Description

The present invention relates to a barrel plating tray and a plating barrel.

In general, barrel plating is one in which a large number of metal articles such as small screws are placed in a rotating barrel having a plurality of holes, and electrodeposition coating or plating is performed while rotating the barrel continuously or intermittently.

However, the rotary plating machine puts many objects to be plated in one barrel and rotates the barrel, so that the objects to be plated easily collide in the container, and the plated objects can be damaged or the plating can be bald. There was a possibility.

In order to solve such a problem, a plate-like rotating member driven by a driving device is arranged in a plating bath, and an input port for an object to be plated opened on one axial end surface of the plate-like rotating member. A plurality of independent storage portions for storing the objects to be plated one by one, removably attaching lid members that cover the input ports of these storage portions, and covering the input ports of the cover members Means for preventing a plating object from dropping off by providing a window through which a plating solution passes in one or both of the part or the part of the other axial end face of the rotating member provided with the storage portion. A provided plating apparatus has been proposed (Patent Document 1).

However, such a plating apparatus has a problem that the number of objects to be plated that can be processed at a time is limited and the flow of the plating solution is small, and the plating solution cannot be efficiently circulated and brought into contact with the object to be plated.

The present invention has been made to solve such a problem, and can simultaneously plate a large number of objects to be plated without bringing them into contact with each other, and without stagnation of the plating solution in the barrel plating tray. An object of the present invention is to provide a barrel plating tray and a plating barrel that can be efficiently circulated and always contacted with a plating solution in a state of flowing.

Therefore, the present invention adopts the following means in order to solve the above-described problems.

The barrel plating tray according to the present invention is:
A bottom portion, a lattice-like standing wall that is erected and arranged on the bottom surface in a lattice-like manner, and a housing portion that accommodates the objects to be plated formed by the lattice-like standing wall and the bottom surface one by one,
With
The bottom surface is formed with a plurality of bottom surface through holes,
The grid-like standing wall is characterized in that a wall surface through-hole is formed at least on the wall surface of each grid.

In the barrel plating tray according to the present invention, a plurality of accommodating portions capable of accommodating objects to be plated one by one are formed by lattice-like standing walls formed in a lattice shape. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the possibility that an object to be plated accommodated in each accommodating portion collides and damages the plating on the surface. In addition, through holes are formed in the bottom surface and side walls of each housing part, and the top surface side is open, so that the plating solution can easily flow in and out of the container, so that the stirred plating solution is always covered. Since it can be made to contact a plated object, it can plate efficiently and uniformly.

Further, in the barrel plating tray according to the present invention, the accommodating portion is formed to be slightly larger than the object to be plated, and is formed in a size that the object to be plated cannot rotate in the accommodating portion. It may be characterized by. By setting the accommodating portion of such a size, the object to be plated is slightly moved in the accommodating portion by rotating the plating barrel. As a result, it is possible to avoid a situation in which the plating solution does not come into contact with a part of the object to be plated always in contact with the housing portion. Further, since the plating solution can be agitated by the movement of the object to be plated, the plating solution can be prevented from stagnating around the object to be plated, and the object to be plated can be efficiently and uniformly plated.

Furthermore, the barrel plating tray according to the present invention may be characterized by having an extending wall disposed parallel to the bottom surface on the outer peripheral side of the grid-like standing wall forming the outermost periphery. By adopting such a structure, the barrel plating tray accommodated in the plating barrel diffuses the plating solution by the extended wall when the plating barrel rotates, so that the plating solution is surrounded around the object to be plated. Stagnation can be prevented and uniform plating can be efficiently applied to the object to be plated.

Further, in the barrel plating tray according to the present invention, among the grid-like standing walls, the grid-like standing walls arranged perpendicular to the plating barrel rotation direction are arranged in parallel with the plating barrel rotation direction. The upper surface may be formed lower than the grid-like standing wall. By adopting such a configuration, when the barrel plating trays are stacked, a gap is formed on the upper surface of the grid-like standing wall vertically disposed between the upper and lower barrel plating trays. It is possible to prevent the plating solution from stagnating around the substrate, and to apply uniform plating to the object to be plated efficiently.

Furthermore, the present invention provides a plating barrel using the barrel plating tray described above,
A tray housing portion that is formed in a substantially U-shaped cross-section by three outer peripheral walls in which a plurality of through holes are formed, and can be arranged by stacking a plurality of the barrel plating trays;
A rotation support member that rotatably supports the outer peripheral portion of the barrel;
A plating barrel is provided.

By adopting such a configuration, the tray container has a substantially U-shaped cross section, and therefore, by rotating, the resistance is greater than that of a hexagonal or octagonal barrel, so the external plating solution can be efficiently stirred. can do. For this reason, it can prevent that a plating solution stagnates around a to-be-plated object, and can apply | coat uniformly to a to-be-plated object efficiently. Moreover, since it can accommodate in a tray accommodating part in the state which piled up the barrel-plating tray by making it substantially U-shape, more to-be-plated objects can be simultaneously carried out, without colliding to-be-plated objects. Can be plated.

Furthermore, the plating barrel according to the present invention is characterized in that a tray support member for floating and arranging the barrel plating tray is provided on the bottom surface of the tray housing portion. Also good. By adopting such a configuration, it is possible to prevent the through hole in the outer peripheral wall on the bottom side of the tray housing portion from being blocked.

Furthermore, the plating barrel according to the present invention may be characterized in that a plating solution stirring fin is formed on the outer peripheral wall of the barrel. By adopting such a configuration, the plating solution outside the plating barrel can be efficiently stirred, so that uniform plating can be efficiently applied to the object to be plated.

Further, in the plating barrel according to the present invention, the plating solution stirring fin may have an opening hole that opens to the outer peripheral wall side. By adopting such a configuration, it is possible to flow the plating solution into the tray accommodating portion more efficiently.

A barrel plating tray 50 and a plating barrel 100 according to the present invention are shown in FIG. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a barrel plating tray 50 and a plating barrel 100 according to the embodiment. FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the barrel plating tray 50, and FIG. 3 is a top view of the barrel plating tray 50. In the following detailed description of the invention, the front, back, right side, left side, top, and bottom refer to the direction of the upper right arrow in FIG. Also, since the drum can rotate in the direction of the arrow in the figure, the drum does not necessarily face in the direction of FIG.

2 and 3, the barrel plating tray 50 includes a bottom surface 10, lattice-like standing walls 20 (20 a, 20 b, and 20 c) that are erected on the bottom surface 10 in a lattice shape, A plurality of accommodating portions 30 formed by the standing wall 20 and the bottom surface 10 are provided. In the present embodiment, nine grid-like standing walls 20 are formed both vertically and horizontally, and a total of 8 × 8 = 64 accommodating portions 30 are formed. Each of the objects to be plated 90 is accommodated in each of the accommodating portions 30.

The bottom surface 10 has at least one bottom through-hole 11 formed in each accommodating portion 30. More preferably, at least four or more bottom through-holes 11 may be provided in one accommodating portion 30. The bottom through-hole 11 is preferably formed in a size having a diameter of 1/2 or less of the size of the object to be plated 90 so that it can be easily placed when the object 90 is placed for the first time.

Wall-like through-holes 21 are formed in the grid-like standing wall 20 so that the plating solution can pass through all four sides of all the accommodating portions 30. The wall surface through hole 21 is desirably formed with a hole having a large diameter with respect to the bottom surface through hole 11 so that the plating solution can easily pass therethrough. However, the size and number of holes are not limited. A plurality of through holes may be formed in the same manner as the bottom through hole 11. Among the grid-like standing walls 20, the height of the upper surface of the grid-like standing wall 20 a arranged perpendicular to the rotation direction of the plating barrel 100 is arranged parallel to the rotation direction of the plating barrel 100. It is made lower than the upper surface of the grid-like standing wall 20b. By producing in this way, a gap is formed when the barrel plating trays 50 are stacked, and the plating solution easily flows from this gap when the plating barrel 100 rotates.

The size of the accommodating portion 30 is preferably formed so as to have a storage size (width) that is about 10% to 30% larger than the size (width) of the object 90 to be plated. That is, it is preferable that the rotational movement of the workpiece 90 itself is limited and can be moved slightly forward / backward / left / right and up / down. If it forms in the accommodating part 30 which can accommodate the to-be-plated object 90 without a gap so that it cannot move at all, the part to which the to-be-plated object 90 will always contact | abut to the accommodating part 30 will generate | occur | produce, and it will be hard to contact plating solution. This is because it is difficult to perform plating on such portions. In addition, the movement of the plating solution is promoted by a slight movement in the accommodating portion 30, so that a new plating solution can always be easily brought into contact with the workpiece 90, and uneven plating occurs. Can be reduced.

Further, the barrel plating tray 50 is provided with an extending wall 40 on the outer peripheral side of the grid-like standing wall 20. The extending wall 40 is formed to extend in parallel with the bottom surface from the grid-like standing wall 20c that forms the outermost periphery. In the embodiment, the extending wall 40 is provided on the three lattice-like standing walls 20c on the front side, the right side, and the left side. However, the extension wall 40 is not limited to this. For example, only one is provided on the front side. It may be provided on all the grid-like standing walls 20 on the front side, right side, left side, and back side. By providing the extended wall 40, when the plating barrel 100 rotates, the extended wall 40 of the barrel plating tray 50 exhibits the function of a fin and stirs the plating solution in the plating barrel 100. Can do. Thereby, the surrounding new plating solution can be moved in the accommodating part 30.

In addition, the barrel plating tray 50 according to the embodiment is provided with a fixing hole 41 that functions as a handle when being inserted into or removed from the plating barrel 100 on the extending wall 40 on the front side.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 4, the plating barrel 100 is formed by three outer peripheral walls, that is, an upper barrel outer wall 61, a rear barrel outer wall 62, and a lower barrel outer wall 63, and left and right circular plates 69. A tray accommodating portion 60, a rotation support member 70 that rotatably supports the tray accommodating portion 60, and a gear member 75 that rotates the tray accommodating portion 60.

A plurality of through holes 65 are formed in the three outer peripheral walls 61, 62, and 63 that form the tray accommodating portion 60, and barrel plating that is disposed in the tray accommodating portion 60 through the through holes 65 in the outer peripheral wall. The plating solution is allowed to flow in the respective accommodating portions 30 of the tray 50 for use. The tray accommodating portion 60 is formed so as to be accommodated in a state where a plurality of barrel plating trays 50 are laminated from the opening on the front side (in the embodiment, eight stages). A tray support member 68 is provided at both ends of the tray accommodating portion 60 and inside the lower surface side barrel outer peripheral wall 63 so that the barrel plating tray 50 can be floated from the lower surface side barrel outer peripheral wall 63. By providing the tray support member 68, the bottom surface through hole 11 or the through hole 65 is prevented from being blocked by the lower surface side barrel outer peripheral wall 63 of the barrel plating tray 50. It should be noted that when the barrel plating tray 50 is accommodated, it may be possible to accommodate the barrel plating tray 50 without any gaps so that the barrel plating trays 50 do not rattle in a stacked state. You may accommodate so that it may have. By providing play, the plating solution can easily enter and advance into the housing portion 30 from this gap, and the plating solution around the object to be plated 90 can always flow. After all the barrel plating trays 50 are inserted into the tray accommodating portion 60, they are fixed by a lid member 80 (see FIG. 5) provided with a plurality of through holes 65 similar to the outer peripheral wall on the front side. The tray 50 is disposed in the tray accommodating portion 60. The fixing method of the lid member 80 is not particularly limited, and various known means can be employed. In addition, plating solution stirring fins 88 are provided on the outer periphery of the tray housing portion 60 so as to be perpendicular to the rotation direction of the tray housing portion 60. The plating solution agitating fin 88 can agitate the plating solution on the outside of the tray housing portion 60 as the tray housing portion 60 rotates. The plating solution stirring fin 88 is provided with an opening hole 88a so as to open to the outer peripheral wall side. By providing this opening hole 88a, the plating solution can be effectively fed into the tray accommodating portion 60 by the flow when the plating solution is about to pass through the opening hole 88a when the plating barrel 100 is rotated. In the present embodiment, one plating solution stirring fin 88 is provided on each of the upper surface side barrel outer peripheral wall 61, the rear surface side barrel outer peripheral wall 62, and the lower surface side barrel outer peripheral wall 63. It doesn't matter. Further, the number and size of the opening holes 88a provided in the plating solution stirring fin 88 are not limited.

A gear member 75 fixed to a circular plate 69 is provided on the left and right side surfaces of the tray housing portion 60, and a rotation support member that rotatably supports the tray housing portion 60 is provided outside the gear member 75. 70 is provided. By engaging other gears (not shown) with the gear member 75, the tray accommodating portion 60 can be rotated.

The barrel plating tray 50 and the plating barrel 100 formed as described above are used as follows. First, the object to be plated 90 is accommodated in each accommodating portion 30 of the barrel plating tray 50. At this time, the size of the accommodating portion 30 is somewhat loose and can be moved back and forth and left and right, but the size of the accommodating portion 30 is such that the workpiece 90 itself does not rotate within the accommodating portion 30. A barrel plating tray 50 having the following is used. By adopting such a configuration, the object to be plated 90 does not move greatly, so that the possibility of the object to be plated 90 colliding with the accommodating portion 30 and being damaged can be reduced, and rattling is not possible. By arranging in such a manner, it is possible to prevent an appropriate movement from occurring due to the rotation of the plating barrel 100 and the generation of a portion that does not come into contact with the plating solution. Further, by making the object 90 non-rotatable, for example, as shown in FIG. 2, there is a possibility that air is not lost due to a fixed arrangement, such as a cylindrical body having a bottom surface, and air remains inside. Even in the case of a certain object 90, the opening is directed upward at some point during rotation, and air can be discharged, so that the plating solution is also in contact with the inside and is plated. It is possible to prevent the occurrence of no part.

In addition, a plurality of storage portions 30 according to the present invention are provided in a lattice shape on the barrel plating tray 50, and the barrel plating trays 50 are stacked in a plurality of stages and arranged in the tray storage portion 60. For this reason, in order to cause the plating solution to flow in all of the accommodating portions 30, it is necessary to stir the plating solution effectively as compared with the conventional barrel. In the present invention, the bottom surface through hole 11 and the side wall through hole 21 are provided on all bottom surfaces of the barrel plating tray 50 and the top surface is open, so that plating can be performed from any direction. Liquid can flow in and out. Therefore, the plating solution can be made to flow and contact effectively without causing the plating solution to stagnate in the object 90 in the housing portion 30. Further, since the extending wall 40 is provided around the barrel plating tray 50, the plating solution can be stirred in the tray housing portion 60 by rotating the plating barrel 100. In addition, since the plating barrel 100 has a rectangular cross section, the plating barrel 100 rotates more than the plating barrel 100 having a hexagonal or octagonal cross section. Can be stirred. Furthermore, since the plating barrel stirring fin 88 is provided in the plating barrel 100, the plating solution outside the plating barrel 100 can be more effectively stirred. Moreover, since the grid-like standing wall 20a installed in the direction perpendicular to the rotation direction is formed one step lower than the grid-like standing wall 20b, a gap is formed between the upper plating tray, The plating solution can be easily flowed into the inside.

As shown in the above-described embodiments, it can be used for metal surface processing such as electrolytic plating, electroless plating, and electrodeposition coating.
