Abstract
Description
様々な実施形態であって、上記の態様及び実施形態のいずれかと組み合わせて使用される実施形態では、血管閉塞装置の円筒部は、中央の長軸周りに360度方向に延びるセルからなる第2リングをさらに備える。
様々な実施形態であって、上記の態様及び実施形態のいずれかと組み合わせて使用される実施形態では、血管閉塞装置のハブは、連結要素を備える。連結要素は、その他の可能性もあるが、例えば、オス型のネジ式部材またはメス型のネジ式受容部材である。
図3A及び3Bを参照すると、血管閉塞装置100は、送達の為に、送達カテーテル160等の管状装置の内腔内において拘束姿勢に圧縮される。送達シャフト150のような長尺状の送達部材は送達カテーテル160の内腔内に配置され、ハブ112の近位において血管閉塞装置100に対して着脱可能に連結される。これにより、所望通り、血管閉塞装置100をカテーテル160に対して前進又は後退させることができ、最終的には血管閉塞装置100を体内で離脱させることができる。着脱可能な連結を形成する種々の機械的方法(インターロッキングアームなど)及び電気的方法(電解的溶解など)もあるが、送達シャフト150は、例えば、ハブ112内のメス型のネジ式継手に螺入されるオス型のネジ式継手をその遠位端に備えてもよい。送達カテーテル160、血管閉塞装置100および送達シャフト150は、共同して送達システムを形成する。
Claims (15)
- 中央に長軸を有し、
(a)ハブと、
(b)複数のセルを形成する複数のワイヤセグメントから成る自己展開性の支持フレームと、
(c)移行部内でセルを覆う被覆素材と、を備える血管閉塞装置であって、
前記支持フレームは、拘束姿勢から非拘束姿勢へと自ら展開することができ、該非拘束姿勢は、(ii)直径と中央の長軸に一致する軸とを有し、中央の長軸周りに360度方向に延びる前記セルから成る第1リングを備える円筒部と、(ii)該円筒部と前記ハブとの間に配置される移行部とを備える、血管閉塞装置。 - 前記第1リングは、4乃至8個のセルから成る、請求項1に記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 前記円筒部は、中央の長軸周りに360度方向に延びるセルから成る第2リングをさらに備える、請求項1または2に記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 前記移行部は、中央の長軸に一致する軸を有し、該中央の長軸周りに360度方向に延びるセルから成る第3リングを備える、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 前記複数のセルは、複数の多角形のセルからなる、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 前記多角形のセルは、4角形および6角形のセルから選択される、請求項5に記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 前記移行部は、円錐状の部分を備える、請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 前記セルから成る第1リングと、前記セルから成る第2リング、または両方は、ダイヤモンド形状のセル、6角形のセルまたはこれらの組み合わせであり、前記セルからなる第3リングは、凧形状のセルから成る、請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 前記ハブは、連結要素を備える、請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 前記連結要素は、オス型のネジ式部材またはメス型のネジ式受容部材からなる、請求項9に記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 前記血管閉塞装置は、前記支持フレームの円周周りに少なくとも1列で配列される複数のアンカーをさらに備える、請求項1乃至10のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 請求項1乃至11のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞装置および該血管閉塞装置に対して着脱可能に取り付けられる長尺状の送達部材からなるアセンブリ。
- 前記アセンブリは、
(1)長尺状の送達部材がオス型のネジ式部材を備え血管閉塞装置がメス型のネジ式受容部材を備える、及び
(2)長尺状の送達部材がメス型のネジ式受容部材を備え血管閉塞装置がオス型のネジ式部材を備える、及び
(3)長尺状の送達部材と血管閉塞装置とはインターロッキングアームを備える、うちのひとつである、請求項12に記載のアセンブリ。 - 請求項1乃至13のいずれか1項に記載の(a)血管閉塞装置またはアセンブリと、(b)管状送達装置から成る、キット。
- 前記血管閉塞装置は、圧縮され、拘束姿勢で管状装置の中に予め装てんされている、請求項14に記載のキット。
