Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for producing a paper processing agent and a method for improving the texture of paper.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, products in which paper is treated with a paper processing agent containing a humectant as a main component to give a moist feeling to paper compared to ordinary dry tissue or the like are known. The representative product, lotion tissue, is a moisturizing tissue in which a lotion agent is applied as a paper treatment agent to tissue base paper, and its moist and soft texture greatly improves the feeling of hay fever. In recent years, it has become popular as a seasonal product for the winter, such as anti-influenza measures. In recent years, it has expanded from the use of nostrils to daily use and is becoming a year-round.
As a moisturizing agent for a moisturizing tissue, a polyhydric alcohol such as glycerin or polyethylene glycol (PEG), particularly glycerin made from natural fats and oils is often used. This moisturizing agent is intended to enhance the moisture absorption and moisture retention of paper and give it a moist feeling. In addition, it feels when people touch it as a means to improve purchasing motivation. The texture as a texture and feel is the most important quality of moisturizing tissue. In order to improve the texture such as softness and surface feel (smoothness), various bases such as surfactants, oily components such as hydrocarbons and esters, and thickeners are blended. The surfactant mainly becomes a component that determines the characteristics of the texture, and can impart softness. The oil component is a component that mainly affects the change in the texture, and can impart smoothness.
However, in order to uniformly mix the humectant of the main component and these bases, it is necessary to emulsify. However, it is very difficult to prepare an emulsification system based on the humectant. It is also very difficult to achieve both a base balance for adjusting and a base balance for improving the texture. In addition, no objective index has been established for the conditions that define the relationship between the combination of bases and texture improvement.
Conventionally, the following techniques have been proposed as techniques for treating paper with chemicals.
In Patent Document 1, when the additive composition is spray-applied to a sheet material such as paper, a liquid mixture containing the additive composition and a compressed fluid is formed in a closed pressure device system, and the liquid mixture is formed into an orifice. More spraying has been proposed. As the additive composition to be used, a wide variety is exemplified according to the desired properties and performance of the sheet product. In the examples specifically disclosing the invention, it is described that a modified silicone softener or a modified lanolin softener and an additive composition containing a lotion were sprayed onto a tissue paper and applied uniformly.
Patent Document 2 proposes a facial tissue containing a tissue matrix and a nasal skin irritation substance isolator. It is described that a nasal skin irritation substance isolating agent is used with an excipient such as a lotion, and examples specifically disclosing the invention include 74-75% water, 5% glycerin, wax, isolating agent. An example of preparing a lotion by blending a preparation and bentonite is described.
Patent Document 3 describes that cream is contained in roll-shaped toilet paper, but does not describe the details thereof, in particular, the combination with a moisturizing agent.
In Patent Documents 4 to 6, when a paper treatment agent is produced in a paper product such as a moisturizing tissue, a moisturizing agent is added and a surfactant or an oil component is added separately as a single component. Is described.
Patent Document 4 proposes a paper product in which a base paper contains one or more oil substances among hydrocarbons, vegetable oils, waxes, and higher alcohols, and a water-soluble wax. Examples of the water-soluble wax include polyethylene glycol having an average molecular weight of 1000 or more and 20000 or less that has a melting point of 30 ° C. or higher and exhibits a solid at ordinary temperature. In addition to these oil substances (oil-based components) and water-soluble waxes, examples are described in which humectants such as glycerin and surfactants are used in combination, but these oil-based components and surfactants are separately provided as single components. It is added as.
Patent Document 5 proposes a medical solution-containing thin paper containing a chemical solution containing a moisturizing agent in a base paper and having a moisture content in a specific range. Although it is described that the chemical solution may contain an emulsifying component (surfactant) and an oily component, these surfactant and oily component are separately added as individual components.
Patent Document 6 proposes a medicinal solution-containing thin paper containing a microcapsule encapsulating components such as a fragrance, an antiviral agent, and an emollient component, and a powder having an average particle size equal to or larger than the microcapsule. Yes. As described in this microcapsule, melamine resin or the like is used as a film agent, and the film is cured to form a wall material using a method such as coacervation, spheronization, microsponge formation, spray drying, or the like. The purpose is to develop the effect of the encapsulated component with a hard capsule film, but the influence on the texture such as the softness and smoothness of such microcapsules and powders used in combination with these, It is different from the oily component. Moreover, although it is described that a chemical | medical solution may contain an emulsification component (surfactant) and an oil component with a moisturizer, these surfactant and an oil component are added separately as a single component.
However, it is generally very difficult to prepare an emulsifying system based on a humectant. In the prior art as described above, when a chemical solution is produced as a paper processing agent, a moisturizing agent is added and a surfactant and an oil component are separately added as individual components. The chemical solution is separated. For example, separation may be observed after the elapse of 3 days. When the chemical solution is separated, the base paper cannot be uniformly impregnated with the chemical solution. Therefore, the preparation of an emulsifying system for suppressing the separation of the chemical solution requires a contrivance for the types and combinations of the components, and has limitations. In such a background, there has been a demand for a technique that simply suppresses separation of a chemical solution when a surfactant or an oil component is added to improve the texture.
The present invention has been made in view of the circumstances as described above. In a paper processing agent using a moisturizing agent, the paper processing agent can give a good texture to the paper with a moist feeling. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for producing a paper processing agent that can easily suppress separation of the paper and a method for improving the texture of paper.
As a result of intensive studies, the present inventors have previously prepared emulsions such as cosmetics and added them as raw materials to produce a paper treatment agent, which makes it difficult to suppress segregation over time. Even in a system mainly composed of an agent, it is possible to maintain a uniform emulsified state without being easily separated only by adding an emulsion, and separation can be seen even after 1 month of separation, especially in several days. As a result, the stability over time is improved, thereby reducing restrictions on the types and combinations of surfactants and oil components, and even when compared to systems in which surfactants and oil components are added separately. The present inventors have found that the physical properties of the emulsion lead to an improvement in the texture of papers and have completed the present invention.
That is, in order to solve the above-described problems, the paper processing agent manufacturing method of the present invention is a paper processing agent manufacturing method mainly containing a moisturizing agent, wherein an emulsion is added. Yes.
The method for improving the texture of papers according to the present invention is characterized in that papers are treated with a paper processing agent produced by the above method.
According to the present invention, it is possible to give a good texture to paper with a moist feeling, and it is easy to suppress separation of the paper processing agent.

<歪値>
The distortion values of creams, emulsions and liquids used for the preparation of paper processing agents were measured by the following method.
<Strain value>
Using a rheometer MCR102 manufactured by Anton Paar, a cone plate type (diameter 50 mm) is used as a measurement jig, and strain is applied stepwise in a range of 10 −2 % to 10 3 % at a measurement temperature of 25 ° C. The strain value (%) at which the phase angle (°) with respect to the stress obtained at the time is 45 ° was determined. The frequency was 1 Hz, and the number of strain measurement points was between 10 −2 % and 10 3 %, for a total of 51 points by logarithmic elevation.
<有効分>
<Effective portion>
Using a Karl Fischer moisture meter (MKA-610, manufactured by Kyoto Electronics Industry Co., Ltd.), measure the moisture content (%) of the cream, emulsion, or liquid product used in the preparation of the paper processing agent. The removed amount was regarded as an effective amount.
(2) Preparation of treated paper The paper treating agent obtained by the above method was dissolved in water to prepare a treatment liquid having an effective content of 25% by mass. Each treatment solution was uniformly sprayed with a treatment solution amount equal to the mass of the tissue paper on both surfaces of tissue paper (ply number 2, basis weight 15 g / m 2 ) that had not been subjected to softening treatment. After that, it was air-dried for 24 hours, and further left in a constant temperature and humidity room (temperature 20 ° C., humidity 65% RH) for 12 hours or more to equilibrate the moisture content. Went. In addition, about the paper processing agents which concern on Comparative Examples 3-7, since it isolate | separated shortly after preparation and the processing paper which apply | coated the processing agent uniformly cannot be produced, sensory evaluation could not be performed.

Stability over time After preparing the paper treatment agent, put it in a glass bottle about 70%, close the lid and let stand at room temperature, visually confirm the appearance, and evaluated according to the following criteria.
○: Separation is not seen even after 1 month △: Separation is observed within 4 to 15 days ×: Separation is observed within 3 days
The evaluation results are shown in Tables 1 and 2.
From Tables 1 and 2, in each of the examples, no separation was observed even after one month had elapsed since the paper processing agent was prepared. In Comparative Examples 3 to 7, each component was added as it was without emulsification and mixed with stirring so as to have the same component amounts as Cream 6, Cream 7, Emulsion 2, Liquid 2, and Liquid 4, respectively. However, as can be seen from these examples, when an oily component and a surfactant were added separately, separation was observed within 3 days in the system mainly composed of a humectant. In this way, by adding as an emulsion, a clear improvement effect on the stability over time was confirmed, whereby a uniform emulsified state can be easily maintained, such as the types and combinations of surfactants and oily components, etc. It became possible to reduce restrictions.
Furthermore, each Example to which the emulsion was added is moist, is improved in smoothness and softness based on the evaluation point 2 equivalent to the treatment agent unused, and the emulsion is added to the treatment agent. Compared with Comparative Example 1 which is a system of only a moisturizer and water not added and Comparative Example 2 where an emulsifier was added alone, the smoothness and softness were generally improved. The stability over time was improved with the addition of both oil-in-water and water-in-oil emulsions, and the sensory characteristics of moist feeling, softness, and smoothness tended to be excellent.
