Abstract
Description
以下、実施例1の発光装置の各種変形例について述べる。
実施例1では、表面電極12の第2領域120Bのパターンを台形としているが、基板10の長辺のうちスルーホール14が切り欠く側の長辺に向かうにつれて、その長辺方向の幅が広くなるような形状であれば任意の形状でよい。幅が広くなるのであれば、連続的に広がるのであっても段階的に広がるのでもよい。たとえば、図7(a)、(b)に示すように、実施例1の台形の直線状の斜辺を、円弧とした形状や、図7(c)のように、階段状とした形状であってもよい。ただし、表面電極12の形成精度などの点から実施例1のように直線とするのがよい。つまり、実施例1のような台形が好適であり、精度よく表面電極12を形成することが可能となる。

Claims (4)
- 長方形状の基板と、前記基板の両端部にそれぞれ設けられ、前記基板を貫通するスルーホールと、前記基板の表面に設けられた表面電極と、前記基板の裏面に設けられた裏面電極と、前記スルーホールの側面に設けられ、前記表面電極と前記裏面電極を接続する側面電極と、前記基板の表面に設けられ、前記表面電極と接続するフリップチップ型の発光素子と、を有した発光装置であって、
前記発光素子は、長方形状であって、一方の主面には2つの電極がそれぞれ離間して設けられ、前記電極は、前記発光素子の長方形の長手方向に延びる長尺状の形状であり、
前記スルーホールは、前記基板の長辺を切り欠くようにして設けられ、
前記表面電極は、
前記基板の両端部にそれぞれ設けられ、前記発光素子の長尺状の電極と同一形状またはその形状を長手方向に伸ばした形状のパターンであって、長手方向が前記基板の長手方向と揃えられた第1領域と、
前記第1領域に接続し、前記スルーホールを覆う蓋状に設けられ、前記基板の長辺のうち前記スルーホールが切り欠く側の長辺に向かうにつれて、その長辺方向の幅が広がる形状を有した第2領域と、を有し、
前記発光素子の一方の電極と、前記表面電極の少なくとも前記第1領域とが一致するように前記発光素子は配置されて接続されている、
ことを特徴とする発光装置。 - 前記表面電極は、前記第1領域を挟んで前記第2領域に対向して位置する第3領域をさらに有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発光装置。 - 前記第2領域は台形であることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の発光装置。
- 前記スルーホールは、前記第2領域の縮小相似形である、ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の発光装置。
