Abstract
【解決手段】スパークプラグは、軸孔が形成され径方向の外側に張り出す張出部を備える絶縁体と、軸孔の先端側および後端側にそれぞれ挿入された中心電極および端子金具と、軸孔の内部で中心電極に接触する導電体と、導電体に接触すると共に軸孔の内部で端子金具に電気的に接続される抵抗体と、絶縁体を取り囲む筒状の主体金具と、を備えている。主体金具は、絶縁体の張出部を先端側から係止する係止部を有する棚部を備え、係止部の先端から主体金具の先端までの軸線方向の長さが7mm以上である。抵抗体の先端は、軸線方向における位置が、主体金具の係止部の先端からその長さの1/4の位置までの間に存在する。

Claims (3)
- 先端側から後端側へと軸線方向に延びる軸孔が形成され、径方向の外側に張り出す張出部を備える絶縁体と、
前記軸孔の先端側に少なくとも一部が挿入された中心電極と、
前記軸孔の後端側に少なくとも一部が挿入された端子金具と、
前記軸孔の内部で前記中心電極に接触する導電体と、
自身の先端が前記導電体の後端に接触すると共に前記軸孔の内部で前記端子金具に電気的に接続される抵抗体と、
前記絶縁体を径方向の外側から取り囲む筒状の主体金具と、を備え、
前記主体金具は、自身の径方向の内側に形成されると共に前記絶縁体の前記張出部を直接または他部材を介して先端側から係止する係止部を有する棚部を備え、自身の内周面のうち前記係止部の先端から自身の先端までの部位と前記絶縁体の外周面との間に環状の空間を形成するスパークプラグであって、
前記主体金具は、前記係止部の前記先端から前記主体金具の先端までの軸線方向の長さが7mm以上であり、
前記抵抗体の前記先端は、軸線方向における位置が、前記主体金具の前記係止部の前記先端から前記長さの1/4の位置までの間に存在するスパークプラグ。 - 前記導電体の後端は、前記係止部の前記先端よりも先端側に位置する請求項1記載のスパークプラグ。
- 前記主体金具は、自身の外周面におねじが形成され、
前記おねじは呼び径が18mm以上である請求項1又は2に記載のスパークプラグ。
