Abstract
Description
Claims (16)
- 眼科照明装置であって、
光源によって出力されかつ集光器によって集束される光ビームを伝送するように構成された光ファイバであって、
前記集光器によって集束される前記光ビームを受け取るように構成された近位部と、
手術野を照明するように前記光ビームを放射するように構成された遠位部と、
前記近位部と前記遠位部との間に延在する中心部と
を含む光ファイバ
を含み、
前記近位部のコア直径が前記中心部のコア直径および前記遠位部のコア直径より大きい、眼科照明装置。 - 前記光ファイバの前記近位部がテーパ状部分を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記光ファイバの前記近位部が、前記テーパ状部分の近位側に配置された直線状部分を含む、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記光ファイバの前記近位部のコア直径が前記光ファイバの前記中心部の前記コア直径の倍数である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記集光器が、前記光ファイバの前記近位部の前記コア直径に基づいた有効焦点距離を有するように構成されている、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記集光器が、前記集光器によって集束される前記光ビームの角度広がりが前記光ファイバの前記近位部の前記コア直径に基づくように前記光ビームを集束させるように構成されている、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記集光器が、前記集光器によって集束される前記光ビームの角度広がりが、前記光ファイバによって伝送される前記光ビームの角度広がりより小さいように前記光ビームを集束させるように構成されている、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記集光器が、前記集光器によって集束される前記光ビームの角度広がりが、前記光ファイバによって伝送される前記光ビームの角度広がりの分数倍であるように前記光ビームを集束させるように構成されている、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記光源をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記集光器をさらに含む、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記手術野内に配置されかつ前記光ファイバに結合されるように構成された手術器具をさらに含む、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記光源および前記集光器がハウジング内に配置されている、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 眼科照明方法であって、
集光器を用いて、光源によって放射される光ビームを光ファイバの近位部に集束させるステップであって、前記光ファイバが、前記近位部、遠位部、および前記近位部と前記遠位部との間に延在する中心部を含み、前記近位部のコア直径が前記中心部のコア直径および前記遠位部のコア直径より大きい、ステップと、
前記光ファイバを用いて手術野に前記光ビームを伝送するステップと
を含む方法。 - 光ビームを集束させるステップが、前記光ファイバの前記近位部の直線状部分またはテーパ状部分に前記光ビームを集束させることを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 光ビームを集束させるステップが、前記光ファイバの前記近位部の前記コア直径に基づく有効焦点距離を有する前記集光器を用いて前記光ビームを集束させることを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 光ビームを集束させるステップが、前記光ビームの角度広がりが前記光ファイバの前記近位部の前記コア直径に基づくように、前記集光器を用いて前記光ビームを集束させることを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
