Abstract
Description
様々な実施形態であって、上記の態様及び実施形態のいずれかと組み合わせて使用される実施形態では、血管閉塞装置の円筒部は、中央の長軸周りに360度方向に延びるセルからなる第2リングをさらに備える。
様々な実施形態であって、上記の態様及び実施形態のいずれかと組み合わせて使用される実施形態では、血管閉塞装置のハブは、連結要素を備える。連結要素は、その他の可能性もあるが、例えば、オス型のネジ式部材またはメス型のネジ式受容部材である。
図3A及び3Bを参照すると、血管閉塞装置100は、送達の為に、送達カテーテル160等の管状装置の内腔内において拘束姿勢に圧縮される。送達シャフト150のような長尺状の送達部材は送達カテーテル160の内腔内に配置され、ハブ112の近位において血管閉塞装置100に対して着脱可能に連結される。これにより、所望通り、血管閉塞装置100をカテーテル160に対して前進又は後退させることができ、最終的には血管閉塞装置100を体内で離脱させることができる。着脱可能な連結を形成する種々の機械的方法(インターロッキングアームなど)及び電気的方法(電解的溶解など)もあるが、送達シャフト150は、例えば、ハブ112内のメス型のネジ式継手に螺入されるオス型のネジ式継手をその遠位端に備えてもよい。送達カテーテル160、血管閉塞装置100および送達シャフト150は、共同して送達システムを形成する。
