Claims (3)
- 冷却液を流通させる第1冷却液通路が形成され、複数のシリンダが配置されるシリンダブロックと、
前記冷却液を流通させる第2冷却液通路が形成され、前記シリンダブロックに固定されるシリンダヘッドと、
前記シリンダヘッドと前記シリンダブロックとの間に配置され、前記第1冷却液通路と前記第2冷却液通路とを連通させる複数の流通孔が、前記第2冷却液通路における前記冷却液の流れ方向に並んで形成されたヘッドガスケットと、
前記複数の流通孔に対してそれぞれ設けられ、前記冷却液の液温に応じて前記流通孔を開閉するバルブと、
を備えるエンジン。 - 前記第2冷却液通路における下流側に位置する前記バルブは、前記第2冷却液通路における上流側に位置する前記バルブよりも先に前記流通孔を開状態とする請求項1に記載のエンジン。
- 前記バルブは、前記冷却液が所定の液温以下である場合に、前記流通孔を閉状態にし、前記冷却液が所定の液温より高い場合に、前記流通孔を開状態にする請求項1または2に記載のエンジン。
