Description
ところで、近年、ベーパーの大気放出に関する規制が強化される傾向にあり、例えば米国のORVR(Onboard Refueling Vapor Recovery)規制では、給油中に車両から放出されるベーパー量を0.2(g/gal)以下に規定する等、ベーパーの大気への放出量が厳格に制限されている。
図4は、給油試験を模式的に説明する図である。給油試験では、実施例として、燃料タンク装置1を搭載した車両(図示せず)を、SHED(Sealed Housing for Evaporative Determination)90と称される密閉された部屋に設置し、当該SHED90内で給油を行った際の、燃料タンク装置1からのエバポエミッション(ガソリンベーパー)の放出量を分析計91にて測定した。
また、比較例として、抵抗部3(絞り部60)を有しない図7の燃料タンク装置201を搭載した車両(図示せず)を、SHED90に設置し、当該SHED90内で給油を行った際の、燃料タンク装置201からのエバポエミッションの放出量を分析計91にて測定した。
