Abstract
Description
本発明は2015年5月29日に出願された米国特許仮出願第62/168,016号の優先権および利益を主張する。
本明細書に記載されているのは、広い分子量分布を有する少なくとも1種のポリプロピレンを含んでいる熱可塑性加硫物である。
c=KDRIIDRI/(dn/dc)
この式で、KDRIはDRIを較正することによって決定される定数であり、(dn/dc)はその系の屈折率の増分である。屈折率nは、TCBについて145℃、λ=690nmで1.500である。本発明およびその特許請求の範囲の目的のためには、プロピレンポリマーについて(dn/dc)=0.104、ブテンポリマーについて0.098、その他について0.1である。SEC法のこの記載全体にわたるパラメーターの単位は、濃度がg/cm3単位で表され、分子量がダルトン単位で表され、固有粘度がdL/g単位で表される等である。

この式で、Rはヒドロカルビル基であり、Xはハロゲン原子であり、nは0〜4である。本発明に使用される好適なチタン化合物としては、4ハロゲン化チタン、たとえばTiCl4、TiBr4および/またはTiI4;3ハロゲン化アルコキシチタン、たとえばTi(OCH3)Cl3、Ti(OC2H5)Cl3、Ti(O n − C4H9)Cl3、Ti(OC2H5)Br3および/またはTi(OイソC4H9)Br3;2ハロゲン化2アルコキシチタン、たとえばTi(OCH3)2Cl2、Ti(OC2H5)2Cl2、Ti(O n − C4H9)2Cl2および/またはTi(OC2H5)2Br2;モノハロゲン化トリアルコキシチタン、たとえばTi(OCH3)3Cl、Ti(OC2H5)3Cl、Ti(O n − C4H9)3Clおよび/またはTi(OC2H5)3Br;および/またはテトラアルコキシチタン、たとえばTi(OCH3)4、Ti(OC2H5)4および/またはTi(O n − C4H9)4が挙げられる。

この式で、MFR(A)はチーグラーナッタ触媒および第1の外部電子供与体の存在の下でプロピレンモノマーを重合することによって形成されたホモポリマーの第1のメルトフローレートであり、MFR(B)はチーグラーナッタ触媒および第2の外部電子供与体の存在の下でプロピレンモノマーを重合することによって形成されたホモポリマーの第2のメルトフローレートであり、かつMFR(A)はMFR(B)よりも低いものである。
非芳香族内部電子供与体を含んでいるチーグラーナッタ触媒;
式R1 2Si(OR2)2を有する第1の外部電子供与体であって、この式で、各R1は独立に1〜10個の炭素原子を含んでいるヒドロカルビル基であり、このヒドロカルビル基中のSiに隣接する炭素が2級または3級の炭素原子であり、各R2は独立に1〜10個の炭素原子を含んでいるヒドロカルビル基である、第1の外部電子供与体;および
式R3 nSi(OR4)4−nを有する第2の外部電子供与体であって、この式で、それぞれのR3およびR4は独立に1〜10個の炭素原子を含んでいるヒドロカルビル基であり、nは1、2または3であり、かつ第2の外部電子供与体が第1の外部電子供与体と異なっている、第2の外部電子供与体

Claims (18)
- (i)ゴム;
(ii)広い分子量分布のポリプロピレンであって、
(a)4超の分子量分布(Mw/Mn);
(b)1g/10分超のメルトフローレート(230℃および2.16kgでASTM D1238条件L);および
(c)380,000ダルトン超の重量平均分子量(Mw)
を有する、広い分子量分布のポリプロピレン;および
(iii)油;
を含んでいる熱可塑性加硫物であって、前記広い分子量分布のポリプロピレンを含んでいる連続的な熱可塑性成分の中に分散されかつ少なくとも部分的に架橋されたゴム相を含んでいる、熱可塑性加硫物。 - 前記熱可塑性加硫物が、前記熱可塑性加硫物の全重量基準で、約7重量%〜約45重量%の前記ゴムを含んでいる、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性加硫物。
- 前記熱可塑性加硫物が、前記熱可塑性加硫物の全重量基準で、約3重量%〜約60重量%の前記広い分子量分布のポリプロピレンを含んでいる、請求項1または2に記載の熱可塑性加硫物。
- 前記広い分子量分布のポリプロピレンが、190℃で伸長レオメーターを使用して測定された少なくとも20cNの融解物粘度を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の熱可塑性加硫物。
- 前記広い分子量分布のポリプロピレンが5超の分子量分布を有する、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の熱可塑性加硫物。
- 前記広い分子量分布のポリプロピレンが、190℃で10%の一定歪みで0.1ラジアン/秒の角周波数および100ラジアン/秒の角周波数で(0.1と100ラジアン/秒との角周波数比で)測定された17以上の粘度比を有する、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の熱可塑性加硫物。
- 前記広い分子量分布のポリプロピレンが、2g/10分超のメルトフローレートを有する、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の熱可塑性加硫物。
- 前記広い分子量分布のポリプロピレンが、150g/10分超の高負荷MFR(230℃、21.6kgでのASTM D1338)を有する、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の熱可塑性加硫物。
- 前記広い分子量分布のポリプロピレンが、28,000Pa・秒超のゼロせん断粘度を有する、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の熱可塑性加硫物。
- 前記広い分子量分布のポリプロピレンが、55,000ダルトン超の数平均分子量(Mn)を有する、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の熱可塑性加硫物。
- 前記広い分子量分布のポリプロピレンが、400,000ダルトン超の重量平均分子量(Mw)を有する、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の熱可塑性加硫物。
- 前記広い分子量分布のポリプロピレンが、1,000,000ダルトン超のz平均分子量(Mz)を有する、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の熱可塑性加硫物。
- 前記広い分子量分布のポリプロピレンが、触媒系の存在の下で、ある温度および圧力でプロピレンモノマーを接触させて、少なくとも50モル%のプロピレンを含んでいるプロピレン樹脂を製造する工程を含むプロセスによってつくられ、前記触媒系が
非芳香族内部電子供与体を含んでいるチーグラーナッタ触媒;
式R1 2Si(OR2)2を有する第1の外部電子供与体であって、この式で、各R1は独立に1〜10個の炭素原子を含んでいるヒドロカルビル基であり、このヒドロカルビル基中のSiに隣接する炭素が2級または3級の炭素原子であり、また各R2は独立に1〜10個の炭素原子を含んでいるヒドロカルビル基である、第1の外部電子供与体;および
式R3 nSi(OR4)4−nを有する第2の外部電子供与体であって、この式で、それぞれのR3およびR4は独立に1〜10個の炭素原子を含んでいるヒドロカルビル基であり、nは1、2、または3であり、かつ第2の外部電子供与体は第1の外部電子供与体と異なる、第2の外部電子供与体;
を含んでいる、
請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の熱可塑性加硫物。 - 前記熱可塑性加硫物が、1種以上の追加の熱可塑性樹脂をさらに含んでいる、請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の熱可塑性加硫物。
- 前記熱可塑性加硫物が、広い分子量分布のポリプロピレンではないポリプロピレンをさらに含んでいる、請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載の熱可塑性加硫物。
- 前記熱可塑性加硫物が、プロピレンならびに約5〜約30重量%の、エチレンおよび/またはC4〜C12のαオレフィンから選ばれた1種以上のコモノマーを含んでいるプロピレンベースのエラストマーをさらに含んでいる、請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の熱可塑性加硫物。
- 前記プロピレンベースのエラストマーが、約9重量%〜約15重量%のエチレン由来単位を有し、かつ(i) 約0.5〜約3.0g/10分のメルトインデックス;(ii)約0.5〜約7.0g/10分のメルトフローレート;および(iii)約10〜約40のムーニー粘度を有するプロピレン−エチレンコポリマーである、請求項16に記載の熱可塑性加硫物。
- 前記熱可塑性加硫物が、前記熱可塑性加硫物の全重量基準で、約10重量%〜約55重量%の油を含んでいる、請求項1〜17のいずれか1項に記載の熱可塑性加硫物。
