Abstract
Description
(a)固体状態での1つまたは複数の芳香族テトラカルボン酸と1つまたは複数のジアミンとを、任意選択的に1つまたは複数の鎖制限剤の存在下で、芳香族テトラカルボン酸、ジアミン、および任意選択の鎖制限剤の総重量に対して1〜25重量%の量で、1つまたは複数の有機液体を含む、1つまたは複数のバインダーの存在下で反応させることによる1つまたは複数の塩の調製の工程と、次に;
(b)工程(a)において得られた塩の重合の工程と
を含む。

を含んでもよい。
熱重量分析(TGA)を、塩の調製中のモノマーの転化率を測定するために行った。用いられる機器は、Perkin−Elmer TGA−7である。塩試料を10℃毎分の速度で30℃から800℃まで加熱し、質量の損失を記録する。160℃〜300℃で検出される質量の損失は、重合反応によって発生した水の損失に相当する。後者と、完全転化の場合に観察されるであろう質量の最大理論損失との間の比は、塩の転化、したがって未反応モノマーの量を評価することを可能にする。
25.02g(0.1モル)のピロメリット酸(PMA)を、水平軸に対して20°よりも大きい傾きの軸に沿った回転運動によって攪拌される回転ドラム型の500ml反応器に入れる。反応器に、機械的応力による混合を改善するようにカウンターパドルを備え付ける。2−メチル−1,5−ジアミノペンタン(MPMD)のエタノール溶液を、26%の質量力価に達するために11.46g(0.1モル)のジアミンを4.06gのエタノール(Hexalab、純度>99.8%)と混合してすることによって調製する。こうして、ジアミン溶液のすべてが酸上へ注入されたとき、エタノールの質量力価は反応混合物中で10%である。
25.02g(0.1モル)のピロメリット酸(PMA)を、水平軸に対して20°よりも大きい傾きの軸に沿った回転運動によって攪拌される回転ドラム型の500ml反応器に入れる。反応器に、機械的応力による混合を改善するようにカウンターパドルを備え付ける。11.47g(0.1モル)の液体2−メチル−1,5−ジアミノペンタン(MPMD)を、2時間30分にわたって容積式計量供給ポンプを用いて反応媒体に添加する。注入されるジアミンの量を、溶液の質量を量ることによってモニターする。液体ジアミンを、反応器の内部に配置されたフラット−コーン注入ノズルを用いて生成する噴霧の形態で固体テトラ酸上へ導入する。注入の全体にわたって、反応器を、30rpmで攪拌しながら、窒素の流れでフラッシュすることによる不活性雰囲気下で、30℃の温度に維持する。
実施例1において調製された1.64gの塩MPMD/PMAを、機械攪拌機を備えた管中で210℃の温度にし、反応の全体にわたって窒素の制御された雰囲気下に維持する。4時間の反応後に、固体ブロック形態でのポリイミドが得られる。
実施例2において調製された1.53gの塩MPMD/PMAを、機械攪拌機を備えた管中で210℃の温度にし、反応の全体にわたって窒素の制御された雰囲気下に維持する。5時間の反応後に、固体ブロック形態でのポリイミドが得られる。
Claims (15)
- 以下の工程:
(a)固体状態での1つまたは複数の芳香族テトラカルボン酸と1つまたは複数のジアミンとを、任意選択的に1つまたは複数の鎖制限剤の存在下で、芳香族テトラカルボン酸、ジアミン、および任意選択の鎖制限剤の総重量に対して1〜25重量%の量で、1つまたは複数の有機液体を含む、1つまたは複数のバインダーの存在下で反応させることによる1つまたは複数の塩の調製の工程と、次に;
(b)工程(a)において得られた塩の重合の工程と
を含むことを特徴とする、芳香族ポリイミドの製造方法。 - バインダーが、芳香族テトラカルボン酸、ジアミン、および任意選択の鎖制限剤の総重量に対して、5〜20重量%、好ましくは10〜20重量%の範囲の量で存在することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 有機液体が、C1〜C4、優先的にはC1〜C3アルコール、ケトン、およびそれらの混合物から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1および2のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 工程(a)中に、バインダーが、ジアミンおよび/または鎖制限剤とのいずれかと一緒に、またはジアミンおよび/または鎖制限剤とは独立して導入されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 重合が、固体状態で、溶融体中で、または液体媒体中で工程(b)中に行われることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 塩が、芳香族テトラカルボン酸とジアミンとを、0.70〜1.30、優先的には0.95〜1.05の範囲の芳香族テトラカルボン酸対ジアミンのモル比で反応させることによって調製されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記芳香族テトラカルボン酸が、ピロメリット酸、3,3’,4,4’−ビフェニルテトラカルボン酸、2,3,3’,4’−ビフェニルテトラカルボン酸、2,2’,3,3’−ビフェニルテトラカルボン酸、3,3’,4,4’−ベンゾフェノンテトラカルボン酸、2,2’,3,3’−ベンゾフェノンテトラカルボン酸、1,2,5,6−ナフタレンテトラカルボン酸、2,3,6,7−ナフタレンテトラカルボン酸、2,3,5,6−ピリジンテトラカルボン酸、3,4,9,10−ペリレンテトラカルボン酸、3,3’,4,4’−テトラフェニルシランテトラカルボン酸、および2,2’−ビス(3,4−ビカルボキシフェニル)ヘキサフルオロプロパンテトラカルボン酸から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- ジアミンが、1つまたは複数のヘテロ原子を任意選択的に含む、線状または分岐の、飽和または不飽和の脂肪族、脂環式または芳香族二価炭化水素ベースの基Rを持った式H2N−R−NH2の分子であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 基Rが、2〜50個の炭素原子と、任意選択的に1つまたは複数のヘテロ原子とを含むことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の方法。
- ジアミンが、脂肪族ジアミンから、好ましくは1,2−ジアミノエタン、1,3−ジアミノプロパン、1,4−ジアミノブタン、1,5−ジアミノペンタン、2−メチル−1,5−ジアミノペンタン、ヘキサメチレンジアミン、3−メチルヘキサメチレンジアミン、2,5−ジメチルヘキサメチレンジアミン、2,2,4−および2,4,4−トリメチルヘキサメチレンジアミン、1,7−ジアミノヘプタン、1,8−ジアミノオクタン、2,2,7,7−テトラメチルオクタメチレンジアミン、1,9−ジアミノノナン、5−メチル−1,9−ジアミノノナン、1,10−ジアミノデカン、1,11−ジアミノウンデカン、1,12−ジアミノドデカン、1,13−ジアミノトリデカン、および1,14−ジアミノテトラデカンから選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- ジアミンが、脂環式ジアミンから、好ましくはイソホロンジアミン、1,3−ジアミノシクロヘキサン、1,4−ジアミノシクロヘキサン、ジアミノジシクロヘキシルメタン、1,3−ビス(アミノメチル)シクロヘキサン、4,4’−メチレンビス(シクロヘキシルアミン)および4,4’−メチレンビス(2−メチルシクロヘキシルアミン)から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- ジアミンが、芳香族ジアミンから、好ましくはm−フェニレンジアミン、p−フェニレンジアミン、3,4’−ジアミノジフェニルエーテル、4,4’−ジアミノジフェニルエーテル、m−キシリレンジアミンおよびp−キシリレンジアミンから選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記鎖制限剤が、アミン基、カルボン酸基、酸無水物基、エステル基およびアシルクロリド基から選択される1つまたは複数の基を含む化合物(C)であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 化合物(C)が、1−アミノペンタン、1−アミノヘキサン、1−アミノヘプタン、1−アミノオクタン、1−アミノノナン、1−アミノデカン、1−アミノウンデカン、1−アミノドデカン、ベンジルアミン、無水フタル酸、ピロメリット酸無水物、トリメリット酸無水物、1,2−ベンゼンジカルボン酸、酢酸、プロピオン酸、安息香酸、ステアリン酸、メリト酸、トリメリット酸、フタル酸、1−ヘキサン酸、1,2,3,4,5−ベンゼンペンタカルボン酸、トリメリット酸無水物クロリドならびにその酸、エステルおよびジエステル誘導体、ベンゾイルクロリド、トルオイルクロリド、ナフトイルクロリド、テトラメチルピロメリテート、テトラエチルピロメリテート、トリメチル1,2,4−ピロメリテート、トリメチル1,2,5−ピロメリテート、ジエチル1,2−ピロメリテート、ジエチル1,4−ピロメリテート、ジエチル1,5−ピロメリテート、ジメチル1,2−ピロメリテート、ジメチル1,4−ピロメリテート、ジメチル1,5−ピロメリテート、メチルピロメリテート、エチルピロメリテート、トリメチルトリメリテート、トリエチルトリメリテート、ジメチル1,3−トリメリテート、ジメチル1,4−トリメリテート、ジエチル1,3−トリメリテート、ジエチル1,4−トリメリテート、ジエチル3,4−トリメリテート、メチルトリメリテート、エチルトリメリテート、イソフタル酸、テレフタル酸、コハク酸、グルタル酸、アジピン酸、セバシン酸および1,12−ドデカン二酸、ならびにそれらの混合物から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 工程(b)が、工程(a)の終わりに直接得られた混合物を150℃以上の、好ましくは150〜250℃の範囲の温度にすることによる、固相重合によって行われること、および、工程(b)中に、重合が、0.005〜1MPaの範囲の絶対圧で行われることを特徴とする、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
