Claims (24)
- 光検出デバイスであって、
上部面及び底部面を備えるハウジングであって、前記ハウジングは、ハウジング軸線に沿って前記上部面と前記底部面との間に延在する、ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングに接続され、閉位置と開位置との間で選択的に移動されるようになっている支持部材であって、前記支持部材は更に、前記底部面及び前記支持部材が作業面と接触すると共に前記支持部材が前記開位置にある時に、前記光検出デバイスを直立位置に維持するようになっており、前記ハウジング軸線は、前記底部面及び前記支持部材が前記作業面と接触すると共に前記支持部材が前記開位置にある時に、垂直軸線と少なくとも0度かつ45度以下の角度をなす、支持部材と、を備える、光検出デバイス。 - 前記底部面は、前記支持部材が前記閉位置にある時に前記支持部材を受け入れるようになっている凹部を備え、前記支持部材は、前記閉位置にある時に前記光検出デバイスの前記底部面と面一である、請求項1に記載の光検出デバイス。
- 前記ハウジングの前記底部面の前記凹部は、前記支持部材が前記閉位置にある時にスナップ嵌合関係で前記支持部材に係合するようになっている、請求項2に記載の光検出デバイス。
- 前記支持部材は、ヒンジにより前記ハウジングに接続されている、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の光検出デバイス。
- 前記ヒンジは、前記ハウジングの前記底部面に形成された第2の凹部に配設される、請求項4に記載の光検出デバイス。
- 前記第2の凹部は、前記支持部材が前記開位置にある時に前記支持部材に係合するようになっているレッジを備える、請求項5に記載の光検出デバイス。
- 前記ヒンジは、リビングヒンジである、請求項4〜6のいずれか一項に記載の光検出デバイス。
- 前記ヒンジは、ラチェットヒンジである、請求項4〜6のいずれか一項に記載の光検出デバイス。
- 前記支持部材は、前記ハウジング軸線と前記垂直軸線との間に形成される前記角度が調整可能であるようになっている、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の光検出デバイス。
- 前記試料は液体試料を含み、前記支持部材は更に、前記液体試料の上部面が前記垂直軸線に実質的に直交するように、前記底部面及び前記支持部材が前記作業面と接触すると共に前記支持部材が前記開位置にある時に、前記光検出デバイスを前記直立位置に維持するようになっている、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の光検出デバイス。
- 前記支持部材は、第1の主表面及び第2の主表面を備え、前記第2の主表面は、前記支持部材が前記閉位置にある時には前記ハウジングの前記底部面と接触し、前記開位置にある時には前記作業面と接触している、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の光検出デバイス。
- 前記ハウジングは、前記上部面と前記底部面との間にそれぞれ延在する、前部面及び後部面を更に備え、前記支持部材は、前記閉位置にある時には前記後部面と接触している、請求項1に記載の光検出デバイス。
- 前記後部面は、前記支持部材が前記閉位置にある時に前記支持部材を受け入れるようになっている凹部を備える、請求項12に記載の光検出デバイス。
- 前記支持部材は、前記支持部材が前記閉位置にある時に前記後部面と面一である、請求項13に記載の光検出デバイス。
- 前記支持部材は、ヒンジにより前記ハウジングの前記後部面に接続されている、請求項12〜14のいずれか一項に記載の光検出デバイス。
- 光検出デバイスのハウジングに取り付けられた、前記光検出デバイスの支持部材を閉位置から開位置まで移動させるために、前記光検出デバイスの前記支持部材に係合することであって、前記ハウジングは、ハウジング軸線に沿って前記ハウジングの上部面と底部面との間に延在する、光検出デバイスの支持部材に係合することと、
作業面上に前記光検出デバイスを配置することであって、前記支持部材は、前記ハウジングの前記底部面及び前記支持部材が前記作業面と接触すると共に前記支持部材が前記開位置にある時に、前記光検出デバイスを直立位置に維持するようになっており、前記ハウジング軸線は、前記底部面及び前記支持部材が前記作業面と接触すると共に前記支持部材が前記開位置にある時に、垂直軸線と少なくとも0度かつ45度以下の角度を形成する、光検出デバイスを配置することと、を含む、方法。 - 前記光検出デバイスの前記支持部材に係合することは、
前記支持部材の一部分を把持することと、
前記閉位置から前記開位置まで前記支持部材を回転させることと、を含む、請求項16に記載の方法。 - 前記光検出デバイスの前記支持部材に係合することは、
前記ハウジング軸線と前記垂直軸線との間に形成される前記角度を選択することと、
前記支持部材の一部分を把持することと、
前記光検出デバイスが前記作業面に配置された時に前記選択した角度が形成されるように、前記閉位置から前記開位置まで前記支持部材を回転させることと、を更に含む、請求項16に記載の方法。 - 光検出デバイスであって、
上部面及び底部面を備えるハウジングであって、前記ハウジングは、ハウジング軸線に沿って前記上部面と前記底部面との間に延在する、ハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内に配置され、前記ハウジング内に配置された試料が射出した光を検出するようになっている検出器と、
前記光検出デバイスの傾斜角を判定するようになっている傾斜検出構成要素であって、前記傾斜角は、前記ハウジング軸線と垂直軸線との間に形成される角度からなる、傾斜検出構成要素と、を備える、光検出デバイス。 - 前記傾斜検出構成要素は更に、前記デバイスが選択された傾斜角で配設された時に、ユーザにフィードバックを提供するようになっている、請求項19に記載の光検出デバイス。
- 前記傾斜検出構成要素は更に、前記デバイスが不適当な傾斜角で配設された時に、ユーザにフィードバックを提供するようになっている、請求項19又は20に記載の光検出デバイス。
- 前記ハウジングに接続されたディスプレイを更に備え、前記フィードバックは、前記ディスプレイ上の読出しを含む、請求項20又は21に記載の光検出デバイス。
- 前記フィードバックは、触覚フィードバックを含む、請求項20又は21に記載の光検出デバイス。
- 前記傾斜検出構成要素は、傾斜センサを備える、請求項19〜23のいずれか一項に記載の光検出デバイス。
