Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a light emitting unit, and particularly to a light emitting unit in which a plurality of light emitting modules in which a plurality of LEDs are arranged as light emitting elements are arranged.
Conventionally, a light emitting unit in which a plurality of light emitting modules are arranged in one direction is known. For example, in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2014-090055 (Patent Document 1), a light emitting module in which a plurality of light emitting elements (LEDs) are mounted on a substrate provided on a support is prepared, and the light emitting module is arranged in one direction. A light emitting unit that is arranged in a plurality and arranged on a support is disclosed.
In such a light-emitting unit, if the distance between adjacent light-emitting modules becomes long, the pitch interval in the arrangement direction of the light-emitting modules becomes uneven. Therefore, it is necessary to arrange the light-emitting modules as closely as possible.
By the way, in such a light emitting unit, the life of the light output of each light emitting module is likely to vary due to the device configuration, usage environment, individual differences of mounted LEDs, and the like. Naturally, when some of the light emitting modules reach the end of their life or become defective (lighting failure), the light distribution of the entire light emitting unit is significantly adversely affected, which is the product life.
From such a viewpoint, it is preferable in terms of device design that the light emitting modules installed in the light emitting unit are individually detachable.
However, in recent years, there has been a demand for a high light output type light emitting unit in which LEDs are mounted at a high density, and it is necessary to closely arrange the light emitting modules. It is likely that the LED and the connection terminal on the substrate will be damaged. Therefore, there is a problem that the attaching / detaching work becomes very complicated.
Japanese Patent Laying-Open No. 2006-39201 (Patent Document 2) has a structure in which a light-transmitting cover member is provided on a light emitting module in order to protect the LED and the connection terminal as a countermeasure against such an unexpected accident. Have been described.
The schematic structure is shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, and a
Thus, in the conventional technique, as best shown in FIG. 7B, the
Furthermore, the
In view of the above-described problems of the prior art, the present invention has a plurality of light emitting modules arranged in one direction, each of which includes a substrate having a light emitting portion provided with a plurality of LEDs and a support body that abuts and supports the substrate. In the light emitting unit that forms a strip-shaped light emitting region, it is intended to provide a structure in which the light emitting module can be closely arranged without damaging the light emitting module during maintenance and inspection work of the light emitting module.
In order to solve the above problems, in the light emitting unit according to the present invention, a cover member is detachably installed on the light emitting module so as to cover the light emitting unit, and the cover member covers the entire area of the light emitting unit. It has a protective part to cover and an engaging part engaged with the light emitting module, and the engaging part is engaged with the support in a direction perpendicular to the arrangement direction of the light emitting modules. And
In addition, the protective part has a width equal to or less than that of the substrate in the arrangement direction of the light emitting modules.
The board is provided with a terminal hole for a power supply connection terminal, and the protective cover is configured not to cover the terminal hole.
Further, the cover member is provided with a shielding portion that protrudes toward the substrate and extends in the arrangement direction at a position avoiding the light emitting portion.
According to the light emitting unit of the present invention, the protective cover that covers the light emitting units is engaged with the support body in the direction orthogonal to the arrangement direction of the light emitting units, so that the protective cover prevents the adjacent arrangement of the light emitting modules. Therefore, the protective cover can be attached and detached in the state of being adjacently arranged, the light emitting modules can be closely arranged, and the overall light distribution can be improved.
In addition, the light emitting modules can be further closely arranged by setting the width of the protective portion of the protective cover in the arrangement direction to be equal to or smaller than the width of the substrate.
Further, since the protective cover does not cover the power supply terminal hole of the light emitting module, the attaching / detaching operation of the light emitting module is not hindered.
Furthermore, by providing a shielding part in the protection part of the protective cover, it is possible to prevent tools and the like from entering the light emitting part during maintenance and inspection work of the light emitting module, and even if the cover member is deformed, the shielding part contacts the support. By contacting, there is no contact with the light emitting part.

As described above, according to the light emitting unit of the present invention, the cover member that covers the light emitting portion of the light emitting module is engaged with the support of the light emitting module in a direction orthogonal to the arrangement direction of the light emitting modules. A plurality of light emitting modules can be closely arranged, which contributes to an improvement in the light distribution of the entire light emitting unit.
Further, by providing the cover member with a shielding portion that protrudes toward the substrate and extends in the arrangement direction, it is possible to avoid damaging the light emitting portion with a tool or the like at the time of checking the light emitting module.
