Abstract
Description
本出願は、2015年3月30日に出願された米国暫定特許出願第62/140,013号、「マルチ材料コンベヤ部品の製造方法」の優先権を主張する。この出願の内容は引用により本明細書に組み込まれている。
Claims (16)
- コンベヤ部品を製造する方法において:
熱成型材料を含むドラフト基板を提供するステップと;
前記熱成型材料に熱を加えて前記ドラフト基板の第1表面を、前記ドラフト基板の反対側の第2表面を結合可能な状態に遷移させることなく、結合可能な状態に遷移させるステップと;
前記第1面が結合可能な状態にある間に溶融した射出成型材料を前記第1基板に注入するステップと;
を具えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記熱成型材料がUHMWを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項2に記載の方法において、前記熱を加えるステップが、前記第1面を選択した温度範囲に加熱する一方で、前記第2面を当該選択した温度範囲より低い温度に維持するステップを具えることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項3に記載の方法において、前記選択した温度範囲が約392°F乃至約400°Fであることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法がさらに、前記射出成型材料と熱成型材料を冷却して最終形とするステップを具えることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法がさらに、結合状態にあるときに前記熱成型材料上に磁気要素を挿入するステップを具え、前記溶解した射出成型材料で、前記熱成型材料と前記射出成型材料の間にある前記磁気要素を密封することを特徴とする方法。
- コンベヤ部品を製造する方法において:
熱成型材料を、型面を有する型穴に挿入するステップと;
前記熱成型材料に圧力と熱をかけて、前記型面に熱成型基板を形成するステップと;
前記熱成型基板の第1面が結合可能な状態にあり、前記熱成型基板の反対側の第2表面が結合しない状態にあるときに、前記圧力と熱を取り除くステップと;
前記型穴を閉じるステップと:
溶融した射出成型材料を前記型穴に注入して、当該溶融した射出成型材料が前記熱成型基板の第1面を結合状態に維持しながら、当該第1面に接触して結合するようにするステップと;
を具えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項7に記載の方法において、前記熱成型基板を挿入するステップが、前記熱成型基板を前記型穴上方の移動可能なホルダに配置するステップと、前記熱成型基板を展性にするステップと、前記熱成型基板を前記型穴内に押し入れるステップと、を具えることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項7に記載の方法において、前記形成するステップが前記第2面を前記型穴の形状に一致させるステップを具えることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項7に記載の方法において、前記熱成型材料がUHMWを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項10に記載の方法において、前記第1面が選択された温度範囲に届き、前記第2面が前記選択した温度範囲より低い温度を維持しているときに、前記熱と圧力を除去することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項11に記載の方法において、前記選択した温度範囲が約392°F乃至約400°Fであることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項7に記載の方法がさらに、前記射出成型材料と熱形成材料を冷却して最終形にするステップを具えることを特徴とする方法。
- コンベヤ部品において:
射出成型材料で形成されたベース部分と;
前記射出成型材料に化学的に結合した熱形成材料を含む上側層と;
を具えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項14に記載のコンベヤ部品において、前記コンベヤ部品が、コンベヤベルトモジュールと、位置リミッタと、羽根ライナのうちの一つを具えることを特徴とするコンベヤ部品。
- 請求項14に記載のコンベヤ部品がさらに、前記熱成型材料と前記射出成型材料の間に挟んだ磁気要素を具えることを特徴とするコンベヤ部品。
