Abstract
Description
車両から送信される走行データから得られる渋滞度を示す交通障害情報と気象情報とに基づいて交通障害発生リスクを予測することで、今後発生する可能性のある交通障害リスクを的確に予測することができる。
Claims (5)
- 走行路について通信型ナビゲーションシステムを装着した車両からプローブデータとして送信される走行データの現況値から得られる現況渋滞度と前記現況値の過去一定期間の統計値から得られる統計渋滞度とからなる渋滞度情報を含む交通障害情報を地図データに基づいて作成する交通障害情報作成サーバと、前記走行路を含むエリアについて気象庁から配信される気象データから気象モデルに基づいて気象情報を作成する気象情報作成サーバとに接続される交通障害リスク予測装置であって、
前記交通障害情報作成サーバで作成された渋滞度情報と前記気象情報作成サーバで作成された気象情報とに基づいて前記走行路について交通障害が発生する可能性を示す交通障害発生リスクを予測する交通障害リスク予測部を備えることを特徴とする交通障害リスク予測装置。 - 前記交通障害情報作成サーバは、前記渋滞度情報を、前記走行データ中の走行速度に従ってそれぞれ複数段階の区分に分別して作成することを特徴とする請求項1記載の交通障害リスク予測装置。
- 前記気象情報が降雪、降水、視程の少なくともいずれかからなる荒天情報を含むとき、前記交通障害リスク予測部は、前記荒天情報を解析して得られる複数のカテゴリに基づいて荒天時に交通障害が発生する可能性を示す荒天時交通障害発生リスクを予測することを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の交通障害リスク予測装置。
- 前記交通障害情報作成サーバは前記走行路を規定するリンクごとに前記渋滞度情報を作成し、前記気象情報作成サーバは前記リンクを含むエリアごとに前記気象情報を作成すると共に、前記交通障害リスク予測部は、前記エリアごとに作成された気象情報と前記リンクごとに作成される渋滞度情報とに基づいて前記交通障害発生リスクまたは前記荒天時交通障害発生リスクを予測することを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の交通障害リスク予測装置。
- 前記交通障害情報作成サーバは、前記渋滞度情報を所定の走行区間ごとに作成することを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の交通障害リスク予測装置。
