Abstract
Description
本出願は、2015年7月21日付の韓国特許出願第10−2015−0102831号に基づく優先権の利益を主張し、当該韓国特許出願の文献に開示された全ての内容は本明細書の一部として含まれる。
本発明は、端子プレートおよびBMSが直接連結された構造の電池モジュールに関するものである。
複数の電池セルが、側面が相互隣接した状態で配列されている電池セル積層体と、
前記電池セル積層体の両側端部に装着されている一対のセルフレームと、
前記電池セルの電極端子を電気的に連結する端子プレートと、
前記電池セル積層体の一側面に装着されており、前記端子プレートに直接連結されているBMS(Battery Management System)と、を含む構造からなる。
前記電池セルの電極端子に接触し長方形状からなる端子連結部と、
前記端子連結部の一辺から伸びて形成され、セルフレーム上端からBMS方向に垂直に折り曲げられた状態でBMSに連結されるBMS連結部と、からなる。
前記電池セル積層体の上面に取り付けられ、前記電池セル積層体の横向きの大きさに対応して長方形状からなる印刷回路基板(PCB:Printed Circuit Boardd)と、
前記PCB上に形成されており、電圧センシング連結部に電気的に連結されており、電池セルの電圧を測定して電池の作動を制御するIC(Integrated Circuit;集積回路)と、
前記端子プレートに連結されるように、PCBの外周面に沿って離隔して形成されている電圧センシング連結部と、を含んでいる。
前記端子プレートと接触する第1接触部と、
前記第1接触部に電気的に断絶された状態で前記ICに電気的に連結されている第2接触部と、からなり、
前記第1接触部および第2接触部は端子プレートに一緒にソルダリング(soldering)されて、前記端子プレートがICに電気的に連結される構造である。

Claims (19)
- 複数の電池セルが、側面が相互隣接した状態で配列されている電池セル積層体と、
前記電池セル積層体の両側端部に装着されている一対のセルフレームと、
前記電池セルの電極端子を電気的に連結する端子プレートと、
前記電池セル積層体の一側面に装着されており、前記端子プレートに直接連結されているBMS(Battery Management System)と、
を含むことを特徴とする、電池モジュール。 - 前記電池セルは円筒形電池セルであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池セル積層体は、縦向きの大きさ対比横向きの大きさが相対的に大きい構造で積層および配列されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記セルフレームは、電池セル積層体の一側端部が装着される第1セルフレームと、他側端部が装着される第2セルフレームとからなり、前記第1セルフレームと第2セルフレームとは締結部材によって相互結合されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記第1セルフレームと第2セルフレームそれぞれは電池セルの一側端部および他側端部それぞれに対応する形状の収納部が内側に形成されており、前記電池セルの電極端子を露出するための開口が外面に穿孔されていることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記第1セルフレームおよび第2セルフレームそれぞれの収納部の間には冷媒が流動できる貫通路が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記端子プレートにはセルフレームの貫通路に対応する形状の貫通口が穿孔されていることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記端子プレートは、電池セルの電極端子に接続された状態で、セルフレームの外面に装着されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記端子プレートは少なくとも二つ以上の前記電池セルを直列、または直列および並列に連結することを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池セルは2P−13S構造で連結されていることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記端子プレートは、
前記電池セルの電極端子に接触し長方形状からなる端子連結部と、
前記端子連結部の一辺から伸びて形成され、セルフレーム上端からBMS方向に垂直に折り曲げられた状態でBMSに連結するBMS連結部と、
からなることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記セルフレーム上端には、BMS連結部の折り曲げをガイドし固定できるように、BMS連結部に対応する形状の湾入溝が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記端子連結部で、電池セルの電極端子に対応するそれぞれの部位には、端子連結部と電極端子の溶接のためのスリット(slits)が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記BMSは、
前記電池セル積層体の上面に取り付けられ、前記電池セル積層体の横向きの大きさに対応して長方形状からなる印刷回路基板(PCB:Printed Circuit Boardd)と、
前記PCB上に形成されており、電圧センシング連結部に電気的に連結されており、電池セルの電圧を測定して電池の作動を制御するIC(Integrated Circuit;集積回路)と、
前記端子プレートに連結されるように、PCBの外周面に沿って離隔して形成されている電圧センシング連結部と、
を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記電圧センシング連結部は平面上長方形状からなることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電圧センシング連結部は、
前記端子プレートと接触する第1接触部と、
前記第1接触部に電気的に断絶された状態で前記ICに電気的に連結されている第2接触部と、
からなり、
前記第1接触部および第2接触部は端子プレートと一緒にソルダリング(soldering)されて、前記端子プレートがICに電気的に連結されることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の電池モジュール。 - 請求項1による電池モジュールを含むことを特徴とする、電池パック。
- 請求項17による電池パックを含むことを特徴とする、デバイス。
- 前記デバイスは、電気自転車、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、またはプラグインハイブリッド電気自動車であることを特徴とする、請求項18に記載のデバイス。
