1に従って決定される500pgアデノシン三リン酸/cm2以下のバイオマス生成能を示す
ことを特徴とする水と接触する射出成形品。 - 前記ポリ(2,6−ジメチル−1,4−フェニレンエーテル)の質量平均分子量が25,000〜60,000g/モルである請求項9に記載の射出成形品。
- 前記組成物が、ガラス繊維を5〜100質量部さらに含む請求項9または10に記載の射出成形品。
- ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)とポリスチレンと水素化ブロックコポリマーとの合計100質量部に対して、
ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)を20〜70質量部と、
ポリスチレンを30〜80質量部と、
アルケニル芳香族モノマーと共役ジエンとの水素化ブロックコポリマーを1〜15質量部と、
を含む組成物を有する表面と接触させて水を輸送するか、または貯蔵するステップを含むことを特徴とする水の輸送または貯蔵中の微生物増殖の制御方法。 - 前記組成物が、ガラス繊維を5〜100質量部さらに含む請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)の質量平均分子量が20,000〜60,000g/モルである請求項12または13に記載の方法。
- ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)とポリスチレンと水素化ブロックコポリマーとの合計100質量部に対して、
クロロホルム中25℃でUbbelohde粘度計によって測定される固有粘度が0.1〜0.6dL/gであるポリ(2,6−ジメチル−1,4−フェニレンエーテル)を30〜50質量部と;

- ガラス繊維を5〜100質量部さらに含む請求項15または16に記載の組成物。
- 前記水素化ブロックコポリマーが食品等級の水素化ブロックコポリマーである請求項15乃至17のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- NEN−EN16421:2014の方法1に従って決定される300pgアデノシン三リン酸/cm2以下のバイオマス生成能を示す請求項15乃至18いずれかに記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)を37〜47質量部と、
前記ポリスチレンを42〜52質量部と、
前記水素化ブロックコポリマーを5〜15質量部と、
前記ガラス繊維を5〜75質量部と、を含む請求項15乃至19のいずれかに記載の組成物。
