タイプ1のPLPが存在する場合、タイプ1のPLP後に送信される
フレーム内で2つ以上のサブスライス(sub-slice)形態に分散して送信される
サブスライスの個数が増加するにつれてタイムダイバーシティ(time diversity)が増加し、パワー消耗(power consumption)の効果を有する
この時、タイプ1のPLPは、分散しない(nun-dispersed)PLPに相応でき、タイプ2のPLPは、分散した(dispersed)PLPに相応できる。この時、分散しないPLPは、連続的なデータセルインデックス(contiguous data cell indices)に割り当てられる。この時、分散したPLPは、2つ以上のサブスライスに分けられて割り当てられる。

Claims (8)
- 放送信号フレームに相応する受信信号にタイムデインターリービングを適用するように構成されたタイムデインターリーバであって、前記放送信号フレームが、フィジカルレイヤパイプ(PLPs)の開始位置情報およびインジェクションレベル情報をシグナリングするためのプリアンブルを含む、タイムデインターリーバと、
前記放送信号フレームに相応するコアレイヤデータを復元するように構成されたコアレイヤBICMデコーダと、
前記コアレイヤデータに相応するキャンセレーションを行い、エンハンストレイヤシンボルを抽出するように構成されたエンハンストレイヤシンボル抽出器と、
前記エンハンストレイヤシンボルに相応するエンハンストレイヤデータを復元するように構成されたエンハンストレイヤBICMデコーダと、
を備え、
前記開始位置情報は、コアレイヤまたはエンハンストレイヤを識別するためのレイヤ識別情報とは独立してシグナリングされ、前記インジェクションレベル情報は、前記レイヤ識別情報を所定の値と比較した結果に基づいてシグナリングされる、放送信号受信装置。 - 前記開始位置情報は、フィジカルレイヤパイプの1番目のデータセルに相応するインデックスと同一である、請求項1に記載の放送信号受信装置。
- 前記放送信号フレームは、
前記放送信号フレームの先頭に位置するブートストラップと、
前記ブートストラップの直後に位置する前記プリアンブルと、
前記プリアンブルの直後に位置するペイロードと、
を含む、請求項2に記載の放送信号受信装置。 - 前記開始位置情報は、セルアドレッシングスキームを用いて前記フィジカルレイヤパイプの開始位置を指示する、請求項2に記載の放送信号受信装置。
- 前記開始位置情報は、forループにおいて前記フィジカルレイヤパイプを識別するためのPLP識別情報および前記レイヤ識別情報のうち前記PLP識別情報のみに対応するインデックスを用いることによって、前記フィジカルレイヤパイプのそれぞれに対して前記プリアンブルに含まれる、請求項3に記載の放送信号受信装置。
- 前記開始位置情報は、NUM_PLPループ内の全てのフィジカルレイヤパイプに含まれている、請求項5に記載の放送信号受信装置。
- 前記放送信号フレームはマルチプレキシングされた信号に相応し、前記マルチプレキシングされた信号は、コアレイヤ信号およびパワーリデューストエンハンストレイヤ信号の結合に相応する、請求項3に記載の放送信号受信装置。
- 放送信号受信方法であって、
放送信号フレームに相応する受信信号にタイムデインターリービングを適用するステップであって、前記放送信号フレームが、フィジカルレイヤパイプ(PLPs)の開始位置情報およびインジェクションレベル情報をシグナリングするためのプリアンブルを含む、ステップと、
コアレイヤBICMデコーダが、前記放送信号フレームに相応するコアレイヤデータを復元するステップと、
前記コアレイヤデータに相応するキャンセレーションを行うことにより、エンハンストレイヤシンボルを抽出するステップと、
エンハンストレイヤBICMデコーダが、前記エンハンストレイヤシンボルに相応するエンハンストレイヤデータを復元するステップと、
を備え、
前記開始位置情報は、フィジカルレイヤパイプの1番目のデータセルに相応するインデックスと同一であり、
前記開始位置情報は、コアレイヤまたはエンハンストレイヤを識別するためのレイヤ識別情報とは独立してシグナリングされ、前記インジェクションレベル情報は、前記レイヤ識別情報と所定値との比較結果に基づいてシグナリングされる、方法。
