Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a semiconductor sensor device.
Conventionally, a semiconductor sensor device that detects pressure is known. In such a semiconductor sensor device, for example, a glass pedestal is joined to the semiconductor sensor element in order to reduce the influence of stress, thereby increasing the rigidity. In this structure, since the external force does not propagate to the semiconductor sensor element, the influence of the external force is greatly suppressed, but the number of manufacturing steps of the semiconductor sensor device increases and the cost increases. In addition, it has been confirmed that deterioration of basic characteristics occurs in reliability tests such as a high temperature and high humidity test.
In semiconductor sensor devices, component mounting using adhesive resin is often used. However, if there are multiple adhesive resin adhesive parts on the path of the pressure medium, the number of places where the pressure medium leaks increases. Leading to a decline. In order to solve this problem, there has been proposed a structure in which a semiconductor sensor element is directly mounted on a metal or a molded resin part serving as a pressure introducing portion (see, for example, Patent Document 1). In this structure, the adhesive part is limited to only one part between the pressure introducing part and the semiconductor sensor element, thereby minimizing the part where the pressure medium leaks and improving the reliability.
However, in the above structure, there is a concern that the adhesiveness to the component on which the semiconductor sensor element is mounted, the adhesive strength is lowered due to the remaining mold release material of the resin molded component, and the resin is not cured. Further, since the semiconductor sensor element is mounted on the pressure introducing portion, there is a concern that stress is directly transmitted to the semiconductor sensor element when the product is attached. For these reasons, it is difficult to ensure reliability with the above structure.
In addition, with the above structure, it is difficult to manufacture with a mounting machine that is normally used. In particular, it is necessary to introduce a dedicated device capable of heating the semiconductor sensor element and the lead frame at the same time for connection to the semiconductor sensor element. For these reasons, it is difficult to reduce the manufacturing cost with the above structure.
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and an object of the present invention is to provide a semiconductor sensor device with reduced manufacturing cost while ensuring reliability.

[Structure of Semiconductor Sensor Device According to First Embodiment]
First, the structure of the
In the present embodiment, for convenience, the
In the
The
However, gold (Au) plating may be applied to the
A
The
The
The
The
A
The
The distortion (or displacement) of the diaphragm of the
Thus, by adopting a structure that receives the pressure medium on the lower surface side of the diaphragm of the
As shown in FIG. 3B, a flow
In other words, the pressure
Each cross section (transverse cross section) of the first to third portions can be, for example, circular. In that case, the diameter of the pressure
In this way, the flow rate of the pressure medium is limited by the flow
In addition, columnar positioning portions 89 (for example, four locations) are provided on the upper surface of the
The
In the
Further, instead of using a glass pedestal as in the prior art, the thickness of the

Next, in the steps shown in FIGS. 6A and 6B,

Next, in the step shown in FIG. 8B, the
In plan view, the distance from the center 20c of the
なお、図9(b)は図9(a)のA−A線に沿う断面図である。
Next, in the process shown in FIGS. 9A and 9B, the
Next, in the process shown in FIG. 10A, a sealing adhesive resin 54 (first adhesive resin) is applied in an annular shape (for example, an annular shape) outside the pressure
The area where the sealing
As the sealing
Next, in the step shown in FIG. 10B, the
Next, in the steps shown in FIGS. 11, 12, and 13, heat welding is performed. Specifically, the tip of each positioning
Thereafter, the
If necessary, as shown in FIG. 14, the
Note that it is preferable that the
As described above, the
<Modification of First Embodiment>
FIG. 15 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a semiconductor sensor device according to a modification of the first embodiment, and shows a cross section corresponding to FIG. In the first embodiment, the example in which the pressure medium is sealed by the

However, the present invention is not limited to the embodiment and the modification described above, and the embodiment described above without departing from the scope described in the claims.
