Abstract

本発明は、少なくとも1つの微生物燃料電池ユニットを有する微生物燃料電池装置の運転を制御する方法に関する。該ユニットは、外部電気回路を介して互いに接続されたアノード及びカソードを具備する。この方法では、微生物燃料電池ユニットに有機物質を含む液体培地の流入液流を供給し、微生物を使用して微生物燃料電池ユニット内で有機物質の少なくとも一部を電気エネルギーに変換する。基準電極に対してアノードの電位を測定し、測定値を得て、その測定値を使用して微生物燃料電池ユニットへ供する流入液流の供給を制御する。被処理液体培地の流出液流を、微生物燃料電池ユニットから除去する。また、本発明は、アノードの電位を測定する手段と入口へ供する流入液流を調整する手段とに、機能的に接触して配置された制御器を含む微生物燃料電池に関する。【選択図】なし
