Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a polyethylene laminate for packaging material and a packaging material comprising the laminate.
Polyethylene films have moderate flexibility, are excellent in transparency, moisture resistance, chemical resistance, and the like, and are inexpensive, and thus are used in various packaging materials. Although the melting point of polyethylene is somewhat different depending on the type, it is generally about 100 to 140 ° C., and therefore it is generally used as a heat-sealable film in the packaging material field.
On the other hand, since the polyethylene film is inferior in rigidity as compared with other thermoplastic resin films, the printability is low, and it is difficult to form a clear image on the surface. Moreover, the polyethylene film did not have a strength that can satisfy the durability required as an outer packaging material.
Therefore, a laminate is made by laminating a resin film with excellent rigidity and strength, such as a polyester film or nylon film, and a polyethylene film, and the end of the laminate is heat sealed so that the polyethylene film side of this laminate is inside. Thus, a packaging material is produced (for example, JP-A-2005-104525).
By the way, in recent years, with the increasing demand for the construction of a recycling society, attempts have been made to recycle and use packaging materials. However, when different types of resin films as described above are bonded together, it is difficult to separate the resin films from each other, which is not suitable for recycling, and there is a demand for using a packaging material with less environmental load.
The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and provides a polyethylene laminate for packaging materials that can significantly reduce the environmental burden and has high printability and strength.
