Abstract
Description
この発明は、構成物に、衝突、摩擦、又はそれらの両方の結果として生じる機械エネルギーを連続的に複数回加えて変性化合物を生成させる、機械化学的変性化合物の製造方法、及びそのそれを実行する製造装置となる機械化学装置である。
下記の表1に示す秤量した材料をSUS製のポット(表中「SS」と略記する)に充填して、5mm径(5φ)のジルコニアボールを加えて、高速回転する(株)栗本鐵工所製HiG遊星ミルで150Gの64時間連続運転を行った。Fe4Nが第一群及び第三群物質に相当し、モンモリロナイト(表中「M*」と略記する)が第二群化合物及び第三群物質に相当し、水が第二群化合物に相当する。運転後、ポットを開けるとガスが噴出しアンモニア臭(SN)がした。窒化鉄は完全に分解しており、マグネタイトが観測された。確認された生成物と分散媒のpH変化を表2に示す。表2の無機物質はX線回折による解析結果であり、一部紛体は微粉砕されて同定が困難であった。有機物やアンモニアはGCMSやICで同定した。ただし、微量のため同定できない有機物のピークが多数あり、複雑な有機物が合成されていることが推察された。窒素のアンモニア転換量は概略30%であった。出発の化合物と得られた化合物から、下記式(1)の化学反応が考えられる。
実施例1において材料を表1のように変更し、ポットをSUS製からポリエチレン製(PE)に変更し、30Gの7時間連続運転を行って、同様に変性化合物を生成させた。ポットを開けると薄いアンモニア臭を含む異臭(SO)がした。実施例1と同様に分析したところ、下記式(2)の反応が推測される。
実施例2において、材料として水とモンモリロナイトの他に、Fe(NO3)3・9H2O(「FeN*」と略記することがある)と、単体の鉄を用いた。いずれも第一群及び第三群物質に対応する。その結果を表2に示す。同様にアンモニアを含む臭いが確認された。
同様に、表1の組成及び条件にて実施例4〜7を行った。第一群物質として炭素を含んでおり、いずれもGCMSで酢酸の存在が認められた。アンモニアも存在していることから、酢酸アンモニウムになっていると考えられる。
実施例1において、鉄製ボールを用いて水中でミルを行うように変更し、表3に示す材料濃度を概略で10%程度とした。ボールとして供給されるため量は明示できないが、第三群物質にあたる鉄が介在していることになる。生成した主たる変性化合物を表3に示す。得られた粉体は全て磁性を帯びていた。これは酸化鉄によるものと考えられる。ただし、現在の化学反応の常識では、用いた材料からは理解しがたい反応結果が一部に見られた。これらの例は単純な化合物であるが、複雑な化合物を使えばさらに複雑な結果が得られると期待される。
(実施例15、16)
廃硝酸鉄水溶液(10質量%:実施例15、20質量%:実施例16)をSUSポットに入れ、3mmφの鉄ボールを用いて約30Gで一時間かけて処理した。この実施例では、回転による空気の対流を封止してポットの冷却を防いだ。ポット内部はかなり高温になったと思われる。リトマス試験紙で測定した処、元の廃硝酸鉄水溶液はpH2であったが、約1時間の処理後はpH7になっていた。このpHの変遷を図2に示す。特に、30分頃は濃度の低い実施例15の方が速くpHが上昇した。昇温により、反応が加速したと推測される。また、pH8を超えたあたりで周囲にはアンモニア臭が感じられた。発生した雰囲気をイオンクロマトグラフで測定したところ(図3)、アンモニアのピークが確認された。最終的には黒色の磁性紛体の沈殿と透明な上澄みが得られた。XRDで測定したところ、マグネタイトのピークが確認された(図4)。また、他に硝酸アンモニウムが認められた。
廃硝酸液の詳細な中和試験を行った。遊星ボールミルとして(株)栗本鐵工所製High−G X382を用い、SUS製ポット、4mmφのSUS製ボールを用いた。硝酸水溶液(10質量%:実施例17、20質量%:実施例18)をポットに入れ、40Gの高速回転で1時間の処理を行った。硝酸が第一群物質、水溶液の水が第二群化合物、SUSに含まれる鉄が第三群物質にあたる。途中、10分毎にリトマス紙でpHを測定した。実施例17,18のどちらもpHはpH2からほぼ運転時間に比例して上昇して30分超で飽和傾向になり、最終的にpH8に到達した。どちらの実施例でも20−30分でpH7に達しており、アルカリの中和無しの機械的な処理で中和している事が再確認された。得られた茶褐色の沈殿物は強磁性を示し、X−線回折法でマグネタイトと同定された。
実施例17と同様の装置を用いて、疑似硫酸廃液の中和試験を行った。擬似硫酸廃液として、水150ccにFeSO4・7H2O:9.17gとMnCO3:7.25gとFeS:2.64gとを加えて調整したものを使用した。金属化合物はいずれも第一群物質及び第三群物質にあたり、水が第二群化合物にあたる。この擬似硫酸廃液を40Gで12時間処理した。その結果、当初のpH6がpH9になり、黒色の沈殿を得た。沈殿物は強磁性を示し、X−線回折法でマグネタイトと同定された。硫酸廃液は完全に分解されていた。
(株)栗本鐵工所製撹拌ミルFKW6を用いて、硝酸鉄廃液(硝酸鉄10質量%水溶液)の処理を行った。ビーズとしてSUS304製:5mmφを用いた。硝酸鉄が第一群物質、水が第二群化合物、SUSに含まれる鉄が第三群物質にあたる。ミルの回転数は146回/分と遅く、低エネルギー操作と云える。1時間の処理でpH2がpH5に上昇し、硝酸鉄が分解してゲータイトが生成していた。硝酸部分は、一部還元されてアンモニアが生成されて、硝酸アンモニウムが形成されたと推定される。
(実施例21)
実施例17において用いた遊星ボールミルを用い、SUS製ポットと4mmφのSUS製ボールの代わりにセラミック製のジルコニアポットと2mmφのジルコニアボールとを使用した。処理対象の溶液として、水150ccにFe4N:2.7g、Fe2C:2.1g、MnCO3:5.2g、FeS:0.1g、モンモリロナイト0.5gを加えたものを調整した。金属化合物が第一群物質及び第三群物質にあたり、モンモリロナイトが第二群化合物及び第三群物質にあたり、水が第二群化合物にあたる。この調製溶液について、40Gの高速回転で30時間の処理を行った。その結果、異様な臭気のする溶液が得られた。pHは処理前のpH7からpH10に変化しており、生成していた黒色の沈殿物は強磁性を示し、X−線回折法でマグネタイトが確認された。異様な臭いは、処理で生じた有機物によるものと考えられる。第一群物質に含まれる炭素が還元されて一旦メタンなどの炭化水素が生じ、その炭化水素がさらに酸素や水と反応してエタノール、アセトン、酢酸などからなる酸素含有炭化水素化合物などが生じたものと推測される。
実施例21において、用いる調製溶液を、水150ccにFe4N:2.5g、Fe2C:2.5g、Fe(COO)2・2H2O:5.0g、FeS:0.1g、モンモリロナイト0.5gに変更した以外は同様の試験を行った。金属化合物が第一群物質及び第三群物質にあたり、モンモリロナイトが第二群化合物及び第三群物質にあたり、水が第二群化合物にあたる。処理前はpH5であったが処理後はpH10に変化しており、黒色の沈殿物は強磁性を示した。また、処理後の溶液には細かい泡が立っており、この状態で3日間保存しても泡は割れずに状態を維持していた。このことから、処理後の溶液に含まれる有機物の中には、実施例21において生成する酸素含有炭化水素化合物よりも、分子量が著しく高いものがあると推察される。

Claims (9)
- 一種類又は複数種の物質からなり、酸素原子、水素原子及びそれら以外の他元素原子を含む構成物に、衝突、摩擦、又はそれらの両方の結果として生じる機械エネルギーを連続的に複数回加えて、前記他元素原子を含み前記化合物群に無い変性化合物を生成させる、機械化学的変性化合物の製造方法。
- 前記構成物は、
出発原料である第一群物質、酸素原子と水素原子を含む第二群化合物、及び、脱酸素元素を含む第三群物質の、それぞれを、一種類、二種類又は三種類以上の物質によって備えており、
前記第一群物質が有する少なくとも一つの元素を含む前記変性化合物を生成させる、請求項1に記載の製造方法。 - 前記第一群物質が、窒化物、硝酸塩、亜硝酸塩、炭化物、炭酸塩の少なくともいずれか一つを含み、
前記第二群化合物が水を含み、
前記第三群物質が金属単体、単体典型元素又はこれらの化合物を含み、
前記第一群物質又は前記第三群物質のいずれかが窒素原子又は硫黄原子を含み、
前記変性化合物としてアンモニア又はその誘導体を生成させる請求項1又は2に記載の製造方法。 - 前記機械エネルギーが、ミル類で用いる回転体よりなる請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の製造方法。
- 前記機械エネルギーが、ニーダー又は摩擦板のいずれかによる内部摩擦、界面摩擦又はその両方の摩擦よりなる請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の製造方法。
- 前記第一群物質が廃酸を含み、前記第三群物質が単体金属を含み、
前記廃酸から前記変性化合物を生成することで廃酸処理を実現する請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の製造方法。 - 請求項1乃至6のいずれかに該当する製造方法により前記変性化合物を生成するための装置であって、
衝突、摩擦、又はそれらの両方の結果として生じる機械エネルギーを連続的に複数回加える際に、回転又は往復運動の少なくともいずれかを含む周期運動を行う機械化学装置。 - 前記変性化合物への変性を捉える検知管を具備する請求項7に記載の機械化学装置。
- 周期運動の熱損失を防止する機構を具備する請求項7又は8に記載の機械化学装置。
