Claims (12)
- 空気などの気相媒体流から特に固体状の不純物を分離するための、特にスパイラルセパレータ(10)の方式による分離装置であって、
前記媒体流は螺旋状に形成された案内装置(42)に供給可能であり、そうすることによって前記媒体流からそれぞれの不純物を少なくとも一部分離させる分離装置において、
前記案内装置(42)は複数のスパイラルアーム(44)を有しており、該スパイラルアーム(44)は、対状をなして互いに隣接して対向配置され、前記媒体流が半径方向外方に案内されるように半径方向に延びる流動室(46)を規制していることを特徴とする分離装置。 - 前記媒体流は、前記装置のハウジング(30)の媒体入口(38)を通して軸方向に、個々のスパイラルアーム(44)が集合する前記案内装置(42)の中央領域(48)に供給されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の分離装置。
- 前記案内装置(42)のために使用されている少なくとも一部のスパイラルアーム(44)は、しかし好ましくは全部のスパイラルアーム(44)は、対状をなして互いに隣り合って流動室(46)を相互に規制しており、該流動室(46)の経路は前記案内装置(42)の前記中央領域(48)を起点として外方に拡散し、収束し、又は互いに平行に延びるスパイラルアーム(44)によって一定であることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の分離装置。
- 個々のスパイラルアーム(44)は内方に向かって前記中央領域(48)で集合し、媒体入口(38)を通して軸方向に供給された未処理空気及び/又は周囲空気は、中央領域(48)を形成している円筒板に衝突した後、一様に配分されて更に前記流動室(46)内に送られて半径方向外方に移動することを特徴とする、請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の分離装置。
- 前記案内装置(42)の前記スパイラルアーム(44)を用いた媒体流の螺旋経路(40)によって、固形物はハウジング(30)の内部で分離されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載の分離装置。
- 前記案内装置(42)のそれぞれのスパイラルアーム(44)は、少なくともそれらの共通結合領域(48)の外部でフィボナッチ螺旋の曲線経路に追従することを特徴とする、請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載の分離装置。
- 前記案内装置(42)のすべてのスパイラルアーム(44)は同じに形成されており、特に同じ長さ及びまた同じ高さで形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6の何れか一項に記載の分離装置。
- 前記案内装置(42)はプレセパレータ(10)の方式で構成されており、少なくとも前記媒体流の方向に見てプレセパレータ(10)の後段にエアフィルタシステム(12)が続いていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜7の何れか一項に記載の分離装置。
- 前記媒体流の方向に見て濾過精度の高いメインフィルタエレメント(14)の前段に濾過精度の低い安全フィルタエレメント(16)が接続されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜8の何れか一項に記載の分離装置。
- 前記媒体流はエアフィルタシステム(12)の後でダストなど万一ある固形物が除去された後で、ハウジング(30)内で媒体入口(38)と同軸に配置されている媒体出口(24)を通ってハウジング(30)から出ることを特徴とする、請求項1〜9の何れか一項に記載の分離装置。
- ハウジング(30)は、それぞれ分離された固形物が流出するための少なくとも1つの別の開口部(26)を有していることを特徴とする、請求項1〜10の何れか一項に記載の分離装置。
- ハウジング(30)は複数部分から構成されており、好ましくは一方ではエアフィルタシステム(12)のために、及び他方では前記案内装置(42)のために互いから再び取り外すことができるハウジング部分(18、28)を有していることを特徴とする、請求項1〜11の何れか一項に記載の分離装置。
