Abstract
Description
接地接続部を有する対象物を前後方向における後方から前方へ向けて挿入することによって当該対象物が接続されるコネクタであって、
前記対象物を挿入するための挿入口から前方へ延びる穴部を有するハウジングと、
前記ハウジングの前記穴部に配置される複数の端子と、
前記ハウジングを少なくとも部分的に覆う導電性シェルと、
前記導電性シェルに電気的に接続しており、前記複数の端子で構成される端子群から前記前後方向と直交する左右方向における左方又は右方の少なくとも一方に離間して、前記接地接続部と接触するように設けられる接地用バネ片と、
前記端子群と前記接地用バネ片との間で前後方向に沿って延在して、前記端子群と前記接地用バネ片とを仕切る仕切壁とを備える。
本発明の一実施の形態に係るコネクタ100は、図2の斜視図、図3の背面図、図4の左側面図、図5の断面図に示すように、対象物101を前後方向における後方から前方へ向けて挿入することによって対象物101が接続される電子部品である。コネクタ100は、概ね、基板102と、ハウジング103と、複数の端子104と、導電性シェル105と、4つの接地用バネ片106と、2つの仕切壁107とを備える。
これまで、本発明の一実施の形態に係るコネクタ100の構成について説明した。ここから、本実施の形態に係るコネクタ100の製造方法について説明する。
これまで説明したように、本実施の形態によれば、複数の端子104で構成される端子群と、導電性シェル105に一体に形成された接地用バネ片106との間を仕切る仕切壁107が設けられる。これにより、複数の端子104と接地用バネ片106との間を大きく離間させなくても、仕切壁107によって、複数の端子104と接地用バネ片106との短絡を防ぐことができる。従って、コネクタ100のサイズが大きくなることを防ぎつつ、複数の端子104が接地電位に短絡することを防止することが可能になる。

Claims (8)
- 接地接続部を有する対象物を前後方向における後方から前方へ向けて挿入することによって当該対象物が接続されるコネクタであって、
前記対象物を挿入するための挿入口から前方へ延びる穴部を有するハウジングと、
前記ハウジングの前記穴部に配置される複数の端子と、
前記ハウジングを少なくとも部分的に覆う導電性シェルと、
前記導電性シェルに電気的に接続しており、前記複数の端子で構成される端子群から前記前後方向と直交する左右方向における左方又は右方の少なくとも一方に離間して、前記接地接続部と接触するように設けられる接地用バネ片と、
前記端子群と前記接地用バネ片との間で前後方向に沿って延在して、前記端子群と前記接地用バネ片とを仕切る仕切壁とを備えるコネクタ。 - 前記仕切壁は、前記ハウジングを構成する側壁である
請求項1に記載のコネクタ。 - 前記仕切壁は、左右方向の寸法が前方に向かって次第に大きくなることによって、前記対象物をガイドする第1ガイド部を含む

前記ハウジングの上方に配置された第1シェル部と、
前記ハウジングの下方に配置された第2シェル部と、
前記第1シェル部と前記第2シェル部とを連結する連結部とを有し、
前記連結部は、後方から見た場合に、前記仕切壁の少なくとも一部を覆う
請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。 - 前記接地用バネ片は、複数であって、
複数の前記接地用バネ片は、前記第1シェル部と前記第2シェル部との各々に設けられており、
前記第1シェル部に設けられた前記接地用バネ片は、固定端から下前方に向かって延びる片持ち梁状をなし、
前記第2シェル部に設けられた前記接地用バネ片は、固定端から上前方に向かって延びる片持ち梁状をなす
請求項4に記載のコネクタ。 - 前記第1シェル部と前記第2シェル部との各々は、左右の各端部から、前記第1シェル部と前記第2シェル部との間へ向かうように湾曲して延びる左右の曲げ部を有し、
複数の前記接地用バネ片は、それぞれ、前記固定端が前記左右の曲げ部に接続して支持される
請求項5に記載のコネクタ。 - 前記導電性シェルは、少なくとも1つの前記接地用バネ片の前記前後方向における後方に位置する端部に、前記対象物をガイドする第2ガイド部を有する
請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。 - 前記仕切壁と前記接地用バネ片とは、前記端子群の左右両方に設けられている
請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。
