Abstract
Description
Claims (13)
- 積層複合素材をドレープ成形する方法であって、
前記積層複合素材を成形ツール上に配置することと、
ドレープ成形中に前記積層複合素材に付与される成形力を方向変更することにより、前記積層複合素材のプライ間における、皺を形成する動きを相殺することと、を含む方法。 - 前記成形力は、前記積層複合素材の周辺部分に挟み込まれた1つ以上の引張部材に張力を付与することによって、方向変更される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記成形力は、1つ以上の引張部材の挟み込み端部を前記積層複合素材の複合材レイアップに挟み込むとともに、前記1つ以上の引張部材の自由端の位置を前記複合材レイアップに対して固定して、ドレープ成形中に付与される成形力によって、前記1つ以上の引張部材に張力がかかるようにすることにより、方向変更され、前記1つ以上の引張部材は、前記積層複合素材のプライ間の動きを抑制する、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 1つ以上の引張部材を、前記積層複合素材の複合材レイアップに、前記複合材レイアップから所定方向に延びるように挟み込むことにより、前記1つ以上の引張部材に成形力が付与されると、前記1つ以上の引張部材によって、前記積層複合素材に張力が付与されるようにすることをさらに含む、請求項2又は3に記載の方法。
- 前記1つ以上の引張部材は、前記複合材レイアップの0°繊維方向と90°繊維方向との間の角度で前記積層複合素材から延出するように、前記複合材レイアップに挟み込まれる、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 1つ以上の引張部材は、前記積層複合素材における所定のプライ特性を有する少なくとも1つのプライに隣接するように、前記積層複合素材に挟み込まれる、請求項1〜5のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 1つ以上の引張部材を、前記積層複合素材の長さに沿った所定位置において、前記積層複合素材に挟み込むことをさらに含み、前記所定位置は、前記成形ツールの輪郭及び前記積層複合素材の輪郭のうちの少なくとも1つの幾何学的変化に対応している、請求項1〜6のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 前記成形力を方向変更することは、前記成形力によって前記積層複合素材の複合材レイアップに圧縮応力が蓄積される位置において、前記成形力を利用して前記積層複合素材内に張力を生成することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記張力は、前記積層複合素材に挟み込まれた1つ以上の引張部材によって生成され、ここで、前記1つ以上の引張部材の自由端は、ドレープ成形ダイヤフラムによる圧縮負荷下で固定位置に拘束され、前記1つ以上の引張部材の挟み込み端部が、前記ドレープ成形ダイヤフラムによる圧縮負荷下にある前記積層複合素材を引っ張る、請求項2又は8に記載の方法。
- 前記1つ以上の引張部材の前記自由端は、前記ドレープ成形ダイヤフラムと、前記成形ツールに隣接する離間スタンドとの間で、圧縮負荷下で拘束される、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記1つ以上の引張部材の前記自由端は、前記ドレープ成形ダイヤフラムと前記成形ツールに隣接する可動トレイとの間に、圧縮負荷下で拘束され、前記ドレープ成形ダイヤフラムは、前記可動トレイを前記成形ツールに対して移動させる、請求項9又は10に記載の方法。
- 前記1つ以上の引張部材の前記自由端は、前記ドレープ成形ダイヤフラムと、前記成形ツールから延びるテンショニングフィルムとの間に、圧縮負荷下で拘束される、請求項9〜11のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- ドレープ成形後に前記積層複合素材から前記1つ以上の引張部材を取り除くことをさらに含む、請求項2又は9に記載の方法。
