Abstract
Description
a)密な面のバリア紙をバルク層にラミネートするステップと、
b)熱封止可能な熱可塑性の最内ポリマー層を密な面のバリア紙の他面に適用するステップと、を含む方法が提供される。
c)プリントされた装飾パターンを有するプリント基層を含むさらなる層を、バルク層の他側である外側に適用するステップ。
a)固有の曲げ剛性が低いか又は抑制されており、密度が850kg/m3未満、例えば750kg/m3未満で、坪量が60〜250g/m2であるセルローススペーサ層を備える中央モジュールバルク材料のウェブを提供するステップと、
b)少なくともプリント基層(装飾がプリント又は適用されていてもされていなくてもよい)を備える外側材料モジュールのウェブを提供するステップであって、外側材料モジュールは、バルク材料の一側であってラミネート包装材料から作製される包装容器の外側を向く側となることが想定されている、ステップと、
c)中央モジュールバルク材料のウェブの外側と外側材料モジュールのウェブとを互いにラミネートするステップと、
d)外側材料モジュールに装飾を付加するステップと、
e)少なくとも本発明により規定される密な面のバリア紙を備える内側材料モジュールのウェブを提供するステップであって、内側材料モジュールは、バルク材料の一側であってラミネート包装材料から作製される包装容器の内側を向く側となることが想定されている、ステップと、
f)内側材料モジュールのウェブと中央モジュールバルク材料のウェブの内側とを互いにラミネートするステップと、
g)透明で液密性の最外保護層を外側材料モジュールの外側に適用するステップと、
h)熱可塑性の液密性の熱封止可能な最外層を内側材料モジュールの内側に適用するステップと、
i)このようにして、さらにリールに巻き付けるためにセルロースベースの液体食品又は粘性食品用のラミネート包装材料のウェブを得るステップと、
を含むことができ、
スペーサ層は、ラミネート包装材料内のサンドイッチ構造の中央を構成し、当該サンドイッチ構造は、スペーサ層の内側に紙フェイシング層として配置された密な面のバリア紙であって、スペーサ層の外側に配置されたさらなるフェイシング層と相互作用するバリア紙を有し、紙フェイシング層及びさらなるフェイシング層は、スペーサ層に比べて著しく厚さが小さいがヤング率が大きい。

3:1の板紙が40g/m2のSuper Perga WS Parchment紙でラミネートされたもの
4:165g/m2の丸溝ヒダ材料のバルク層の一面が72g/m2の紙でラミネートされ、他面が6.3μm厚のアルミニウム箔でラミネートされたもの
5:165g/m2の丸溝ヒダ材料のバルク層の一面が72g/m2の紙でラミネートされ、他面が40g/m2のSuper Perga WS Parchment紙でラミネートされたもの
Nordic Paper製の32g/m2のSuper Perga WS Parchmentと特定される種類の密な面の(CS)バリア紙がラミネートされて、以下のような構造とされた。ここで、様々なバリアコーティングが適用されたり、適用されなかったりした。

Claims (19)
- 熱封止を行って無菌の包装容器を形成するための、液体食品又は半液体食品用のセルロースベースのラミネート包装材料(10a;10b;10c;10d)であって、
紙、板紙、その他のセルロースベース材料から作製されたバルク材料層(11a;11b;11c;11d)と、
包装される食品と直接接触することが想定される熱可塑性ポリマーから作製された液密性の熱封止可能な最内層(15a;15b;15c;15d)と、
前記バルク材料層と前記最内層との間でラミネートされたバリア層(12−13−14(a;b;c;d))と、
を備え、
前記バリア層は、密度が800kg/m3以上、表面平滑性の値が450mL/分ベントセン(ISO8791−2)未満、厚さが60μm以下、坪量が60g/m2以下の、密な面のバリア紙(12a;12b;12c;12d)である、ラミネート包装材料(10a;10b;10c;10d)。 - 前記密な面のバリア紙は、厚さが20〜40μmであり、坪量が20〜40g/m2、例えば25〜35g/m2である、請求項1に記載のラミネート包装材料(10a;10b;10c;10d)。
- 前記密な面のバリア紙は、ベントセン表面平滑性の値が300mL/分以下、例えば250mL/分以下、例えば200mL/分以下である、請求項1又は2に記載のラミネート包装材料(10a;10b;10c;10d)。
- 前記密な面のバリア紙材料は、引張強度が、交差方向CDにおいて40〜80MPa、例えば50〜70MPa、例えば55〜65MPaであり、機械方向MDにおいて140〜180MPa、例えば150〜170MPa、例えば155〜165MPaである、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のラミネート包装材料(10a;10b;10c;10d)。
- 前記密な面のバリア紙材料は、湿潤強度が0.4〜0.6kN/m(ISO3781)である、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のラミネート包装材料(10a;10b;10c;10d)。
- 前記密な面のバリア紙材料は、透気度が2.0nm/Pas未満、例えば1.8nm/Pas未満、例えば1.7nm/Pas以下、例えば0.1〜1.7nm/Pas(SCAN P26)である、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のラミネート包装材料(10a;10b;10c;10d)。
- 前記密な面のバリア紙材料は、引裂抵抗が機械方向MDにおいても交差方向CDにおいても200mN未満(ISO1974)である、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のラミネート包装材料(10a;10b;10c;10d)。
- 前記熱封止可能な最内層の前記熱可塑性ポリマーは、ポリオレフィンであり、例えばポリエチレンであり、例えばメタロセン触媒鎖状低密度ポリエチレン(m−LLDPE)と低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)とのブレンドである、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のラミネート包装材料(10a;10b;10c;10d)。
- 前記密な面のバリア紙は、熱可塑性ポリマー、例えばポリオレフィン、例えばポリエチレン、例えば低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)の結合層(19a、19b;19c;19d)により、前記バルク材料層にラミネートされている、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のラミネート包装材料(10a;10b;10c;10d)。
- 前記密な面のバリア紙は、気相蒸着バリアコーティング、例えば金属アルミニウムコーティングでコートされている、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のラミネート包装材料(10a;10b;10c;10d)。
- 前記密な面のバリア紙は、プレコーティング材料(13a;13b;13c;13d)でコートされた上、プレコーティング表面上で気相蒸着バリアコーティング(14a;14b;14c;14d)でさらにコートされている、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のラミネート包装材料(10a;10b;10c;10d)。
- プレコーティング材料は、ポリビニルアルコール(PVOH)、エチレンビニルアルコール(EVOH)、デンプン及びデンプン誘導体、ナノ/マイクロ小繊維セルロースやナノ結晶質セルロースなどのセルロース及びセルロース誘導体、その他の多糖類及び多糖類誘導体、塩化ポリビニリデン(PVDC)、並びにポリアミドから成る群から選択されたバリア材料である、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のラミネート包装材料(10a;10b;10c;10d)。
- プレコーティングバリア材料は、PVOHであり、気相蒸着コーティングは、光学密度が1.5より大きく、例えば1.8より大きく、例えば2より大きく、例えば2〜3である金属化コーティングである、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載のラミネート包装材料(10a;10b;10c;10d)。
- 前記バルク材料層は、前記ラミネート包装材料内のサンドイッチ構造におけるスペーサ層として機能するセルロース材料層を備え、前記スペーサ層の密度は、750kg/m3未満、例えば700kg/m3未満である、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載のラミネート包装材料(10a;10b;10c;10d)。
- スペーサ層は、密度が100〜600kg/m3、例えば200〜500kg/m3、例えば300〜400kg/m3の、発泡成形プロセスにより作製された繊維層である、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載のラミネート包装材料(10a;10b;10c;10d)。
- 請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に記載のラミネート包装材料を備える、液体食品又は半液体食品用の包装容器(30a;30b;30c;30d)。
- 液体食品又は半液体食品用のセルロースベースのラミネート包装材料を製造するための方法であって、
a)密な面のバリア紙をバルク層にラミネートするステップと、
b)熱封止可能な熱可塑性の最内ポリマー層を前記密な面のバリア紙の他側に適用するステップと、
c)プリントされた装飾パターンを有するプリント基層を含むさらなる層を前記バルク層の他側である外側に適用するステップと、
を含む方法。 - 前記密な面のバリア紙は、0.5〜4g/m2の水性接着性組成物を適用(21)した後で前記バリア紙と前記バルク層とを互いに接着(22)させることにより、バルク材料層にラミネートされる、請求項17に記載の液体食品又は半液体食品用のセルロースベースのラミネート包装材料を製造するための方法。
- バルク材料層の外側の前記プリント基層は、サンドイッチ構造におけるフェイシング層として機能し、前記バルク材料層のスペーサ層、並びに前記スペーサ層及び前記バルク材料層の反対側に位置する前記密な面のバリア紙と相互作用する、密度が600kg/m3より大きく坪量が70g/m2以下のさらなる紙である、請求項17又は18に記載の液体食品又は粘性食品用のセルロースベースのラミネート包装材料を製造するための方法。
