Claims (22)
- リチウムイオン電池モジュール用の安全装置であって、
前記リチウムイオン電池モジュール内の電池セルの劣化を検出し出力信号を送信するように構成される健全性監視部品であって、前記健全性監視部品は前記電池セルの形状又は寸法の変化を検出する、健全性監視部品と、
前記出力信号を受信し前記リチウムイオン電池モジュールの動作を少なくとも無効化するように構成される安全保護部品と、
を備える安全装置。 - 前記電池モジュールの前記動作は、前記電池モジュールの蓋端子から前記電池セルを物理的に切り離すことによって無効化される、
請求項1の安全装置。 - 前記電池モジュールの前記動作は、前記電池セルの端子と前記電池モジュールの蓋端子との間の電路に開回路を作り出すことにより前記電池モジュールの前記蓋端子から前記電池セルを電気的に切り離すことによって、無効化される、
請求項1の安全装置。 - 前記電池モジュールの前記動作は、前記電池モジュールへ充電電力を供給するバックアップ電力システムをシャットダウンすることによって、無効化される、
請求項1の安全装置。 - 前記バックアップ電力システムは無停電電源システムである、
請求項4の安全装置。 - 前記安全保護部品は、更に、前記電池モジュールの健全な状態が守られていないことの通知信号を送信する、
請求項1の安全装置。 - 前記リチウムイオン電池モジュールを更に備える、
請求項1の安全装置。 - 前記健全性監視部品は、劣化中の前記電池セルの膨張から前記電池セルの変位を検出するように構成される赤外線センサを備える、
請求項1の安全装置。 - 前記健全性監視部品は、劣化中の前記電池セルの膨張から前記電池モジュールのエンクロージャ内の圧力の変化を検出するように構成される感圧センサを備える、
請求項1の安全装置。 - 前記健全性監視部品は、劣化中の前記電池セルの膨張から前記電池セルの1以上の端子にかかる力を測定する、
請求項1の安全装置。 - 前記健全性監視部品は、劣化中の前記電池セルの膨張から生じる接点喪失状態を検出するように構成される電圧センサを備える、
請求項1の安全装置。 - 前記電池セルは、リチウム鉄リン酸化物(Lithium Ferrous Phosphorous Oxide(LFPO))電池セル、リン酸鉄リチウム電池セル、リチウムニッケルマンガンコバルト電池セル、リチウムニッケルコバルトアルミニウム電池セル、又はコバルト酸リチウム電池セルを備える、
請求項1の安全装置。 - リチウムイオン電池モジュールを保護する方法であって、
前記リチウムイオン電池モジュール内の電池セルの形状又は寸法の変化を検出することと、
安全保護部品へ出力信号を送信することと、
前記安全保護部品を介して前記リチウムイオン電池モジュールの動作を無効化することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記電池セルの形状又は寸法の前記変化の前記検出は、赤外線検出路をまたぐ前記電池セルの変位を検出することを含む、
請求項13の方法。 - 前記電池セルの形状又は寸法の前記変化の前記検出は、前記電池セルの膨張から前記電池モジュールのエンクロージャ内の圧力の変化を検出することを含む、
請求項13の方法。 - 前記電池セルの形状又は寸法の前記変化の前記検出は、劣化中の前記電池セルの膨張から前記電池セルの1以上の端子にかかる力を測定することと、前記力を閾値限界と比較することとを含む、
請求項13の方法。 - 前記電池セルの形状又は寸法の前記変化の前記検出は、劣化中の前記電池セルの膨張から生じる接点喪失状態を検出することを含む、
請求項13の方法。 - 前記リチウムイオン電池モジュールの動作を前記無効化することは、前記電池モジュールの蓋端子から前記電池セルを物理的に切り離すこと、前記電池セルの端子と前記電池モジュールの蓋端子との間の電路に開回路を作り出すことにより前記電池モジュールの前記蓋端子から前記電池セルを電気的に切り離すこと、又は前記電池モジュールへ充電電力を供給するバックアップ電力システムをシャットダウンすること、のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、
請求項13の方法。 - 前記電池モジュールの健全な状態が守られていないことの通知信号を送信することを更に含む、
請求項13の方法。 - 前記電池セルは、リチウム鉄リン酸化物(LFPO)電池セル、リン酸鉄リチウム電池セル、リチウムニッケルマンガンコバルト電池セル、リチウムニッケルコバルトアルミニウム電池セル、又はコバルト酸リチウム電池セルを備える、
請求項13の方法。 - リチウムイオン電池モジュールを保護する方法であって、
第1の電池セルの第1の端子と第2のセルの第2の端子との間にセル端子コレクター板を直列に接続することであって、
前記セル端子コレクター板は開放端と閉塞端とを有し、前記開放端は前記第1の電池セルの前記第1の端子に接続されており、前記閉塞端は接続された前記第2の電池セルの前記第2の端子に接続されており、前記リチウムイオン電池モジュールは、少なくとも前記第1の電池セルと前記第2の電池セルとを備える、
接続することと、
セル劣化から前記第1の電池セル又は前記第2の電池セルの膨張中に、前記セル端子コレクター板の前記開放端が前記第1の電池セルの前記第1の端子との接点を喪失することによって、前記第1の電池セルと前記第2の電池セルとの間の開回路状態を作り出すことと、
を含む方法。 - 前記リチウムイオン電池モジュールの前記開回路状態を検出することと、
前記開回路状態を検出することに応じて前記リチウムイオン電池モジュールの問題を示す警報をトリガすることと、
を更に含む、
