- コアレイヤ信号およびエンハンストレイヤ信号を、互いに異なるパワーレベルで結合(combine)して、マルチプレキシングされた信号を生成する結合器と、
前記マルチプレキシングされた信号のパワーを、前記コアレイヤ信号に相応するパワーに低下させるパワーノーマライザと、
前記コアレイヤ信号および前記エンハンストレイヤ信号にともに適用されるインターリービングを行い、タイムインターリービングされた信号を生成するタイムインターリーバと、
フィジカルレイヤパイプ(Physical Layer Pipes;PLPs)のサイズ情報および、前記コアレイヤ信号と前記エンハンストレイヤ信号に共有されるタイムインターリーバ情報をシグナリングするためのプリアンブルを含む放送信号フレームを生成するフレームビルダとを含むことを特徴とする放送信号フレーム生成装置。 - 前記フレームビルダは、
ブートストラップを生成するブートストラップ生成部と、
前記プリアンブルを生成するプリアンブル生成部と、
前記タイムインターリービングされた信号に相応するスーパーインポーズドペイロードを生成するスーパーインポーズドペイロード生成部とを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の放送信号フレーム生成装置。 - 前記サイズ情報は、前記フィジカルレイヤパイプに割り当てられたデータセルの個数に基づいて設定されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の放送信号フレーム生成装置。
- 前記プリアンブルは、前記フィジカルレイヤパイプの開始位置情報およびタイプ情報を含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の放送信号フレーム生成装置。
- 前記プリアンブルは、
前記フィジカルレイヤパイプを識別するためのPLP識別情報と、
階層的な分割に相応するレイヤを識別するためのレイヤ識別情報とを含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の放送信号フレーム生成装置。 - 前記サイズ情報および前記開始位置情報は、
前記レイヤ識別情報に相応する条件文の条件判断なく、前記フィジカルレイヤパイプのそれぞれに対して前記プリアンブルに含まれることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の放送信号フレーム生成装置。 - 前記タイプ情報は、
前記フィジカルレイヤパイプのそれぞれに対して、前記レイヤ識別情報と予め設定された値とを比較した結果に応じて選択的に前記プリアンブルに含まれることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の放送信号フレーム生成装置。 - 前記放送信号フレーム生成装置は、
前記エンハンストレイヤ信号のパワーを低減してパワーリデューストエンハンストレイヤ信号を生成するインジェクションレベルコントローラをさらに含み、
前記結合器は、
前記コアレイヤ信号および前記パワーリデューストエンハンストレイヤ信号を結合して、前記マルチプレキシングされた信号を生成することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の放送信号フレーム生成装置。 - 前記プリアンブルは、
前記フィジカルレイヤパイプのそれぞれに対して、前記レイヤ識別情報と予め設定された値とを比較した結果に応じて選択的に前記インジェクションレベルコントローラに相応するインジェクションレベル情報を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の放送信号フレーム生成装置。 - 前記パワーノーマライザは、
ノーマライジングファクター(normalizing factor)に相応し、前記マルチプレキシングされた信号のパワーを、前記結合器によって上昇した分だけ低下させることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の放送信号フレーム生成装置。 - 前記インジェクションレベルコントローラは、スケーリングファクターに相応し、
前記ノーマライジングファクターおよび前記スケーリングファクターはそれぞれ、0より大きく、かつ、1より小さい値であり、
前記スケーリングファクターは、前記インジェクションレベルコントローラに相応するパワー減少が大きいほど減少し、
前記ノーマライジングファクターは、前記インジェクションレベルコントローラに相応するパワー減少が大きいほど増加することを特徴とする請求項10に記載の放送信号フレーム生成装置。 - 前記エンハンストレイヤ信号は、
前記コアレイヤ信号に相応するコアレイヤデータの復元に相応するキャンセレーション(cancellation)に基づいて復元されるエンハンストレイヤデータに相応することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の放送信号フレーム生成装置。 - コアレイヤ信号およびエンハンストレイヤ信号を、互いに異なるパワーレベルで結合して、マルチプレキシングされた信号を生成するステップと、
前記マルチプレキシングされた信号のパワーを、前記コアレイヤ信号に相応するパワーに低下させるステップと、
前記コアレイヤ信号および前記エンハンストレイヤ信号にともに適用されるインターリービングを行い、タイムインターリービングされた信号を生成するステップと、
フィジカルレイヤパイプ(Physical Layer Pipes;PLPs)のサイズ情報および、前記コアレイヤ信号と前記エンハンストレイヤ信号に共有されるタイムインターリーバ情報をシグナリングするためのプリアンブルを含む放送信号フレームを生成するステップとを含むことを特徴とする放送信号フレーム生成方法。 - 前記放送信号フレームを生成するステップは、
ブートストラップを生成するステップと、
前記プリアンブルを生成するステップと、
前記タイムインターリービングされた信号に相応するスーパーインポーズドペイロードを生成するステップとを含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の放送信号フレーム生成方法。 - 前記サイズ情報は、フィジカルレイヤパイプに割り当てられたデータセルの個数に基づいて設定されることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の放送信号フレーム生成方法。
- 前記プリアンブルは、前記フィジカルレイヤパイプの開始位置情報およびタイプ情報を含むことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の放送信号フレーム生成方法。
- 前記プリアンブルは、
前記フィジカルレイヤパイプを識別するためのPLP識別情報と、
階層的な分割に相応するレイヤを識別するためのレイヤ識別情報とを含むことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の放送信号フレーム生成方法。 - 前記サイズ情報および前記開始位置情報は、
